We have had this company for quite a few years now. they are always here in time the day scheduled. the ladies are so professional and kind. my son has autism and I used to be afraid to have someone in to clean. They were wonderful to him. They often have to clean around him by changing rooms or floors but its never a problem. Im so grateful for these ladies who just "get the job done". Agata has a strong work ethic that shows in her employees. I count on them and they never let me down. I used them the first time for a party. It took so much pressure off me and allowed me to concentrate on the fun stuff. Every woman or man with a FT job deserves this service. Kathy OGrady Mount Prospect. read more

They did an incredible job on my apartment. Price was very reasonable for what she cleaned. Showed up on time and worked her butt off. Highly recommend. read more

I've used YBH twice in the past year. The first time I had my house cleaned by them, I was soo impressed. I wish I knew the lady's name--she really did a fabulous job. She cleaned the appliances, dusted the ceiling fans and the cleaned the floor boards by hand--my house looked amazing. However, my most recent experience was not so great. I have a toddler, so my home needs a lot of special attention. I don't expect miracles, but I don't expect to have to re-clean immediately after the maid leaves. I feel bad for complaining because Yolanda did an ok job (and Agata was so accommodating in getting me an appointment at the last minute) --but for the 4 hours she spent at my home, I was really expecting more. For starters, I requested to have my appliances cleaned inside and out---Yolanda cleaned the refrigerator, but she didn't even bother to wipe out the freezer. Next, we have a largeplay mat in my son's room. The rag/mop she used to clean it with must have been mildewed, because once it dried, it smelled like holy crap in his room...not to mention there were milk stains still on the hardwood floors in his room (from where he accidently/purposefully tips over his sippy cup). The floor boards were clean in some parts of the house, but not everywhere. To add insult to injury-- I had to clean the bathroom after the maid left. Yikes! Granted, my husband had to use the bathroom for a total of 15 min to get ready for work, but I assumed she was going to clean the other remaining rooms and then head back to clean the bathroom after he was done. Boy was I wrong! When we did the final walk-thru of the house--it wasn't until I mentioned that the bathroom still looked dirty that she decided to tell me that she skipped over it. All in all, I was not a happy camper--and based on this last experience, I don't think I'd use them again. read more

It's been about 15 years and we really appreciate the professionalism, as well as the care and concern these folks show. Agatha and her crew are the best. read more

I've been a customer for several years and the team members who've worked at my house have always been courteous and respectful of both me and my belongings. The house always looks great. When any issue has ever cropped up, it's been taken care of speedily and with great professionalism. I appreciate their flexibility and responsiveness in scheduling as I often don't know more then 1-2 weeks in advance when I want my monthly cleaning to happen. I've also used them for cleaning some of my rental properties and they've done a great job of making sure everything looks great for my new tenants. I really appreciate the excellent service they've given me over the years. read more

Seven months later, and I am still in love with Your Bright Home! The level of care they provide when cleaning is top notch. I have to say, I am very picky (I had a friend tell me he felt sorry for whoever cleaned my house because I'm so demanding) and I am ALWAYS pleased. I realize they are listed under Home Cleaning, but I would add to that "Mental Health" for the piece of mind they provide after I see my sparkly, spotless home. I'm a fan for life! read more

Before we moved into our new apartment (3 bed/3 bath) we wanted to make sure that the place is cleaned both inside and out. We hired Your Bright Home to do a one-time Move-in cleaning based on the reviews they received on Yelp, and we're very glad we did. The cleaning lady YBH sent over worked really hard to make sure all 2,500 sq-ft was cleaned. But due to some specific task we requested, the job wasn't completed within the original estimated time. Long story short, I emailed YBH regarding the situation and the managers came over the next hour, inspected our place and decided to give it another go. This time with a crew of three. Needless to say, our place is now spotless. It's great to find a company that's willing to provide amazing customer service to make sure their clients are happy. My wife and I are so pleased with the service Your Bright Home provided that we're sure to go with them again for any cleaning job we need. read more

I'll preface this review by saying I don't clean regularly and have two cats, so my condo was pretty gross when I called YBH. I am listing my place for sale and called for a one-time deep clean to prep for photos and showings. I was quoted $100 total for four hours, which was the minimum for a one-time cleaning. Scheduling was extremely convenient, and they were able to accommodate me within a few days, which was amazing. I live in a high-rise with a doorman and public parking, but when my cleaning person arrived, the office called to ask me to meet her out front and show her where to go. I did. She did not speak much. She then had me help carry in cleaning supplies because she could not carry them all herself, which seemed odd. (It's a good thing I was able to. What about getting a cart?) The cleaning itself was fairly good, given the messy state of my condo. All the basics were done. However, there were a few spots that were missed (under bathroom garbage can, shower head, etc.) and I didn't notice when she asked me to check. There were also a few spots I had to ask her to go over a few times, like vacuuming between couch cushions and inside closets, and the cat bed I asked her to vacuum at least three times was never touched. Whatever was used to clean the floors left them streaky. She also left a large mountain of bubbles in the bathroom sink -- which I'm glad I found before my cats got to it! She wrapped up in under four hours (but I thought that was the minimum?) and seemed very rushed to leave toward the end. She pointed to where she left the trash but didn't offer to take it out. Then she had me help again with carrying supplies back to her car, paying the garage ticket (happy to pay, but weird that I had to physically go to the pay machine), and show her out of the garage -- driving maybe 3-4 miles/hour all the way down. When I asked if I could pay online, she told me I should pay with a check, so I did. Overall, the cleaning was pretty good (not perfect), but the customer service experience day-of left something to be desired. read more

I have been using this service for 3 years and after my experience with them yesterday I will no longer book with them again. The lady they sent finished half the job than she left, when I contacted the company they weren't able to contact the lady either, never offered to send someone to complete the job and was more concerned with payment for an incomplete job Added: When this happened the owner was out of town but once she returned she contacted me immediately to rectify the problem and I was happy with the quick resolution I received and her professionalism and sincere apology. read more

I've been using Your Bright Home for about a year now and don't know what I did before them. In the past 12 months 3 different women had come out and I settled on one whom I now request on a regular basis as she does a phenomenal job cleaning. For a small upcharge YBH will supply all cleaning supplies, which I take advantage of. You can of course supply your own cleaning products and they waive the charge. Regardless of how much time your cleaner(s) spend in the home, you still get charged the flat rate. With hours during the week and on Saturdays makes this the ideal cleaning service for me. Agata is always very accomodating to get you the date and time of a cleaning appointment that works best for your schedule. I highly reccomend Your Bright Home. read more

I have used this company five times over the past year. I wanted to schedule a cleaning this weekend. The new phone operator/intern - Lukas read me the riot act. I told him I wanted a cleaning and that I am a previous customer. He asked me questions about the number of stories I have in my house, and number of bedrooms --- things that should ostensibly be on my file. When I asked "why is this occurring" he said it was to give me a quote. Now I have always paid $25/hr. It has always been $100. I have always tipped $30 - $40. I am not sure why this "interview" became more comprehensive then getting a mortgage. There are literally 100 competitors on Yelp. Find one that actually has a customer database. read more

I started using YBH last year (when it was a different name) to clean my 6 bedroom foster home in time for an inspection tour. The staff did an excellent job at that time; but I decided not to use them any further afterwards. Then this year, I decided to give them a try again: but this time on a weekly basis. I have been using this service for a few months now: and Andre and Anna do a great job (as expected). When it came time for my annual inspection/tour again this year: YBH came through again. And although I didn't have my "regular" staff: the lady that serviced me, still did a fine job - even though she worked alone. The best thing of this service (other than the fine work they do): is the responsiveness of the owner: Agata (pronounced like Agatha). I konw that if I have any issues or special requests: Agata and her crews will be right there to serve my needs. Another great thing, is that you can make your payments online, by going to their site at www.ybhcleaning.com, and click on the Pay Online button in the upper right hand corner on the main page. This will take you to a PayPal screen: which is very convenient, secure - and you don't even need to have an account, in order to use the service. I find this very convenient, and use it all the time. Agata also can send you an invoice if you would like: just another service I love. I will continue to use this service: and may even consider increaseing their visits, to help me keep us the the never ending dust that my house produces. GREAT JOB to everyone at YBH. read more

For the past 3 years I've used YBH. Agata has been very accommodating in all my requests. Pricing is reasonable. The "cleaners" are very nice. For the most part I've had the same cleaner (Marcie) Super nice lady. She does a great job at cleaning. My only gripe would be not all baseboards were cleaned each time and lights being left on. Other than that, if I wasn't moving I would continue to use them. read more

We had to do a one time cleaning so we could have a fresh start with new roommates. We chose YBH because there were quite a few good reviews but I have to say I wasn't impressed. We will have to go back over the toilet, bathroom floor and sink. The actual cleaner, Lessa (I think) worked hard, was very nice and apologized. When Lucas, from the office, called to ask me how it went and I told him "okay" he asked why, I explained and he made excuses and blew me off. Like I told Lucas, when I pay to have a professional do a job, I expect it to be done better than I would do it and the cleaning definitely was not. I would have gladly paid more to have gotten a better cleaning. read more

We started using Your Bright Home in the spring. The first couple of times they were great. Then they started leaving earlier then we contracted for and their work became fairly sloppy. I just had my first experience with YBH. I've never used a cleaning service before. Agata was so easy to deal with. She was very flexible and helpful with setting up my appointment. She answered all of my questions and concerns. Kate was here today and left everything just sparkling! I'm so thrilled. I did pay extra($25 an hour) for an initial deep cleaning, and it was so worth it! She cleaned my appliances inside and out, my bathrooms are spotless, my windows are clean, she vacuumed all of my furniture and hand washed my floors! I cannot get over it! There was a lot of dust and I have a dog that sheds very fine hair like a maniac. Everything is clean. I am SO HAPPY! I would recommend them again and again and again!! read more

I've been using Your Bright Home on and off for years & now have them on a monthly basis. The women have always been top notch and work harder than I can possibly imagine cleaning my home. My kids do a fair amount of chores - so our house is not a disaster area when they come - and still, I can't believe just HOW clean it is when they leave. The price is excellent, the work is outstanding, they are fast, reliable and will do precisely what I ask of them. If you are looking for reliable, trustworthy cleaning service, you can't go wrong with Agata and Your Bright Home. read more

I didn't expect good things. I called and set a date. I was told Alana would be my cleaning person. I have to say, my personal choice, when given one, is to have a team come and it goes so much faster. But they were sending one person and just dealt with that. She was on time, with her own cleaning supplies. She didn't just walk in; she waited for me to answer the door. Amazing. She was nice and polite and cooed at the bunnies. And she did a Great Job! I did catch one cobweb later, but I'm not sure the spiders didn't work really fast after she left because the rest of the house was immaculate. And I didn't mind having someone in the house for so long. She was quiet (as quiet as anyone with a vacuum can be) and I barely knew she was there. I think I may have found my regular people. read more

Finally, a cleaning company that does a great job, has reasonable prices, and is flexible regarding scheduling! We recently decided to hire them every other week to clean our 3-bedroom condo. Ira leaves the place sparkling, and my 2 dogs love her. Best of all, I don't have to spend the majority of every weekend cleaning :) I highly recommend YBH. read more

I simply cannot say enough good things about YBH and Ana that comes to our apartment. First, Agata is top notch to work with regarding scheduling and accomodating my schedule as well. I have been through two different maids and they have both done a horrible job. The owner actually called me to tell me that her maid lied to her. I'd like to spare others from this so am choosing to post a review. read more

Engaged them for move out and move in cleaning. They were average. Took a long time and some areas were not 100% cleaned.

We used them while we lived in Chicago for our condo cleaning and now continue to use them for our home cleaning in Naperville. I have been using this company for several years every 2- 4 weeks. I never thought to write a review before but forgot their number so went online to get it and saw this site. We ALWAYS have a couple (not just one person) and really like the job they do. We leave a note telling what we want emphasized at this cleaning and point out anything that made us less than pleased the time before. I can not say enough about what a great job they do and how accommodating Agatha is on the phone. read more

I really wish I could give this company a higher rating, however it is impossible. Firstly, I expected two people for four hours. They sent one. Secondly, she didn't speak or understand ANY English! Next, she thoroughly cleaned my oven and refrigerator. I was pleased with that, however, dust remained on furniture and rooms were poorly swept. I even had to have her call the owner for translation. Super awkward! After 4 hours in my home and only 4 rooms to clean, I was disappointed. I'll continue looking for a company that can impress me. read more

I would've given them a resounding 5 stars if the initial cleaning lady I had was still there. She was really nice and did a wonderful job. No complaints out of me ever in those months she worked. After she left their company, I had at least 3-4 more ladies who came but none ever did a great job. I realize that people who do this work are doing it out of necessity and not because they love to clean but the difference in attention to detail and conscientiousness is vast. One woman was a bit sullen and I was uncomfortable asking her to do a better job. The jets in the bathtub were getting grimier each week. One woman came for several weeks but never really vacuumed. She would Swifter all the dust down the stairs into a heap and then vacuum the heap. One day I inadvertently leaned on a sofa and to my horror, discovered huge mounds of dust and crumbs that had accumulated over the multiple weeks. Also I could see dust bunnies populating in corners and under our bed. The owners? (one male and one female) were really great to deal with and very pleasant, professional and tried to help me find someone who did as good of a job as their employee who left, but unfortunately, the employees who came over were OK but not very good. I'd give them a "B" for their cleaning abilities. Finally after trying multiple of their cleaning ladies, I quit their services when I looked into our shower in the basement (I never really looked there) and discovered all this pink scum on the shower floor and sides (and the cleaning lady had been there a few days prior). I took pictures of this "evidence" and left them a message saying I would be happy to send them pictures of proof of this subpar cleaning and that I was quitting their services. I mean, how many chances and cleaning ladies can you go through before you finally give up and realize maybe the quality that you're looking for is something they can't provide? They never called me back. I think they grew tired of me and just decided to ignore me. Not the most professional ending but they did try to find me a good cleaning lady. Unfortunately, if you are a person who likes to have a really CLEAN bathroom and kitchen, you might want to keep looking. If you want a B grade clean, then they would definitely make you happy. read more

This is kinda long but I'm just annoyed with my first experience and having spent $85 on a cleaning....My husband was nice enough to set up our very first professional cleaning. I work retail and we have a 6 month old so needless to say keeping up with our house can get pretty tough. I'm not sure our maid's name but I'm sure the experience can very greatly from person to person. However, no one from the business called for feedback or anything. So, this was my first experience ever and I expected a "professional" cleaning which to me means cleaning the same if not better than I would clean my own house and that didn't happen. First off, she walked in and said she expected something much bigger and that my house shouldn't take long at all. I didn't expect her to clean my messy back porch area but since she thought my house wouldn't take long she said she would clean it too. However, she didn't clean it and actually ran out of time at 4 hours, the maximum number of hours we agreed to. I'm not sure what she spend her time on, I tried not to stay out of her way. She spend a ton of time in my tiny bathroom and at my kitchen sink. There were many things she left dirty, like my bath tub - left a ring around it with soap scum, didn't wipe down any of the wood, didn't clean any portion of my fridge including the stainless steal which was super dirty, she swiffered everything (which I hate cause I think you need to wipe it clean with polish), and ran out of time cleaning my floors which I had to clean once she left and they were so very dirty. She also said she'd move my furniture and clean under it, which she didn't - I asked her if she had and she said, I didn't as far as I could. That wasn't what we talked about. read more

I had a lovely gal come help me during a move in...after a full home remodel and sanding dust was everywhere. She dug right in and did a fantastic job....never even taking a break. She worked so well that I asked her back for a second morning and let her loose on the kitchen and windows. I highly recommend this service for any of your cleaning needs. read more

Agnes came to clean our new home last week and we were more than satisfied! The price was amazing, and our house was sparkling clean. I've been happy with my experiences with Your Bright Home. Both Margarets, and Ewalina, are great. I have them do bi-weekly cleaning. One visit with another woman (don't recall her name) wasn't great, the floors were sticky and had a strange film on them after she left, and so they still looked dirty. That was upsetting. But, overall, good service and skills. They do take a while, but it's not terrible. I'd say 2-3 hours for my three bedroom (small rooms), two bath house. Very kind people also. Agata is also great with scheduling and she's very flexible. A lot of communication with her is via email, which is also so convenient for me. read more
