I was told that "in the mean time" I would need to provide my address/email/etc. I was busy during the week and waited 2 days to respond. I was told 30 hours before my appointment that our business was "canceled" because we had not completed our information. I responded immediately and offered the information but was not given a response for over 7 hours. Now I must find last minute cleaning. Poor communication, poor business practice. They left no item unturned (first thing they did was go around the house and move things away from the walls in order to get under the items and all the way to the baseboards). I have never written a negative review on Yelp in my entire life. I truly try to see the best in people, but we did not have a positive experience with this company. Unfortunately the photos posted are just a small sample of areas not cleaned during our "deep clean". The individual (I presume owner) that I messaged with when booking the cleaning was pleasant and responded in timely fashion when I was trying to confirm booking. However, things quickly went down hill from there. My husband sent me these photos after the cleaners had left and mentioned that in addition to this the floor to ceiling windows of our back deck door were left untouched. In fact, the cleaners who came didn't even have the appropriate supplies, as indicated by my husband providing them with glass cleaner when they came back a second time as a result of me sending the following photos. The owner seemed to feel badly and made me believe that I would not be charged (perhaps a misunderstanding if the owner was referring to only the time when the cleaner came back to help my husband try to do the job we were paying for) so I actually was prepared to write a positive review on him taking accountability for the poor service. However, that is not what occurred. The cherry on top of this experience was coming home from work and seeing that the kitchen cabinets we had professionally painted last month (photo example of just one cabinet below..unfortunately they are all this way) have what appear to be droplet like markings/streaks on them that will not come off. So I was charged 142 bucks when my husband spent over an hour re cleaning our place and we now have damaged cabinets. We got our bill which indicates they worked through 11:46 AM when texts from my spouse indicate they left (at the latest) 10 minutes prior. They charge .50 cents a minute so this comes out to being overcharged by about 10 bucks which is extra frustrating considering the extremely poor quality of work. We hired this company to do a deep clean in preparation for photographs to list our place for sale, so obviously this was fairly important. I think these photos and the fact that my husband had to spend an additional hour fixing our place speaks for itself. Update: after posting this review the owner reached out and ultimately acknowledged that the clean was not up to their standards. I lick test every single surface in my living quarters both before and after the cleaning services I use perform their duties. The crevice between the fridge and the wall, the toilet bowl, the door handles - it gets licked and logged. I also innovated and created an analyzer tool that didn't exist in any market. I procured a high school microscope for looking into Petri dishes. I made engineering modifications and removed the base to create a free flowing spectral analyzer. I go over every cubic centimeter - centigrade and Fahrenheit in my analysis. Every test I conducted they passed with flying colors. I try to keep my place clean but with 2 Australian Shepherds, it's impossible to keep it sparkly clean. First off, can we talk about the price? $30/person/hour!! I called around and this is the best price I could find in Chicago! Second, great communication! I messaged Elvis through Yelp and didn't get a response so I ended up calling him. He picked up right away and was very friendly. My appointment was scheduled for noon, but an hour before my appointment time, I received a call. The cleaning lady was running behind so Elvis let me know that the cleaner will be coming an hour later. Third, my house was super clean after the cleaning lady left! I got a deep clean of my house. The baseboards were wiped clean. The carpeted bedroom had no trace of any fur (or barely any fur). The bathrooms were wiped and cleaned very well. The kitchen looked amazing. The cleaning took around 3 hours and she did a great job! You do not have to provide any cleaning supplies since they bring their own. I hired them was to deep clean 2 bathrooms and 1 kitchen. Nothing else. I also said I wanted the fridge and oven cleaned. When the day came, I was told the cleaners were going to be late because their earlier appointment ran long as the customer ahead of me changed the request to a deep clean. Eventually, one (instead of the promised two) folks came a couple hours late and by the time he got here, we came to realize he didn't have the proper supplies to do an oven cleaning or stainless steel cleaning. late review, but I hired Soji Cleaners to do a clean of my vacant apartment after I moved out of it in April 2022. I asked them to sweep, mop, do baseboards, inside and outside of appliances and cabinets, and to get all cob webs. After they cleaned. The outside of the cabinets still needed attention, baseboards were also not cleaned and the cobwebs that were there before they cleaned still remained, and the dust/hair they cleaned up in the floor somehow seemed to be stuck and all over the walls. It only cost $120, which was cheap, but the quality of work explains that. I should have complained the day of and sent photos, but I was so over that apartment and ready to move on I just let it go. read more

The pricing ($35/hr) is reasonable but some of the business practices seem dishonest. To start, there is a $20 hold required before cleaning can begin. I was not informed of this, and was sent the invoice via email 20 minutes after my cleaning was to begin. I immediately paid the $20 invoice and was told cleaning would begin. I requested that my 1 bedroom/ 1 bathroom 750 sq ft apartment be cleaned as part of a move-out process. The apartment was clean in general, but I needed a deeper cleaning for the oven and the bathroom. After two or three hours had passed, I called to ask if the cleaning was completed. I was told it was not. To make a long story short, one cleaner did not finish my apartment until *FIVE* hours later. As it neared hour five, I called again and just told the owner to please tell the cleaner to leave; at this point the service was no longer saving me money, and in fact was probably costing me more than if I had just accepted the charges from the cleaning company my building uses. After calling and explaining this, I was told I would not be charged for more than five hours. I was never told when the cleaner actually left my apartment, but I did receive a receipt -- not an invoice -- a couple of hours later via email. My card had already been charged the total, regardless of what had been done in the apartment. It's clear that the $20 deposit is used only to take your payment information so the company can charge whatever they want when cleaning is "completed." I have no idea how a relatively clean, 750 sq ft apartment inhabited by one woman takes 5 hours to clean, nor do I have any idea what the cleaner was doing the whole time. Buyer beware. The cleaners did ok at best but took extremely long. One guy did two bathrooms and it took him over an hour and a half after they commented how clean they were before they started. When I contacted them with pics of the hair and missed items, they failed to respond. Terrible communication and no accountability to show up when promised for a scheduled cleaning! My husband and I hired Elvis and his team to clean our apartment at 1pm this past Tuesday. Elvis was initially very responsive when we made our appointment, and even confirmed the 1pm arrival time with me less than 2 hours before via text. My husband and I of course both have jobs and are not just waiting around, but his team shows up an hour early. They do call several times, but I am in meetings as is my husband and we are not expecting them to arrive a whole hour earlier when they had just confirmed the time! They wait some time, but eventually leave. My husband arrives home around 12:45pm, and immediately calls Elvis but Elvis proceeds to insist it is OUR fault for not being there at a time we did not schedule. He says the team has already gone home, and there is no way to do the cleaning now. No apology, no offer of a time to reschedule. I am sure his team is very capable of doing a great cleaning. The place was a disgusting filthy mess with 6 years of grime buildup from the previous tenants who lived like slobs.
