Let's be clear. I don't go to Miller's Ale House for the wings…read more I go for the Zingers. And if you know... you know. Miller's is that comfort American spot when you don't know what you want, there's a big game on, and takeout just makes sense. You order the Zingers or -- better yet -- the Zingers Mountain Melt. We're talking crispy chicken tenders layered with melted cheese, applewood smoked bacon, and a mountain of fries. Not just any fries. The good fries. The kind you call home for. That's their signature. That's the heavyweight champ. But today? We're giving the sidekicks some shine. The mozzarella sticks? Elite. Golden, gooey, pull-apart perfection. Honestly, they might be the best supporting actor on the menu. And the wings? Solid. Not life-changing, not Buffalo pilgrimage worthy -- but dependable. Good size, good sauce coverage, crispy enough to hold their own next to the legends on the plate. They're not trying to steal the show... they're just here to make sure the Zingers don't eat alone. Nothing beats a Zingers Mountain Melt with a side of mozzarella sticks -- and if you toss in some wings for the table? That's a game-day spread done right. Miller's isn't reinventing chicken. They're perfecting comfort. And sometimes that's exactly what you need.

Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I've had at a Miller's Ale House…read more I've visited other Ale House locations over the years, and this one fell far below the standard I normally expect. The food was disappointing across the board. My Mountain Melt arrived visibly burnt and tasted burnt as well. My dad's flatbread was pale, undercooked, and unappetizing, while the pasta was watery and lacked flavor. It felt like the dishes were sent out without anyone checking the quality first. The service made the experience even more frustrating. We repeatedly had to ask for the same basic items, and I eventually had to walk to the bar twice just to get drink refills. A manager saw me standing there waiting but never stopped to ask whether I needed help. Our server was also training another employee, but the trainee mostly observed rather than assisting. I understand that training has to happen, especially when a restaurant is short-staffed, but it should not come at the expense of the guest experience. The bill was also incorrect, with extra charges for salads and sides. My dad, who is a veteran and was paying for the meal, also did not receive the expected military discount. Instead, only $0.50 was removed from a bill totaling nearly $80, which added to the frustration. The atmosphere was the same as nearly every other Miller's Ale House: a casual sports-bar setting with plenty of TVs, familiar décor, and a lively layout. It was fine, but nothing about this location's ambiance stood out enough to make up for the poor food, inattentive service, and billing issues. This location would benefit from better kitchen quality control, more attentive service, and greater accuracy when preparing checks. Hopefully it has improved since my visit, but based on this experience, I would choose another Miller's Ale House location instead.

We were at Disney Springs and decided to grab dinner at The Polite Pig. The line was pretty long,…read morebut it actually moved along fairly quickly. When we ordered, we were also told they offer a military discount, which was definitely a nice surprise. After ordering, we were shown to our table and luckily there were enough seats for our whole family because the place was pretty busy. We went with the Butcher Board and got the street corn and sweet tots for our sides. The pulled pork, prime brisket, and smoked chicken were all cooked really well. I thought the meat could have used a little more seasoning, but they have a self-serve BBQ sauce station with different sauces, so we tried a few of those and they definitely helped add some extra flavor. Overall, I would definitely come here again.

The Polite Pig at Disney Springs is good quick service option for barbecue restaurants on Disney…read moreproperty. The ordering process is simple, you place your order with the cashier at the front. During the dinner rush, expect a long line, but it moves at a steady pace. If you visit during off peak hours, ordering is much quicker. After placing your order, you find a table, and a server brings your food directly to you. For our meal, we ordered: Ribs - They had a rich smoky flavor with a perfectly seasoned dry rub, and the barbecue sauce added just the right amount of sweetness and tang. Brisket - The brisket was cooked perfectly with a flavorful bark on the outside and a moist, tender center. Every bite was packed with smoky goodness and melted in your mouth. Sliced Turkey - The sliced turkey was surprisingly moist and full of flavor. It had a light smoky taste and was anything but dry, making it an excellent choice alongside the other meats. What impressed me most was how quickly our food arrived, even with the restaurant being busy. Everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly, the dining area was clean, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. If you're visiting Disney Springs and craving quality barbecue without the wait of a table service restaurant, The Polite Pig is an excellent choice. I would definitely eat here again.
