Well okay... this place has some delicious pizza. Very casual, order at an iPad and they bring it out to you. They share a storefront with Tin & Taco on Michigan. So while they only serve soda... T & T has a nice selection of beer, cider, etc and Stubborn Mule fountain soda. We ordered a Caesar salad and two small pizzas and each pizza came with four slices. More than enough food for our family. The crust is thick (like Sicilian) but so flavorful and not to crunchy. The Detroit Rob came with sausage, pepperoni and whipped ricotta.... Then topped with mike's hot honey.... So freaking delicious. The salad was fine... nothing extraordinary but good croutons. The service was really non existent. I know it's a counter service style restaurant but there was no one bussing tables, checking on our food or anything. That kept them from a five star experience. Will for sure be back. Highly recommend this fast/Casual joint.... Especially if you want pizza but someone else in your group is craving tacos. I've only had Detroit style pizza once, I didn't know what to expect but pizza is life so I went to check them out. It's attached to tin and taco, you walk in and order on the screen. Grab and number and a table until your food is brought out to you. Quick and easy. Or order to go and I will say when I went there a few orders to go. The table area is a shared space with tin and taco. The environment is cool, it's a quick bite style. For the pizza, my kids had extra cheese with bacon. My wife had the chicken, bacon, ranch and me their limited time only BBQ chicken but I topped off with Mike's hot honey. This place is the real deal. I've been waiting to go to this spot for a bit, which was a terrible decision because now that I've gone once I can't wait to go again. Luckily there is a small menu or it would take way too long to decide what to get. We shared 2 "small" pizzas between two people and shouldn't have eaten both of them, but we did. First, we love love loved the OG - it was so good. Perfectly crispy on the outside while still being perfectly chewy on the inside. The sauce to cheese to crust ration was perfect as well. If you're trying to decide which pie to get, this one comes highly recommended. Secondly, we had the "Big Mac Attack" - whoa - that's a lot of flavor on a pizza. For me, I think it's too much on a pizza and the combination of flavors isn't a winner. It definitely tastes like a classic Big Mac, but I'm not sure I need to have that on pizza ever again. My first time have "Detroit" pizza. Solid pizza, fresh ingredients and made to order. They have some good specials on the menu board for larger groups. First, let me start by telling you this would not be my normal choice for style of pizza. I have always thought I was a NY style pizza girl until we went to SoDough last night.... WOW!!! I was so wonderfully impressed with this pizza. I got the one w ricotta and hot honey - heavenly! The hot honey had just enough spice and a little sweetness, the ricotta was fluffy and not over powering - the sausage had great flavor and the crust it was soft but light and amazingly crisp/crunchy on the edges! Hubs got the chicken bacon ranch and added buffalo and it was delish too! The bacon had great flavor... I would get either one again, but also want to try the other options on the menu. Expectations were met! From the dough to the toppings, everything was fresh. We tried 2 different options and we were surprised with the one we least expected (the tenders and buffalo one). So much flavor, it's not as spicy as we assumed, and the flavors are perfectly combined without overpowering. The pepperoni and sausage one was a but disappointing because the way the marinara makes the dough a little soggy. Also, we wouldn't recommend this one, but you HAVE to order the one with tenders. As the saying goes, there's no such thing as bad pizza, except Boboli. What's up with that garbage? Anyway, if you want something a google times better than that, then head on over to SoDough Square. If you're familiar with the SoDo section of town, which is south of downtown (oh, I get it now) and you know where Tin and Taco is, then you know where SoDough (oh, I get THAT now too) is as they share a seating area. The pizza is legit delicious (deligicsios) and definitely worth a try. On my first visit, I got one with cheese and pepperoni, which I had to build myself as this wasn't one of their pre-defined option. Wow, the cheese stalagmites that formed as the cheese bakes crispy in the pan make this a crust you don't want to discard. The brick cheese is delicious (I grew up on brick cheese which I never knew what it really was, and still don't) as is the sauce and dough. The pepperoni was also that small, curled up with burnt edges that you know is quality just by looking at it. On my second visit, I tried the taco pizza as I'm still looking for a replacement for the Pizza Hut Taco Pizza from the 90's which was so good. This wasn't it, but it was still good, but a little messy trying to eat with the thicker crust. I wouldn't get the taco again and would stick to one of the more traditional pizza styles. All the pizzas are square (oh boy I'm dumb, the name makes total sense now) and come in 2 sizes, personal and bigger which seems to be twice the size of a personal. When ordering, there's a touchscreen (just one) at the counter where you order and take a number if you're dining in. Drink wise, they have Faygo soda pop at 2 bucks a can, so I passed as I remember buying a case of that swill for 2.99. Tin and Taco has some other beverages, but you'd need to go and pay for that separately at their registers. I'd go back for sure as the pizza was good. A personal is a tad pricey but on par with Mellow Mushroom on price. I didn't notice the larger price but that may be more economical if your party can agree on a pizza. I feel like I always get the last parking place when I went, so I can see parking as being an issue. So good, and aptly named too, until they open a place north of town. read more

SoDough is cleverly located on Michigan Street and is the best Detroit style pizza in Orlando, and believe me, I've tried them all as my wife is a native Michigander always craving a true Detroit style pizza. My 1st visit in 2022 was around 5pm which I ended up in a line about 10 people deep. By the time I got to order the staff was looking to cut it off as they only had so much dough. My 2nd visit I came around lunch and there was no line. Pizza is very cheesy so be ready for this, even the crust has cheese bake into it. But this is expected of a Detroit style pizza. We made our own pizza, tried the "6 & conant" as well as a cheesy bread. We ate in at the tables next door which I hope was allowed but it seemed everyone was doing it. It was the perfect cheat meal, we ordered the small that comes with 4 deep dish slices. I didn't expect it to be enough for both of us but it was the perfect size to share. Let me tell you the ricotta with honey mix, is all around perfect! I'll be stealing that for my at home pizza making. Hahah. The toppings of pepperoni, sausage and fresh basil were perfect together. The smell when you walk into SoDough is intoxicating. I knew we were in for a treat. The staff greeted us with a smile and a warm hello upon entering. You place your order at the self ordering kiosk which is user friendly, take a number and sit down at a table. It's a shared space with Tin and taco. Detroit style pizza is my favorite type of pizza and the hardest type of pizza to find (especially living in the South). I've had flat out bad Detroit style pizza and I've also messed around with making my own. How was SoDough? Absolutely fantastic. It was perfect. I won't gush too much about this place because I don't want to sound like a weirdo, but man this is some of the best pizza I've ever had in my life. Top 3 for sure. The pizza looks like it would be heavy, but when you pick it up it is oddly lite. It kind of messed with my brain. The edges were perfectly crunchy and addicting to eat. There was fresh basil on everything that gave it a nice pop of fresh. We got cheese bread, a Sweet Sting, and the Detroit Rob City. I'd recommend any of those. I also really like you order with a kiosk and can take some time customizing your order. This place does Detroit style right and if you like Detroit and you're here for Disney/Universal or whatever; definitely swing by. This is a must stop. P.S. I've ordered pizza from SoDough Square both in person and with UberEats delivery and both ways end in a delicious meal! I honestly can't get enough of the crusty burnt cheese edges... so damn good haha. I love how they take the same care with delivery orders as they do with in person, and actually take it a step further by sealing the box with a bright orange sticker so that it would be clear if any tampering was done. I know nothing of "real Detroit pizza" or the authenticity of pizza from any region, really. But I do know that this pizza is absolutely delicious. I don't make it to this side of Orlando often, but I find myself thinking about the delicious, crispy edges of this crustless rectangular pie more often than in should admit. The pizza has the perfect ratio of cheese, to topping, to sauce, to dough. It's thinner than a Sicilian style slice, but still pillowy and satisfying. The red and white sauces are both fantastic. This location is connected to a tin and taco, so you can order from the kiosk and have the pizza brought to the tin and taco side to sit and eat. You can also just order it to go. I had the pleasure of trying this spot during their soft opening. This Detroit style pizza concept comes from the mind behind Tin & Taco which I love so I was very excited to try it. My friends, boyfriend, and I made sure to show up early in hopes of getting our hands on a pie since they are limited during their soft opening hours and have been selling out daily. The inside of the shop is a cozy space with a full view of the kitchen and touch screen to order. I didn't realize there wasn't really eat in space, but they share the dining room with next door Tin & Taco and were happy to bring it over to us. The people working were so friendly and seemed truly psyched about their pizzas. We were shown the 50 pound cheese block they were cutting to add to pizzas and I was immediately in love since cheese is life lol. Our group ordered the Detroit Rob City, The Enforcer, & the T&T taco pizza. At first I felt the price of the pizzas was a bit much, averaging around $16, but these four slices are not typical and very filling so it's easily shareable (or you end up with yummy leftovers like we did!) The Enforcer was a bit to greasy for me with all of the meats, but I am never a big fan of a lot of meat on pizza so that's more my personal preference. My pizza, the T&T was soooo good. It merged my love for tacos and pizza perfectly. I learned the name for the beautiful caramelized cheese crust is frico and it was ridiculously yummy. The leftovers were just as good reheated in the oven. Detroit style pizza isn't too common around Orlando and I've never visited Detroit, so I can't speak for authenticity, but I can say this is darn good pizza and I think it will become a local favorite for sure! read more

Ok so two weekends in a row I found myself here and both times it was fantastic. NO CASHIER :) which I like. There is a screen to place you order and you can customize exactly how you would like and then pay with a tap or swipe. I think this makes it much easier to order and have confidence that the order was placed exactly how YOU want it to be. First trip I did the build your own (4 slice is all that is currently available) and it was too much for just one person. The bread is like a focaccia bread and since it's baked in a pan you get cheese crunchy edges. Second Trip I tried the Chicken Bacon Ranch and it was equally as good as last weeks build your own.
