Found this spot for my daughter's birthday and we were all happy. The dough is nice and chewy with crispy and gooey cheese on the edges. Custom pies all look great but we went with the enforcer and it was great. The sausage had great flavor without being too salty. They're connected to Tin & Taco for seating which is fun and easy if your group wants to do a mix and match of foods. Very clean inside with staff coming around pretty regularly to make sure you have what you need. This felt like a little something extra since they can't really see you from their counter so they're staying on their feet. Bear Detroit style pizza I've had though, so even a to-go option works here!

I may need to invest in this business because I'm obsessed with their food ! I love the employees and needed a quick bite so I got my two hot dogs with my German bier and left happy and full ! I'll probably be back before the weekend lol

I've been hearing about SoDough Square forever as one of the best pizza places in Orlando... And now that I've been there, I absolutely agree. This Detroit-style pizza is a crowd favorite, and for good reason. It lives up to every ounce of the hype, and gets all of the praise they deserve! The parking situation was easy-peasy (free and in front of the restaurant), but we also went at an odd hour during the day when it wasn't crowded. The restaurant shares a space/dining room with its adjacent taco restaurant (which was also good- we ordered the "trio" of salsa, guacamole, and queso with chips). We used the digital screen to order everything for our order. We purchased a large Detroit Rob City pizza and an order of Detroit Dough Dots. I opted for soda from the taco place, as they had a "Stubborn" fountain soda machine- which I loveeeee. Mixing the vanilla cream soda + cola= a winner. We grabbed a number for the table and they brought the pizza to our table maybe 10-12 minutes later. The goods! 1) Detroit Rob City (large)- I. Loved. This. So. Much. The hot honey. The little pepperonis. The perfect swirls of whipped ricotta. The delightful, golden brown, crispy and crunchy crust. This was absolute heaven. I ordered light tomato sauce, and I feel like that was a good decision. My oh my. This pizza fed my mom and me for 3 days (I ordered a large and had zero clue that this pizza was MASSIVE). This was love. Next time, I'm going to order more hot honey on the side because I couldn't get enough of it! I dream of this pizza. 2) Detroit Dough Dots- made with the same dough they use for the pizza! The dough bites are covered in cinnamon sugar and are served with a side of Nutella. The bites were yummy. Nothing out of this world, but it was a pretty big, shareable portion for the price. I'd order this again. Overall, this pizza was a 10/10. That crust was out of this world. Someone else described the dough as a "labor of love"- and I think that's the ideal way to explain it. Oof. So delicious. I can't wait to come back here for pizza. Also, reheating the pizza in the air fryer was *chef's kiss*- it reheats SO well. Just saying.

I was craving a Hot dog and knew exactly where to go. SoDough Square! The 2 Detroit Coney Dog is my go to order. It is really good. I know I can get a Krombacher beer from Tin & Taco to pair with 2 Detroit Coney Dogs. The service is great. It took less than 5 minutes to get the Hot Dogs and Beer. There is plenty of seating. It is a comfortable spot to eat, drink and relax for hours talking.

Ricotta dollops were clouds of yummy complementing the pie

Unique thick crust pizza, love the whipped ricotta cheese. Small is definitely large enough to share with two people. Sauce was a bit salty to my taste hence 4/5. Good but I have found better pizza in Orlando ;)

Excellent service and outstanding Detroit-style pizza. I ordered the Detroit Rob City Pizza and added olives--unlike many places that charge extra and barely add any toppings, they absolutely give you your money's worth here. Every bite was loaded and flavorful. The Detroit Rob City Pizza was amazing: the pepperoni and sausage paired perfectly with the sweet hot honey and creamy ricotta. And of course, the iconic crunchy square crust was everything you want from Detroit-style pizza--crispy, chewy, and satisfying. Service was just as great as the food. Melissa took excellent care of us--she brought our food promptly, happily grabbed extra Detroit red sauce when I asked, provided to-go boxes, and even offered to cut the pizza into smaller pieces for our son. That kind of attentiveness really makes the experience stand out. Great food, great service, and a great overall experience. We truly wish they would open another location in Lake Mary again--we miss them!

This place absolutely delivers! The food was packed with flavor--every bite of that perfectly crispy, cheesy Detroit-style pizza was on point. You can really taste the quality and care in each slice. The service was just as impressive--friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. This has quickly become one of my favorite Detroit-style pizza spots, and I'll definitely be back for more.

My husband is from Detroit, so we were so excited to check out @sodoughsquare and try their famous Detroit-style pizza! They even have Detroit Coney dogs, which we're already planning to come back for next time. We started with a Caesar salad and garlic parmesan wings (kid-approved -- two thumbs up all around ). Between us and the grandparents, we had to go big and try three pizzas: Rob City -- the viral one with ricotta and hot honey (the star of the night!) Bianco -- a dreamy white pizza with ricotta on top (Ricotta was heaven to me, but kids... not so much. At least mine are great eaters and will try just about anything ) Veggie + Sausage -- my parents' pick, loaded with mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. We left already talking about when we could come back -- no exaggeration. If you haven't been, Sodough Square has three locations -- SoDo, Winter Park, and near UCF -- and it's 100% worth the hype!

First off this pizza place shares a dining area with a taco place. When you go in through the doors for the pizza place, you have to self order. And grab a number. Once you grab a number you need to go to the dining table area and just pick a spot. If you want to order tacos or other drinks, you're welcome to do that from the other side. I think both businesses shared at this common area. When you order your pizza is through a self order iPad system. It is very detailed in case you want to switch out an ingredient or have allergies or what not. Back to food. This is my first taste of the Detroit style pizza. And I loved it. I had the PBJ. Small size / 4 square pieces. Which is their version of a pineapple pizza, but I crossed out the jalapeños. It had an amazing dough and topping ratio. Crispy crust edges. And delivered it in a very cute box with reheat instructions on the side. It also tastes amazing if you decide to eat it cold just not as crispy. We also ordered their garlic sky wings. It's super crispy and juicy. But go for the pizza. Don't get a small size get the large size. Leftovers are amazing. I don't know why I got the small size. That was my mistake. Haha. There's free parking out front . Table and chairs are very stable. Since it is a common area, please pick up after yourself. The staff is very sweet.

YES YES YES! Try this place! You'll be addicted and you can thank me later :)- We stayed in Orlando, 30 minutes away from the place and came here 2x during our 3 day stay. This is probably one of the BEST pizzas I've had, hands down! Private parking lot given the other places in the plaza didn't appear to be opened any more. Our first visit we walked in and ordered at the available kiosks, took a number and sat down to eat there. Our second visit we ordered ahead and picked up. Great quick service. Food is fresh and delicious. Place is clean and plenty of seats available. Pretty much self serve. Staff is friendly. The takeout order was ready when we arrived and all correct. Definitely a MUST when we visit.

I had the fortune to consume this insane pizza when my colleague ordered a few pies for a group. The buzz was on: wait, is that... SoDough?! Apparently this spot is very popular and talked about... and for good reason! I enjoyed my squares so much: chewy, thick, and so flavorful, and with interesting toppings. It was _fun_ to eat, and to look at, and it came in these fun boxes. Artisanal dough? Locally owned? Pizza? All the boxes checked... even the box itself.

Real deal Detroit style pizza here. You order at the counter on a computer screen, grab a number, and seat yourself. The cheesy bread falls in the must order category in my opinion. It's simply elite. A small is good to split between 2-4 people. The large cheese pizza is also excellent. Once again, depending on everyone's appetite it's great for 2-4 people. Fight off your friends for a corner slice!

First time trying Detroit style pizza and this was so delicious! I gotten the Rob City delivered and truly enjoyed the little kick from the hot honey on the pizza! Definitely a good place to try!

Is there a gluten free crust?

Unfortunately, no. Their only gluten free options would be their salads and potentially their hot dogs without a bun.

Do they offer anything to drink, like tea, water or beer? Thanks.

This location is on 535 very close to SeaWorld, and also in a very touristy area. They have opened a few locations around Central Florida. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a drive thru. I think their food is best eaten there so its hot and fresh. Inside their decor is a mix of old timey cars and car hops. It reminds me of a restaurant you would find in the 60s. Its fun, the staff are fun, there is music and they also sell beer. I don't think I have ever really seen a fast food restaurant serving beer. Im sure they exist but I cant think of one. This is a fun environment, the staff calls your order out and then when its ready they use very fun slogans to tell you its time, such as "Order 165 it's time to shine" and "Order 173 come and meet me". This is perfect for families not looking to spend a ton of money and also get a hot dinner or lunch. There were a lot of families in here eating dinner when we went. It is very touristy at this location, the shopping center it is in, also has a White Castle so just be prepared. There were plenty of parking spots though. Portillo's menu is very simple, they have hot dogs, burgers/chicken sandwiches, salads, bowls and Italian beef. However, they are most known for their Chicago style hot dogs. Their Italian beef is very good, they dip the sandwich in a hot au jus sauce. A Chicago dog has mustard, green relish, celery salt, tomatoes, onions, a pickle and peppers sandwiched on the hot dog. This is a meal on top of the hot dog. My wife usually orders the Chicago dog with no onions or relish. I usually go for the Italian beef or one of their salads or bowls. I usually get something different each time. This visit, I actually went with the Italian Sausage and Beef combo served on a hoagie bun. This was a great combo and even my wife mentioned how the sausage was really good and something she would probably get next time. Service is always really great. Everyone is always nice and friendly. Someone is always cleaning the tables, everyone says hello, they are just really great with their service. Drinks can be refilled, you just need to go to the counter if they do not have their own self service machine. I would definitely recommend this chain. The food is great, service fantastic and a fun vibe inside. ACES!

They also offer other options such as chicken, fish, burgers, salads and bowls and Italian beef. The Italian beef is fantastic, it gets dipped in a hot au jus sauce, but you can also ask for no dip as well. Their bowls are not like a rice bowl, it is their beef or sausage minus the bread. This is what my husband usually orders, and he loves it. I usually go for the Italian beef or the classic Chicago dog. A Chicago dog has mustard, the brightest green relish you have ever seen, celery salt, tomatoes, onions, a pickle and peppers sandwiched on the hot dog. This is a big dog! This can be customized any way you want it, remove something add something, it is how you want it. This visit I did order the Chicago dog with no relish or onions. It's how I prefer it. I think I found a new favorite item, I will be getting the sausage next time. The service is really great too, everyone is always friendly. They will give you refills; they call out your number really fun and it's just a great place. They read your order back when you order which I also really like. It is quick service, fast food whatever you want to call it, but they do make it an experience. I would definitely recommend this chain. This is new to Orlando, probably within the last couple years, but it brings a touch of the north down here! I love it! It is loud so kids can be loud. It is not super expensive so its a good meal for the family. There are a lot of items so there should be something for everyone. The only difference is the Portillo's in Chicago also have a huge pasta section which I miss. Their pasta was good! I would love to see it here.

Before my Mom and I went, we checked the closing hours. According to our online search, the restaurant closed at 9:30pm. We weren't far away and confirmed via GPS that we would get there by 9:03pm.
