Crispy, meaty, and packed with flavor. The cashier was patient and gave sound recommendations on the flavors and spice levels. The food came out piping hot and fresh, and my significant other and I devoured all 30 of the wings. She told me these were her favorite wings in Orlando, and I can see why. Everything came out in about 15-20mins, the wings were perfectly fried with a slight crisp just the way I like it. The fries were a bit soggy, I do appreciate that they are fresh cut and not frozen, most wing spots opt for frozen. No frills delicious wings here at Flyers. You order first then sit down. I have been coming here intermittently throughout my entire life here, and same for my husband and his family since the 90's. Staff are friendly, seating is plentiful, and the decor is simple. We love their wings that are always crispy and medium has the perfect amount of spice and we like garlic powder added for ours. I can't visit Florida without having some wings so this time I ventured to Flyers Wings & Grill. Read a few reviews and said... I'm there! My Orlando friends asked what I had for lunch and I told them Flyers in Pine Hills. And they said, "You mean Cr*** Hills? You went there?" Hell, I don't know. I just go to where the food is and it was damn good. Since it was my first time, staff was super friendly and let me know what the menu faves were. My whole meal cost less than $20... 10 wings, curly fries, garlic cheese bread, sweet tea and I was stuffed. The food came out fast... In less than 10 minutes. Lemon Pepper Wings - To repeat what everyone else says, these are the must get wings! Their lemon pepper wings are wet and a perfect balance of crispy, lemony, peppery and moist and saucy. They are not dry rub wings. They were fairly even on doling out drums and flats with my wings. Medium Hot Garlic Buffalo Wings - I loved these wings just as much. Fried to crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside with generous even coats of buffalo sauce that have just a little heat and a good lil' garlic flavor. Bleu Cheese Dressing - Their Blue Cheese wing dip is great. Curly Fries - What's awesome is that curly fries come with every wing order, you don't have to add them as a side. They give a huge portion. I just wish they were fried a little longer so that they were not as soft but maybe it was just my order. Garlic Cheese Bread - Two pieces of garlic bread covered with melted cheese. They slather on the garlic butter on top and toast it until the edges of the bread brown. Really good if you are a garlic cheese bread fan. Sweet Tea - This was typical sweet tea. They do offer free refills, you just need to take your cup to the front to ask for more. When I went it was on a Friday during lunch and the restaurant was packed but there was no wait to sit down. There were people taking their work lunch with co-workers, friends and family, but the most interesting conversation nearby was a mom or youth counselor going to town on her high school kids, telling them things they need to get right in life to survive. The restaurant is homey inside and the workers are pretty quick to clear off and clean the tables as they free up. Parking might be a little tight in their lot if the restaurant is super busy. Flyers has been a staple in our household since I was little. If you've read other reviews, you've probably heard that the old owner retired. That is true, but I can assure you the quality of the wings hasn't gone down. The old owner's son is actually in charge now! Walking in there's a sporty but almost comforting feel. There's a good balance between booths and tables depending on your preference. You'll walk up to the register and place your order. Once you've done that, head on over to a table with your number and wait for your food to arrive. We ordered the Flight for 2 special that brings 25 wings, a large basket of fries, bleu cheese and celery, and two drinks. We ordered an extra basket of fries and an extra drink for my lovely grandma. I don't do spice often, (oh how I wish I could) but the hot wings here are great. They have a great bite to them with just a hint of acidity. (Mom orders them extra wet because she loves sauce) Their curly fries are awesome and usually aren't too oily. What I really have to applaud though, is their bleu cheese. In all my years of trying bleu cheese dips, I've never had one that tastes anything like Flyers. Sometimes, Mom and I will make the drive over here just to get some. It has a good taste without being overwhelming and has a well-balanced thick consistency. This place has lost its way and has gone down hill. This was literally the best place in town for wings and things, and now, not so much. There is literally no service in the dining room what so ever. You can get better food, better service and a better value literally anywhere else, there's no reason to ever come back. My go-to place for wings is right down the road from Flyers, and I've heard a lot of great things about this place so we picked up for takeout. We ordered through the phone and ordered some bone in wings, and also the chicken finger platter. When we arrived, the place was very dark and not offering dine-in due to the pandemic. We came to the register to pick up our order and realized they only charged us for a small order of chicken fingers when we specifically asked for the platter, so we ordered a side of large fries a la carte and paid more. The staff was not the friendliest and were using personal cell phones up front in front of everybody while taking guests and not sanitizing their hands in between. We live nearby so we got home very quickly. The wings were decent but I was expecting a little better. The breaded chicken fingers were dry and tasted old and the fries were very heavy and oily and not crispy at all. Overall we were disappointed and expected much better. We had heard so many good things about this place from fellow Yelpers and were very honestly looking forward to great wings and a good meal overall. It had been mentioned that the building was modest and not much to look at - which was fine by us, as we love a good hole in the wall foodie spot. We arrived early as we were told that parking was tight, and it certainly was. The lot is not adequate for the number of seats they have to offer. Once inside we were seated at a booth towards the back area. It was really cold inside and I went back out to grab a sweater from outside. We overheard that they don't start the AYCE wings until 5 p.m., which we didn't know about and we were there at about 4:30 p.m. We don't mind a wait, but with our munchkin in tow, this presented a new challenge...wait for the AYCE or just order regular? We ordered an appetizer and decided to try to wait it out. Once 5 p.m. hit they put wing orders in, but it still took until about 5:20 p.m. before we had the first round of wings. The wings were crunchy and good, I like the flavors and the bleu cheese was tasty. The fries were not very good, overcooked and had an odd flavor. Not sure why? The tab for two AYCE wings, one appetizer and two sodas came to $50+, which is way too much for a wings and fries meal, so we'd probably just do a normal order if we went again. Overall: B- Maybe we got our hopes up to high, but we felt it was just A-OK and wouldn't do the AYCE again with all the waiting and the parking. read more

We walked in and there was a small line of people waiting to pick up their orders and people placing orders. Because of Covid, they do not have servers. But that was okay because you could still eat there. We placed our order and just waited for them to call us for our order. They had our order to us in less than 10 minutes!! The food was great! I got 7 mild wings, my son got 10 garlic parm wings, my other son got chicken fingers and Curley fries and my husband got fried shrimp and I also got fried mushrooms. All of our food was amazing! Flavor wow! I finally found a solid classic wing offering in the area. The buffalo is perfect and I really appreciate the garlic option to any flavor. The fries are cooked perfectly and the curly makes them nostalgic and fun. I appreciate the accommodation to my Arnold Palmer request for lighter tea. The homemade blue cheese is truly is just that! One star docked cuz I like my wings juicier on the inside while crispy outside but this isn't a spot that requires you ask for well done wings. I've heard about this restaurant when I first got to Orlando, I've never tried it so we're looking at about six years of me literally just driving past this restaurant. Now that I finally tried it with a friend of mine, I didn't miss out on anything it's truly very basic and nothing to go crazy about. You get your french fries in a bag, the fries aren't bad though. However, They are definitely nothing to brag about. The chicken wings was definitely the part that I'm more paid attention to, to me more or less it seems like they just threw them into the oil and then quickly pull them out. You can even tell on the sauce on the honey bbq. They don't completely coat the chicken, So I can tell already got the effort put into making these chickens the best was mediocre. I think there's enough places In Orlando to find better chicken, so I continue to explore. But it was nice to just visit this place and check it out. But again, nothing special read more
