    Kids Mickey pancakes and eggs

Came here for breakfast on a weekday and service was great. Food took a bit to come out but it didn't bother us. Eggs were good but the hash browns were a little salty. Parking is plenty. They have a kids menu. Mine chose the Mickey pancakes and eggs. Super cute.

Really friendly staff, a tad slow overall with service, menu has plenty of options. My kid loved the Oreo pancakes. A bit high on prices for breakfast vs others in the area. My food was good but not amazing.

From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left, we were very well taken care of! They have great coffee options and their breakfast menu has a large assortment of options. The room has several tables, comfy booths and a cute coffee bar. If you're in the Allen area, looking for breakfast, this is a great place to eat! My husband had the regular French toast with a side of hash browns and I had the very berry French toast. Everything was delicious! They also have a large choice of coffee drinks to choose from. I had the Chai Latte and it was the perfect taste to go with my breakfast. Our server was absolutely wonderful as well!

This restaurant might be the best breakfast place I've ever been to! The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, the atmosphere is beyond incredible! We had a wonderful time and absolutely will be a return returning and frequenting customer! Thank you so much for such an incredible experience on Christmas Day!

We visited this breakfast and brunch spot for Sunday brunch on Mother's Day, so it was understandably busy. The place was packed, and we had about a 15-20 minute wait--not too bad for a holiday crowd. We ordered the Bacado omelette and the Mediterranean skillet. While the food took quite a long time to arrive, it was absolutely delicious!!. it would've been nice if the staff had been better prepared for the crowd. I'll definitely give it another try and hope next time they're better staffed to handle busy morning --because the food really was great!

Delightful new diner. My gals and I came for breakfast with baby and enjoyed a long leisurely meal with superb service. Of note our food was super clean and not at all greasy which we really appreciated. No vegan options so I had avo toast which was superb. One companion had breakfast carnitas bowl and said it was really good. Another had apple french toast and called it interesting. We drank coffee, fresh squeezed OJ, and chai lattes. We did find the price point a little high. We realize inflation has been recent and it's hard to balance with prices coming back down shouldn't that start reflecting on menus too. Especially at breakfast which should historically be cheaper. But overall we enjoyed our meal and experience. Loved the staff!!

    Chalk board signs.

I've been twice and have fallen in love with Sofra! The food is delicious with all of the American staples, but also has unique and flavorful Mediterranean dishes that add variety to the normal brunch fare. The service was so friendly. It's a clean and spacious restaurant and is a great place to visit with family/friends or to catch up on some work/reading and enjoy some alone time.

Excellent breakfast and brunch!! All is made to order, very fresh and just excellent. Portions were not over the top and the crepes were perfect for sharing. Coffee is splendid, very nice Italian espresso beans. The hollandaise is very tasty, has a nice caper taste. Overall cannot complain about a single thing. Very kind and generous service, and the setting inside is pleasant and quirky.

Overrated! This is dollar store/temu style of breakfast restaurant and portion. Water down ice tea, thin chicken fried chicken, thin layer of skillets, not fresh pancake, makes you feel like the restaurant is not serving Texas size but rather TEMU, and dollar style by cutting corner. Service is not very attentive without waitress coming to refill the beverage. Will not come back.

Sofra is a hidden gem in Allen! I enjoyed the Senior Breakfast which is just right for a light eater. The ambiance is quaint & inviting. Our server, Chase was attentive & on point. He checked on us frequently assuring we were doing well! I wanna go back to try more of their dishes since this initial experience was a 5-star! Best of luck to Sofra!!

Located in a never-ending strip mall in Allen, we walked in and got our name on the list. It was 11:30 am, so the early church crowd was coming in alongside us. We were told it would be about 30 minutes, but it ended up only being about 10. Inside, Sunview is loaded with Texas décor all over the walls. It feels pretty small, but they definitely take advantage of every corner of the space for seating with their booths and tables. The prices are pretty fair for a brunch spot. One thing that definitely caught me off guard was how many things were on their double-sided menu. It felt like a legal document with how extensive it was. It is definitely overwhelming, but I locked in and ordered a Meat Lover's Omelet. It's filled with bacon, sausage, ham, and American cheese. For my sides, I got hash browns and two pancakes, which is a steal for a $14 omelet. It wasn't long before the food came out, and I crushed the omelet. It needed some salt and pepper personally, but it was pretty good and hearty, especially with the pancakes as a side. The impression from my brother and sister-in-law was that they wanted to come back here often, and I'll probably find myself returning next time I'm in Dallas. RIYL: More meal options than seats at a restaurant.

"For Dad": For the name, the portion size felt a little small and the dish itself is pretty simple. You can choose between bacon or sausage, and the pancakes were fluffy and delicious. One of my sausages was slightly undercooked, but overall the dish was good.

We happened to meet the friendly owner, John, while walking by one afternoon and mentioned we were from out of town looking for a place to host our event. He told us they rent out the restaurant in the evenings. Many of our guests were staying at the nearby Denizen Hotel, which made the location incredibly convenient. I have to say John Zhang and the entire team went above and beyond to make our event special, fun and stress-free. The food was absolutely excellent. I'll admit, I was a little unsure at first since it's known as a breakfast restaurant, but the quality and quantity exceeded all expectations -- kudos to the chef! The drinks were great, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere was so fun and welcoming. As an added bonus, there happened to be an outdoor concert that evening, so many of our guests enjoyed sitting on the patio listening to live music. It made the night even more memorable. Thank you, John and the entire Broken Yolk team, for helping make our daughter's wedding weekend so special. We truly appreciate everything you did to make the Welcome Party such a success!

It's super slow.. there are lots of brunch places around so competition is fierce. Waited 10+ mins to take the order and then they didn't check if we had silverware or enough waters. Food took a while to arrive as well. Had to get creamer and fork ourselves. Hope this helps them work on the service issues. Would love for them to improve and stay around. Hopefully it's because they are still fairly.

We were looking for a good taqueria in Allen and found it here. This is a cozy place with about 10+ tables, playing Mexican music videos, etc. (but not loud enough to interfere with conversation). To try things out, we ordered their grilled cebolla/jalapeño combo, and 4 tacos -pastor, chorizo, barbacoa, & lengua (see photos). These are Mexican Street taco style with 2 corn tortillas. I tried the pastor, chorizo & barbacoa - they were all excellent! Served with onion, cilantro, lime slices and radish slices. Very high quality! I would be happy to eat any of them again, but would probably quadruple down on the pastor because it was just great (and I am a pastor fan - I am still in search of the El Tizoncito style al pastor tacos that you can find in DF, but until I do, these will keep me happy). While I can eat lengua (if I can't find pastor), but my wife is a connoisseur and she liked them (and messaged a friend about them). The Cebolla asados with jalapeños were amazing and an incredible value at ~ $2. We had no chance to try La Sirena (paleteria y fruteria), but it looked very promising. We will be back to try their breakfast offerings. We feel quite fortunate to have found this place.
