This was a great find while in Kissimmee. I'm always trying to find something different that's not by my home . The prices are reasonable and the portions are quite large for the food. The beverages also are pretty well priced. However, I did not try the alcoholic one this time. The crescent rolls with him y butter were to die for. The first batch is complimentary and you can order more for only 1.99. We ordered the fries cheese bites which was similar to mozzarella sticks and was quite tasty. You can order meals that come wit a side or special. I ordered steak with caramelized onions and a broccoli and cheese side with a baked potato and had left overs to take home was pretty juicy with the sauce and dip. My son ordered the fries steak with loaded fries which he said a little bit too much breading for him but was still a big portion so enough. His GF ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. Thrlere were four of them so also leftovers. Even though I was stuffed I had to order th fried apple pie which I took to go for later with the homemade vanilla ice cream both so delicious . It was late near closing but still patrons eating there. The food took a little longer than anticipated to come out it probably because it was too late. I wish they had one of these near my back home . As I looked it up , there is one in Miami and I e in Hollywood about half hour from me. This is defienekty a great restaurant to go to on a budget or just to save from being on vacation and everything . I will be heading there again for sure . read more

Went for Sunday lunch with the fam! Food- everything we ate was delicious. We got the 3 app( tenders, spin dip, curds), burgers, fish lunch, and pasta. All were well seasoned and huge portion sizes. And, those starter breads were too tasty. Service - Abraham took great care of us. He was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and super friendly. Vibe - casual and cozy. Good for families and friends. Space-the space in huge. Nice bar area. Lots of tables and booths available. And sunroom too. read more

I have always experienced good customer service from this location. The prices are good and their menu is pretty broad. I like a variety of foods from their menu, including their white fish with the red beans and rice, keywest chicken and shrimp, or their burgers. The food always goes down even better with their $6.99 Margarita specials. Family friendly environment for all ages. read more

I absolutely love Cheddars. They have so much to offer on their menu. The service is always good and there is never a wait. I'd recommend eating any of their chicken tenders or fried shrimp as it's very tasty. However, last night I tried their bourbon salmon and shrimp and it was very tasty. I also think their portions are reasonable along with their prices. I went out with another person last night and for two meals and two drinks our total came under $40, which is crazy in today's economy. read more

We came here for dinner on a Sunday night. I had been to a Cheddar's in Tampa and wanted my cousin to try it. I really enjoyed my last visit. Our servers name was Matt and he was phenomenonal. He was very friendly and attentive. We ordered around of drinks to start. Both were really good and not too strong. The restaurant gives you crossaints drizzled in butter for the table. Chef's kiss! I got a combo of chicken and steak with mashed potatoes and corn for my entree. My cousin got fried fish with red beans and rice which he loved. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert. The experience was great. We definitely reccomend for the service alone but the food was great too! read more

I hadn't been to one in many years. MANY options, lunches are down right inexpensive and lots of options. Food was good

I'm not sure if this is just an east coast place but with our first visit it was great. Reading the reviews, the honey croissant is what got our attention. I believe it's a chain as well. The service right when we walked in was great. Friendly hostess which is always a good start. We got seated a few minutes after arriving which was great. Even on a Friday, it was a long wait. Well, we made it before the rush. Arthur, I believe that's his name was our main guy. Took very good care of us right from the start. Friendly and efficient. Menu does have a wide array of selection. Oh, it's very affordable btw. The drinks were great and of course affordable as well. Everything we had was great, as the croissant were excellent. Glad it was a stop we made. read more

Cheddars Scratch Kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants! Stopped by one day for lunch and decided to try something new! I got the Monte Cristo Sandwich, I had never had this before so I had to try it! It's a sweet ham and turkey sandwich that is fried and has raspberry sauce, sooooo good! While I was waiting for my sandwich to arrived the waiter dropped off some honey butter croissants and OMG let me tell you how I could make that a whole meal! The honey butter croissants are to die for! Can't wait to come back! read more

Food was very good, prices very fair. Service was the worst. We spent a long time waiting for the male server to stop speaking with two female guests We were the only other table in his section. He did not return to the table until I went to the front to seek him out and then another staff had to go find him. He did not come but the manager did. The manager was very nice and immediately got our food. Other tables came quite a while after us and got their food. Two orders were not correct and we just cancelled one as we were already running late to get to the airport. Again the manager tried to make it better but the damage was done. Sorry read more

Service at cheddars is always good, friendly and fast. It is pretty loud at this location the music seems louder than usual (im ok with that, but if that's not your thing maybe another location? ) I love cheddars for their honey butter croissants & their carrot cake as a dessert! Taking off one star because food wise I've been here maybe 3 times and i just can't seem to love the food. I've tried the Alfredo pasta i appreciate the sauce being homemade however it's never enough sauce the noodles are kind of dry. I've also tried the homemade tenders and not my fav either, there's more breading around than actual meat. The mash potatoes were OK and you can't go wrong with French fries . I hear their ribs combo is really good. Overall a decent restaurant if you're looking for something causal I'll be back for the honey butter croissants though lol read more

Food was not good. My burger was raw. My husbands steak was very rare. My extra crispy fries bent in half they were so soggy. Ate what we could, paid and left. Never again. On a positive note my margarita was very good for 5 bucks. Out waitress was nice too. read more

The service was horrible . As soon as a big Caucasian party was seated our waitress completely ignored us . She made joke with the other party was way more polite and just treated us like we were a bother. She explained to the big party that she would bring them bread and if told them if they wanted more they would have to pay . Never gave my table the courtesy to have a second helping of bread . I asked for napkins and still didn't receive them ! She asked the other party to call her Momma Mia , laughed and joked with them up until we left ! read more

My favorite part of dinning here is getting warm and fresh out of the oven buttered croissants. They are flaky, buttery, and sweet. They serve you one for each person but you can order more for an up charge. We decided to try the cheese curds and they were so good! It was a bit salty for my taste but still so good. It is always busy here but you can join the waitlist from the app on your way to the restaurant. read more

Five of my family including myself went to the Cheddar's on North Research in Austin last evening. Even though they were quite busy, we were quickly ushered to a table in the porch like area with other groups. Our pleasant waiter efficiently supplied our drink orders and shortly brought our delicious meals. We were never hurried and spent a pleasant evening as we have so many times at Cheddar's. We always seek out Cheddar's as we travel to other cities because we can plan on a pleasant experience. Rob F. read more

Overall, a nice place to eat. Very affordable as well. Had a party of 6. We got some drinks, app's sampler, main dishes. Pros - app sampler is good for 3-5 people. Chicken fingers, chips, x3 dips (salsa, spinach-artichoke, queso). You can request more chips; As soon as you sit down , you get these sweet croissants. Family devoured them Drinks - absolute watermelon drink and painkiller were good. For only $7-$8. Not really on the strong side but you get s nice big fancy drink. Cons - food is good but obviously nothing great. Lemon pepper chicken was a bit bland but cooked well. My wife has chicken fried steak - was decent. The others had 1/2 rack ribs, grilled cheese kids meal. All good but nothing stands out. Overall very happy with the meal, service and value. You pay right at the table which is a nice feature via some tablet thing. We will be back as its a very affordable and at 5pm on a Saturday, no big crowds yet. read more

We had just arrived in Orlando after a full day of travel and found Cheddars! Our server was so welcoming not only to Cheddars but to the whole state of Florida! She gave us suggestions on what to order and where to visit while in FL. The starter croissants were delicious with the honey butter melted on top. The portions were large, my boys loved the cheddar broccoli casserole. I ordered a salad and unfortunately the lettuce looked old and brown, but my cup of loaded potato soup was one of the best soups I have ever had! Great choice for the whole family! And a perfect way to start our vacation! read more

First time visiting this restaurant. Haven't been able to go my last few visits to Orlando but this time made the stop while visiting. About a 35 min wait on a Saturday night. It was very busy. Server was friendly. The croissants were a nice touch. The salmon was just okay. Cheeseburger was good per my dining partner. Overall I'd rate Cheddars a 3 out of 5. Nothing special but I'd definitely visit again when in Orlando. read more

All the cheddar's are the same, you have to know the day to go there. When they are busy, you will wait a little bit more to sit, but the ribs will be delicious. Week day, the ribs are dry. If you have a nice server, you food will be delivery on time, and you eat hot and delicious food. If not, prepare to eat cold food. Sometimes they serve me the meat the way I want (medium), sometimes they don't (well done). Anyway, I will always come back there, if I don't have any new restaurant to know, because I know that the food tastes really good. Painkiller is good. Caesar salad good. I always order the top sirloin with broccoli casserole, amazing! Dessert, boring. read more

We used to come here periodically over the years but have not been within the last year. We were pleasantly surprised to see that our favorite female bartender was still there. She is always friendly and smiling, very attentive and works hard. I love Cheddar's house-fried tortilla chips served with queso and house-made salsa for $5.79. They could add a few more chips. Why does there never seem to be enough? I remember years ago when I would come to Cheddars, you would get a larger bowl of queso and salsa. They have definitely downsized since then. We love Cheddar's food because its all freshly made and their prices are very reasonable. This visit I ordered something I wouldn't usually order when dining out, the Homemade Chicken Pot Pie and a side salad for $9.99. It was creamy and extremely hot inside, as pot pies usually are. The crust was very flaky, and it was packed with veggies and chicken. Great comfort food. My husband ordered, what he always orders, grilled white fish over rice. It's served with two sides for $11.79. He chose two veggies thinking he was going to start eating healthy during the holidays. Silly boy. :) This is however a great meal. I've had it myself many times. They serve two nice size pieces of fish that are moist and flakey. The carrots were extremely sweet and tender. Since it is the season of giving, I was happy to learn something I didn't know before; every week they donate unused food to the local food banks. I often wondered what happened to excess food from restaurants. I love knowing they aren't wasteful and care about people in need. read more

I though I would give this restaurant another shot since the last time I was here was about 4 years ago. Which was a bad experience. Service is not the best. You can tell that the entire staff is off. No one is synchronized. Our waiter was an older lady kinda of rude. Barely came to our table. Cheddars gives a feee appetizer. It's a croissant drizzled with honey. Sounds good right? Not at all! Croissant is heated in a microwave. I ordered the Ribeye my wife ordered shrimp pasta, it was tasteless. No flavor no seasoning what's so ever. Grateful that the manager competed our meal and our kids meals. This place is just not consistent. read more

Okkk... Nothing much to write about. We were quick to get seated but took a long time before our waitress came by to introduce herself or take drink orders. She was friendly though. I believe she comp'd us some honey butter croissants because the wait time, which was nice. She also was accommodating with my drink request. Our food took a while to come out and mine was pretty mediocre. It Lacked flavor and chicken strips were a bit soggy. Some of my French fries were undercooked too. Honestly I could've made it better at home. The rest of my family seemed to like their food, so maybe it's just what I ordered (buffalo chicken wrap). Meh, I don't know if it'd be worth visiting again. read more

This is hard. There were so many pro's & cons. Let's start with the good stuff: Nice atmosphere & friendly service. I shared a huge pineapple & creamy coconut drink that tasted like Florida sunshine. The bread service is warm croissants drizzled with honey butter. The kids had yummy burgers (very good meat mix) & I had a vegetable plate. The carrots are to die for, they taste like sweet potato casserole drenched in butter & brown sugar. Yummmm yummmm oh my yumm. The issues: This place is homey & comfort food, but it's soo imbalanced with high sugar & salt content...yikes. I can't fathom returning anytime soon. You have to be completely tone deaf on your own health & nutrition to patronize it more than once in a very long while. One of my picks was red beans & rice. It had sausage in it (fine, but it should have said that on the menu or the sever should mention it.) It was so salty, I had to send it back. I also got broccoli & cheddar casserole. It was tasty, but Sooooo unnecessarily cheesy. Someone else got chicken fried steak. They complained how it was all breading & no meat. Overall-the dishes don't have to be that fat/salt/sugar laden & even though I enjoyed overall, it was also a turn-off at the same time. read more

Recently we visited this Cheddar's location for a birthday party. There were several families totaling around 30 people. The staff provided great leadership and care in preparing for our party including calling ahead to verify final details on the day of party. Thank you to Pat who graciously accommodated our large party of 30. My daughter's volleyball team came up for a volleyball tournament and decided to have a farewell dinner here since we don't have a Cheddar's back home (we're from Hawaii). They tried to squeeze us into 3 booths and a table of 10, but it was much too cramped for that. We saw a 4 top open up and she graciously let our party have it. Extremely grateful for that. Once again, thank you so much Pat! Your warm disposition and hospitality prompted me to leave this amazing review. read more

The honey butter croissants were amazing, Our server was super nice! Hubby had herb roasted chicken, said it was good. Our son had the chicken tenders platter, they were tasty.
