I ordered the 10 piece wing combo with the jerk fries on the same plate; cost about $20 and some change with the half and half sauces I chose on the wings The worker at the front was very friendly and attentive. The locale itself leaves a bit to be desired, but don't let that stop you from taking it to go! Or taking a seat for a second to enjoy a really tasty plate The wings were crispy, cooked nicely and very flavorful. I had the lemon pepper and the garlic parm and both were pretty good. I've been having very oily wings at some other Orlando spots lately, so the lack of greasiness here was greatly appreciated. Nothing crazy, but very good wings and a decent size The jerk fries might be my favorite fries in Orlando! The amount you get is generous, and the jerk chicken chopped up in the dish compliments the fries very nicely. Don't even get me started on the sauce; whatever mix of bbq, jerk sauce and mustard they use packs insane flavor and mixes very well with everything. Let me be very honest about Jerk Man BBQ. I wouldn't necessarily say it's in a sketchy part of town, but the building itself looks sketchy as hell. Like... straight up shack vibes. When you walk in, it still looks like a shack. There's no real seating -- maybe one lonely little booth if nobody's already sitting in it. You order through a glass window, and the menu is literally written in Sharpie on the glass. Also, let me be clear: the wait is long. If you're hungry right now, this is not the place. Don't come starving. Come hungry and let it build, because by the time you're really ready to eat, your food will be coming out. That being said... the wait is 100% worth it. They put real love and care into their food. You get what you pay for -- if not more. Taste-wise and presentation-wise, everything is a 10/10. The food is always on point at this location. The only real issue is the vibe. It's uncomfortable looking, and you might see people standing outside smoking. Honestly, you may want to wait in your car, check back to see if your food is ready, then grab it and go. I'll definitely be back -- just probably during the daytime, not at night. I actually prefer this location because the food is consistently better. The other location feels safer, but the food isn't always hitting like this one does. One of my favorite places to get some jerk bbq!! Definitely shouldn't be slept on! Order hot honey garlic parmesan wings. The wings were cooked perfectly and wasn't too spicy! I also got jerk chicken that came in quarters. That sauce is top tiered. And for a small size, you get a good amount of chicken. Im picky about mac and cheese but theirs are really good! I wish this place was in DC! First off, I'm not a fan of hot food, but this hidden gem was absolutely perfect. I ordered the jerk ribs and wings, and honestly, they were incredible--so flavorful and tender. I also grabbed two pineapple drinks, and once I saw the Rasta figure emerging from the bushes, I knew it was going to be a vibe. The service was quick and efficient, though they could improve the way they alert customers when their food is ready. The cashier assured me the food would be fantastic, and she definitely didn't disappoint. When I arrived at my cousin's house afterward, I had evidence everywhere--so much so that he called me on Mother's Day just to ask for the address! Some places give you more fries than meat, but not here they pack it with so much meat you actually can easily forget the fries are even there. They also have some great wings . They are fried hard and packed with flavor! They have 2 locations. The original location is on Ivey lane and the newest location is in west oaks mall. The customer service and sometimes be hit or miss at the original location. They also have flavored lemonades That is pretty good as well. If you are looking for comfort food that will definitely fill you up and not break the bank check them out. I have been wanting to try this place for a while now. Went to the one on Ivy Lane. Came in on a Saturday it was not busy at all. I placed my order and was told they were out of ribs only rib tips (which I didn't mind) . So I ended up ordering the ribs and jerk fry. Food was ready in less than 5 mins. It wasn't until I got in my car and drove I could tell. The quality of the food was poor. The fries were cold and soggy, the rib tips were chewy. I never understand why people would sacrifice quality for a sale , needless to say I was very disappointed. I ended up trashing the entire plate and having to find something else to eat. read more

The food is soooo very good. I've been here about 3 times so far. I had the chicken/rib combo. I'm not a big fan of ribs in general but the i love chicken and it is always tender and fresh. It was seasoned perfectly. Nice hole in the wall type spot. The only thing that i didn't like was the Mac and cheese. Jerkman BBQ is the definition of a "hood spot." I say this with nothing but love and respect. Being born and raised in the inner-city, I know a thing or two about hood spots. These are the Crown Jewels of the underworld where you find incredible food in unassuming places. The lady behind the counter told me that they are "renovating" when I asked if they made the traditional Jamaican food, like rice and peas, cabbage, cornbread, etc. She said usually on the weekends they might have that type of stuff. (If I go back and they actually renovated, then I'll bump this review to 5-stars). The wait was a good 15min, so I would assume the meals are made to order. I ended up going with the 5 wings with jerk fries special for $14. I felt this was overpriced for 5 small wings and some French fries doused in bbq sauce, but when I tasted it...I was blown away by how good it was. The plan was to order take out, munch a bit in the car, and then re-heat in my air-fryer when I got home. Well, that food never made it home!! I was amazed at the flavors. The wings and fries were fried to perfection, and the sauce mixture was on point. But what out it over the top, was the chopped pieces of jerk chicken thrown of top of everything! Definitely doesn't look like much, I didn't even know about this place and I've been living in Orlando for the last six years. I'm truly disappointed in myself after driving around so many times to find random people doing barbecue at the side of the road. But then lo and behold, I was given this recommendation and they did not mess at all. I'm still giving it five star even though I didn't end up eating the meal until about an hour later so some of the food was already cold. Being Jamaican I have been searching for a spot in Orlando that had authentic jerk and I have finally found it! The first thing that I noticed when I pulled up to the restaurant was that they had a jerk pan outside where they grill the chicken and from that point on I knew it was going to be good.
