If you're looking for an authentic piece of Italy with a variety of flavors & pizza combos this may be your spot! From chicken bbq, margeritta, & so much more Soho is just a slice away from Italy. From friendly, accomodating customer service & homemade pizzas they really do have it all. I was beyond impressed with Soho. I have to say that I am a sucker for a good Margaritta pizza & I was not let down. At first I was not sure 2 slices would be enough to fill my appettite but Soho def delivers. While i got the Marg my bf got the chicken buffalo which packed a bit of spice with a hefty amount of chicken. A great way to spend the evening & check out new spots in town. read more

I am one of those annoying former New Yorkers who has never gotten a Pizza in Ct that I think is so great I would tell people ,Some are fine I've always thought in Danbury itself SoHo is the best .I grew up eating Pizza In Brooklyn Heights or little Italy or just some NY pizza slice and so many "New York" style in Brewster and Danbury Amodern in new Haven I love probably my favorite in Ct .Now PePes is good but 42$ for a Pizza ...No....So wanting Chicken on my pizza I ordered a chicken with ricotta xl pie from So ho We ate the entire Pizza it absolutely did not fail and I could pick up some mini fresh made cannolis on my way out at Double Twister .Thankyou SoHo you got my chicken pizza crying nailed!!! read more

Guy at the front counter VERY VERY rude, over the phone and in person. Me and my partner both have experienced his rudeness. Will NOT be going back there again. It has happened multiple times I ignored it the first few times because maybe he was having a bad day but totally over it now . VERY VERY VERY rude. I have eaten SoHo pizza twice. On each occasion I was blown away by the taste and quality!! First occasion I was at a work event and was able to sample almost every pizza on their menu. However, the one that really Impressed me, and surprisingly, was their buffalo chicken pizza. A little spicy, great crust flavor and texture!! Simply put, their best pizza!! Although everyone's palate is different, mine loves their buffalo chicken pizza.....the crust has a little zing to it and rich butter taste -- albeit the crust is of the thin type, and is interesting because I actually prefer thick crust. Even though the crust is of the thin type it is hands down remarkable!! Another notable is their standard pepperoni/ cheese pizza. Bottom line: get the buffalo chicken pizza if you like a little zing and a rich butter tasting crust...you'll thank me later!! read more

I have ordered from Soho a few years ago for our business. Always had a great pie from them. I don't know what the hell happened here but ANY restaurant with this many negative reviews has to be doing something wrong. Customer service should be top priority as well as the food but what I've read here turns me off completely. Want good pizza in Danbury go to Pepe's pizza near Harley Davidson. Or in Bethel try Capri pizza on Old Hawleyville across from the Big Y. We're from the Bronx so we know good pizza. Good luck read more

I decided to go be Soho Pizza another try. This time their pizza was amazingly out of this world! Ordered a large pizza with everything except anchovies and it was delish! Always been the best pizza! I try different places from time to time but this is my go to spot! The crust is different and I love the crunch to it. I would eat pizza so much more but I can't afford it or I would probably eat it a few times a week lol I'm lucky if it's once a month. But Soho's is truly the best! The staff is always polite Everytime I come in there. The place is clean and always well kept and I've been there different times of the day it's always clean. I've orders many times in the past but tonight was ridiculous! The delivery driver parked in my driveway and called me to tell me that he was there and I said OK. I stood at my front door 5 feet from him for over five minutes waiting for him to deliver the pizza. He expected me to go out to the car to get it from him. I have small children and a cat that tries to escape. I called but no one cared. read more

GREAT for delivery. I typically order the white with fresh tomato pizza. Typically I never enjoy white pizza, but something about the olive oil, fresh tomato, Italian seasoning... gives it this refreshing and excellent flavor. Also, the pizzas are HUGE! I have a couple friends who order the buffalo chicken pizza with double meat and, wow. Not only is it delicious but what a flavor! Delivery is usually on time and fairly quick in comparison. Stopped in for a slice. Only one guy was somewhat friendly. Pizzas looked ok. The crust has a slight taste of something that throws it off. And it's not the corn bread like crust that's off to me. That's fine gives it a little crunch. Cheese had good taste sauce simple. Nothing special. Slice size is ok. Price is decent. For quick slice its fine don't expect much. Guys there really don't care about customer service. They take your order then continue to speak whatever might be Albanian or something. Which it doesn't matter what they are just a little customer service goes a long way. One guy was out front on phone whole time yelling about what ever. When we walked in he was and when we walked out still was all along looking at us with dirty look. How do you not look tho??? What ever quick slice it's fine keep air buds in and ignore rest. Suddenly on a commercial street near Western Connecticut State University, a small but spiffy hole-in-the-wall was serving astonishingly delicious pizza, as well as salads, paninis and entrées at fast food prices, from 11:00 in the morning to 10:00 at night, to eat in but mostly to take out. Sure there are tables. Eight, usually full. Kids running around. Thaci lovingly formatting pizza dough. The smell of bread baking. And emerging from the kitchen. And there's more - grilled rib-eye steak on ciabatta, Soho spaghetti, a luxe mélange of pasta, Portobello mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, broccoli and chicken. I had a nice variety of Pernil which was tender and flavorful, chopped pork ribs which was salty and fatty. The stewed oxtail fell off bone and had a delicate texture. The highlight of my meal was the avocado salad, halved avocados seasoned and mixed with onions. It offered a silky texture with a beautiful crunch.

It's well proofed, the perfect balance of chewy and tender, gently salted and seasoned to allow toppings to shine. The thin Neopolitan / Neapolitan style crust is best eaten fresh out of the oven, not by delivery or take-away. After many years of eating at Stanziato's, though, we have some additional observations: As at just about every other restaurant, service is variable. The wait staff tends to be beautiful and young, capable about 80% of the time and less so about 20% of the time. The front of the house was extremely disorganized on a recent visit and although it was not busy, we waited 10 minutes to be seated. (We noticed others waiting a long time by the door without acknowledgment, waiting to put in or pick up an order.) Our first hostess greeted us curtly, and then completely disappeared, leaving a colleague to pick up the pieces 10 minutes later. Salads are well designed, but not always well executed. On several recent visits, our salads were slightly gritty with sand or soil. (A supplier issue?) Lardons in a Harvest Salad were cut into overly large pieces, fried too far in advance, and ate like salty rubber erasers. When it's not gritty, the beet salad is still a winner. Pizzas are sometimes served unpleasantly and excessively charred -- not just spots that might be expected on a Neopolitan / Neapolitan style pizza, but whole sections of crust. When 13" diameter pizzas run north of $20, I'd hope for better quality control. There is huge variation in decor from room to room, a legacy of the real estate takeover of the Latin bar next door, perhaps. The original rooms run pubby; newer rooms run clubby. The parking lot is as tight as ever!

Title: "A Gastronomic Nightmare - Stay Away from This Pizza Abyss!" Where do I even begin with this culinary catastrophe disguised as a pizza place? If I could give this establishment zero stars, I would. My recent visit to Soho was nothing short of a dystopian experience in the world of pizza. The menu, oh dear, the menu. A pitiful excuse for a selection that left me questioning if they had ever heard of the concept of variety. It's almost impressive how they managed to make a staple food like pizza so unappealing. The toppings were uninspired, and the ingredient quality left much to be desired. I've had better frozen pizzas from the supermarket. Now, onto the main event - the pizza itself. If cardboard had a taste, I imagine it would be remarkably similar to the crust here. Tough, flavorless, and an insult to the very essence of what a pizza crust should be. The cheese was a sad, rubbery excuse for mozzarella, and the tomato sauce tasted like it came straight from a can of low-budget ketchup. Service? Don't even get me started. The staff seemed disinterested in their jobs, and it felt like they were doing me a favor by taking my order. I half-expected them to roll their eyes when I asked for recommendations, as if my very presence was a burden on their already dismal existence. To top it all off, the prices were outrageously high for the abysmal quality of the food. I've had more satisfying meals from a microwaveable TV dinner at a fraction of the cost. In conclusion, if you have any respect for your taste buds and your hard-earned money, steer clear of Soho. Save yourself from this pizza purgatory and find a more deserving establishment. It lacked the desired crispiness and tasted more like cardboard than a flavorful pizza crust. The toppings, although plentiful, seemed generic and failed to elevate the taste. The service was another letdown. The staff appeared disinterested and inattentive, making the dining experience less enjoyable. It took an unusually long time for our order to arrive, and when it did, the pizza was lukewarm at best. To add to the disappointment, the ambiance was lackluster. The atmosphere felt dull, and the cleanliness of the restaurant left something to be desired. The pizza had a decent crunch to it, and the hot honey added just the right amount of sweetness to the slice. Out of what I had on the sampler, I would say the jalapeño poppers were the best. It has a zest kick while remaining juicy without getting the breading soggy. The zucchini sticks were helped by the dipping sauces, but they were otherwise alright. The mozzarella sticks did need the marinara sauce on this one to let its flavor shine. Service was good. Friendly faces, and we actually had our food carried out to us when they had our order ready. Can't ask for much else. But yeah, while there are some pizzas in CT I would chose over this if given the chance, this is still a good pizzeria that should be proud to be serving the Bethel area.
