I hate to say it but this was so bad that I will never return. Dirty tables and the restaurant was completely empty-absolutely no reason for it- no one was cleaning, food came out slow and was awful- we were literally the only people there and I could hear the microwave beeps as they heated our food. This restaurant was not far from the condo we were staying at when we were on vacation in North Myrtle Beach, so we decided to have a late night sushi date here. We had a late start to our evening and this was one of the few places close to us that kept serving food late (besides just burgers and such) which I liked that they stay open late. The place is a bit small but was clean and had both tables, booths, and a bar. They had a big menu of both sushi and other food items. We tried the chicken gyoza which was a little on the smaller side but tasty and flavorful. We also had a California roll, two spicy tuna rolls, and a yellowtail roll. They were good, but I have had more flavorful rolls elsewhere. Based on the food, I'd give it a 3.5/5 star rating but the service was excellent so I rounded up to a 4. Our waitress was a college student from another country who was in town for the summer, and she took great care of us. She was attentive, welcoming, gave good recommendations, and we enjoyed talking with her about traveling. It was a nice way to end our trip. I would be open to trying more of their other non-sushi items here on a future trip to Myrtle beach. read more

This is my 3rd time coming to this location, and my last time. Food is excellent if it arrives. My wife and I came for dinner and it was slow but our waiter was attentive. There were only 4 or 5 tables filled in the restaurant and it took about 35 minutes to arrive after ordering. Our waiter told us about 1/2 off sushi rolls on Tuesday and Thursday for locals. I went a few weeks later and sat at the bar and ordered a couple of rolls, while waiting a man came to the bar and asked for the manager, which happened to be the bartender. He complained about slow service and the manager totally went berserk. I can't believe they stayed. I told my wife about that and she said maybe we shouldn't go back, but we did because the sushi was really good. We decided to eat there last night, and when we arrived it took took about 10 minutes for the hostess to come up front as she was sitting at the bar chatting with other staff members who were also sitting at the bar. There was only one table occupied about a group of 10 people. We placed our order and began to see about another 7 or 8 tables become filled. After waiting an hour for our food and watching everyone else get their food and finish it and pay, the manager/bartender/waiter apologized and gave us a couple bowls of cold miso soup that was horrible. He tried telling us it was slow due to the table of 10 people, who already had their food before we ordered. We decided to give it 10 more minutes, food didn't show up, so we paid for my 1 beer and left. read more

Soho The kids wanted ice cream so we went to Melt on Main Street and then walking around and stumbled upon this gem. We ordered the tropical wave cocktail and the Georgia peach mule that were both delicious. For appetizers we ordered the bang bang shrimp and the calamari. The flavor on the shrimp was great and the marinara sauce with the calamari was a hit. We ordered 3 sushi rolls crunchy roll, tiger roll, and bang bang roll plus just a small plate of Lo Mein. Everything was flavorful and delicious. Rio was a great waiter. We will be back to SoHo. read more

We are from out of town and we tried to go up there Friday night (5/8/2026) and were told that if we didn't have a reservation we were to wait 1 hour for us to even be attended. Ok so we went to Hoskins up a ways and we had an AMAZING dinner. On Saturday (5/9/2026) we tried again and even called and asked if we needed a reservation and we were going to make one this time before showing up. The lady on the phone said no we didn't need one so we decided to go there around 8 pm after coming from the beach. The restaurant was not full so they proceeded to seat us. We sat there for 25 minutes without anyone tending to us at all. The waitresses and waiters and even the manager saw us sitting there and proceeded to just walk around. Finally we got up and spoke to the manager and he listened and we asked who was on our area and he didn't even know that he would have to check. We waited 10 more minutes and ended up walking out due to the service. Very UNHAPPY customers after all the food reviews. read more

My wife and I ate at Sohos at about 930pm. The food itself was good. Sushi rolls were delicious and the hibachi was good. I had the spicy orange chicken, it was not like typical sticky orange chicken but it was good. My wife had bang bang chicken and shrimp the meal itself was good but her rice was not that good. Our server was not very good. He seemed to be focusing on other things besides serving. I would go back but I would consider other places before coming back. read more

New place in North Myrtle Beach on Main St, we stopped for a bite and outdoor seating which was accompanied by karaoke at Ducks across the street. I was in the mood for sushi and excited there was a local spot with a large variety. Sushi and sashimi with sushi topped with sashimi which I have never had. We were seated right away and were well taken care of by Hannah who was personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. I had a delicious tuna pepper toll with sashimi tuna on top, avocado, and spicy mayo. My dining partner had the crab lagoons filled with crab pieces like neither of us have ever seen or tasted!!! I apologize for diving into rangoons before pic but look at the crab in there!!! I don't know about the other SoHo locations. I only refer to the one on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. The atmosphere is cold and depressing. The food is tasteless and loveless. And the servings are appallingly gargantuan. I've had both the hibachi and the pad Thai and i can't tell you how troubling it is looking as a waste of a mountain of food that lacks taste. It's just awful. You may think you're getting a good value by being served a mountain of food but if it's so tasteless that you leave 80% on your plate, it's not worth it. The sushi is sloppily made, lacks any refinement and also tastes blah. Again I don't know what other Soho locations are like but this place is utterly depressing and wholly dissatisfying. Stay away! Went tonight for an early dinner before a show and never actually got to eat. Sat down at 5pm to order dinner. Started asking where our food was around 545 and was told it was on its way out. There we sat at 630 with still No food. Had to finally just leave. I had to ask twice for it to come to our table. The food was awful. I got French onion soup. I don't know who can screw that up, but there was so much salt in it. It was disgusting. My girlfriend got a dish with sliced fillet mignon. The steak was horrible. It was so tough. She couldn't even chew it filet mignon you should be able to cut with a fork.
