Italian Sausage Sandwich
Jimmy T.

We were traveling in the Kissimmee area and noticed this restaurant and heard about it through friends. Wow we loved the hot dogs and Italian sausage dogs we got. My wife said her Italian Sausage dog was the best she has had in a long time! Recommendation though; when you order it make sure you tell them all the items you want on it because if you don't it comes plan! I loved my Chicago style hotdogs! Loved the flavor as well as the bread! Everyone was so nice and helpful! Definitely will be back next time we come to this area!

Having lived in Chicago before, I'll vouch this place is legit. Their meal specials highlight their best stuff, but add cake or shake or a cake shake. It's got great music, clean dining area, and friendly, helpful crew.

Portillo's in Kissimmee never disappoints. The food is consistently good, served hot, and always hits the spot. I placed my order at the kiosk, so I didn't have much interaction with the staff aside from picking up my food when my number was called, but everything was smooth and efficient. I ordered the Italian beef sandwich plain with the gravy on the side, and it was perfect. The sandwich was generously packed with flavorful, tender beef, and having the gravy on the side let me control how much I wanted--definitely the way to go. I also got the crinkle fries, which were fresh and delicious, and I ended up finishing every last one. One thing about Portillo's is their consistency. Every location I've visited delivers the same quality experience, and this one in Kissimmee is no exception.

Another fantastic experience at Portillo's!!! My dog and I love coming here especially when there's perks like today a hotdog for $1 that's means we eat more than one! I ordered the Chicago hot dog, chili hot dog, and fries, delicious !!

Small Italian Beef with Spicy Giardiniera

I always enjoy visiting a Portillo's when possible... it's one of those things I just can't get in the DC area, like In-n-Out... So, when I was in Kissimmee I looked and found this one and went. It's about a 15 min ride from the Gaylord in Kissimmee, which is a mile from Disney's main entrance. Service here was great, friendly, and quick. The menu is what I'm familiar with, but all I wanted was a small Italian Beef with spicy giardiniera and a Chicago Dog. Since fries came with it, I wasn't arguing, as they use those crinkle cut fries and they serve them crispy, hot, and tasty! The Italian Beef was incredible, as it usually is! I was in Chicago a few weeks ago and got an Italian Beef from Gold Coast Hot Dogs and it was just ok, I forgot how amazing Portillo's were until getting this one - It Was Great! Very flavorful, tender, and moist meat with a flavorful au jus to dip it into. The giardiniera was fresh, crunchy, and spicy - it made for a great combination with that beef! The bun was so soft and held up to the sandwich and dipping it into the au jus perfectly! Next up was their Chicago dogs - AWESOME! Again, fresh veggies and a great bun. The Vienna beef hot dog was cooked spot-on as well! The place is nicely decorated and kept very clean. I'll definitely return when in the area!

Food was excellent and prices were very good ! Would come back for sure ! Same as eating in Chicago !

The roast beef dip sandwich is to die for. It was truly a step above Arby's on a good day, the saved beef and dip is the best I have ever tasted. Highly recommended! It travels well and the fries are good as well.

At recommendation of my brother in law we stopped for a quick dinner at Portillo! And they are very quick! Enjoyed my Italian beef sandwich! For a quick meal, they offer options that met all of our parties needs which was a win.

Had the double cheeseburger with fries. Burger was huge, good, well cooked patties. Fries are a favorite. Saturday afternoon and kinda surprises me this place is literally empty. Nice outside sitting area as well, about to storm other wise I woulda sat out there. Def be back

Lemon Cake Slice

My brother raved about their chocolate cake. So we went to try it. Ordered through the drive through. They have a nice big drive thru area. Order the chocolate cake and the lemon cake. The chocolate cake was ok. The lemon cake was pretty good. Has a strong lemon flavor but was really moist. The strong lemon flavor is not in a bad way.. but if you don't like lemon cake, you most likely won't prefer it. If i went back to this establishment, i would get the lemon cake slice again.

A cool-looking throwback restaurant in Kissimmee that was recommended, so we gave it a try. I loved the decor, especially the old juke box. While there are several tables and chairs, you place your own order and wait for your number to be called. The sausage sandwich with fries and the hot dog were a hit. The most popular menu item amongst the group was the cake shake. Wow - interesting and rich with flavor. Give it a try and enjoy!

It's a fast food, but ambience it's really pretty, I think one of the best I ever been, also they have draft beers, really hard to find in fast food chain. Good music, good service. Ordered the beef sandwich with peppers and onions, really good, wish I got more peppers because were so good. For the price you can't beat, also have hot dogs and other options. Never tried but they do catering.

I grew up in this area and it's really cool to see all the new restaurants. We first discovered Portillo's in Chicago and it was delicious. It's really cool to have one in Kissimmee and there's even Kissimmee/florida art and pictures all over the restaurant. What a great way to pay homage to the roots of it's location. Service here is similar to Chick-fil-A. You can use a kiosk or order at the counter. When your food is ready they call your number. All of the staff are very friendly. The restaurant is very clean and spotless. My go-to item is the Chicago dog! I love the toppings. To go with my hot dog, we get a large fry to share. You can't get a hot dog and fries without a large soda. Some other items on their menu are burgers, fish sandwich, chopped salad and beef sandwiches. They even have a new vegan hot dog. Recently we tried the beef sandwich and you can't go wrong with this juicy meet packed sandwich. Make sure you get the dipping sauce. For extra you can get peppers. If you are really daring you will have to get cheese sauce for your fries!! I'm always too full for dessert but if you really want to go all out.. they have some delicious looking cakes. While they don't carry kids meals, the food is very reasonably priced. I think Portillos is the perfect family environment.

Drinks were expensive and we were not really feeling smoothies with rice bowls that day so I cannot comment on their smoothies. Just to be upfront! Mom made her own small bowl: rice, chicken and a few other things. She also got the avocado sauce for her topper. She said the bowl it was good, but has had better & the avocado sauce was just ok. Son got the Big steak teriyaki bowl = brown rice w/ parsley, broccoli, carrots, onions, green peppers, teriyaki sauce | recommended w/ gulf shrimp *protein not included. Steak was cooked perfectly medium and tasted good. He said he could've used more teriyaki sauce. They only give you one small sauce and you have to pay for more. The portion, for him was too small and he didn't want me to pay for another as he stated it isn't a good food to value ratio. So Proud!!! I requested the Bangkok = asian garlic noodles, shredded kale, mushrooms, onions, almonds, teriyaki sauce | recommended w/ fire braised chicken thigh *protein not included Again the sauce, the bowl was good I got mine with the blackened chicken. The noodles just absorbed the sauce in seconds. 3 stars is for the small amount of drink options. They really want you to buy a smoothie so they can get 20$ a person. A 6$ smoothie just isn't our drinks and too little sauce for us. Breakdown: Decent food to value ration. It was 45$ for the 3 bowls and 1 drink. Not too bad by today's standards, but if your like us and love your condiments do yourself a favor and buy a second sauce!!! AS ALWAYS TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!

Peach Valley Cafe came up as an option and we all decided to try it. It's in the same plaza as Publix, Celebration Brewing, and Jeff's Bagel Run. The cafe is closer to Publix and Jeremiah's. There's plenty of parking - usually you can find a close by spot as the restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch I believe. We've gone twice and were seated quickly. Staff have been friendly and on top of things both times we've gone. I tried the chocolate chip pancake and added a side of scrambled eggs and bacon with it on my first order. Pancake is large enough to share or split between multiple meals. I thought the texture was good, the chocolate chips were a bit too sweet for my liking. The scrambled eggs were okay - maybe a little off cooking-wise but the bacon was crispy. Second time I did the all-American sandwich with eggs, bacon, and swapped out the American for cheddar cheese, with the biscuit as the sandwich. This was very good and the right amount of food. Prices were reasonable and timing for the food was good. They really try to get the food out quickly, which is great.

The restaurant itself is pretty big, and from the moment you walk in, you can tell there's a lot going on. It has two floors, a stage where they have live music, and they're open late, which is always a plus when you're looking for somewhere to hang out after dinner. They also have a great happy hour with both food and cocktails. The cocktail of the month when we visited was the Hurricane. If you like your drinks on the sweeter side, you'll probably really enjoy this one. We tried several things, including the shrimp cocktail, mussels, and different bites from the menu. Everything was good, but the highlight for me was definitely the size of the shrimp! They were HUGE. If you're looking for a good protein option, this is definitely worth trying. The shrimp were $2 each, and I ordered three, which was the perfect amount for me. Our party of six arrived toward the end of the day when the restaurant was getting ready to close, but the waiter was still super friendly and professional. I really appreciated that because sometimes you can feel rushed when a restaurant is close to closing, but that wasn't the case here. Our food also didn't take long to arrive at the table and it was fresh. Overall, I had a great experience. Between the location, the late hours, happy hour, live music, drinks, and variety of food, this is definitely a place I would recommend checking out if you're in the Margaritaville area of Kissimmee.

I'm so glad we listened because each of the items were beautifully presented, and so so delicious. We started with the tuna pizza, mainly because we were curious, and that was the most unique take on pizza/seafood in my opinion. The tuna was so fresh, the garlic aioli complimented very well with the crisp cracker/crust. I had the Ette Norwegian Benedict and was very happy.
