The beverages also are pretty well priced. However, I did not try the alcoholic one this time. The crescent rolls with him y butter were to die for. The first batch is complimentary and you can order more for only 1.99. We ordered the fries cheese bites which was similar to mozzarella sticks and was quite tasty. You can order meals that come wit a side or special. I ordered steak with caramelized onions and a broccoli and cheese side with a baked potato and had left overs to take home was pretty juicy with the sauce and dip. My son ordered the fries steak with loaded fries which he said a little bit too much breading for him but was still a big portion so enough. His GF ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. Thrlere were four of them so also leftovers. Even though I was stuffed I had to order th fried apple pie which I took to go for later with the homemade vanilla ice cream both so delicious . It was late near closing but still patrons eating there. The food took a little longer than anticipated to come out it probably because it was too late. I wish they had one of these near my back home . As I looked it up , there is one in Miami and I e in Hollywood about half hour from me. I absolutely love Cheddars. They have so much to offer on their menu. The service is always good and there is never a wait. I'd recommend eating any of their chicken tenders or fried shrimp as it's very tasty. However, last night I tried their bourbon salmon and shrimp and it was very tasty. I also think their portions are reasonable along with their prices. We came here for dinner on a Sunday night. I had been to a Cheddar's in Tampa and wanted my cousin to try it. I really enjoyed my last visit. Our servers name was Matt and he was phenomenonal. He was very friendly and attentive. We ordered around of drinks to start. Both were really good and not too strong. The restaurant gives you crossaints drizzled in butter for the table. Chef's kiss! The service right when we walked in was great. Friendly hostess which is always a good start. We got seated a few minutes after arriving which was great. Even on a Friday, it was a long wait. Food was very good, prices very fair. Service was the worst. We spent a long time waiting for the male server to stop speaking with two female guests We were the only other table in his section. He did not return to the table until I went to the front to seek him out and then another staff had to go find him. He did not come but the manager did. It is pretty loud at this location the music seems louder than usual (im ok with that, but if that's not your thing maybe another location? ) I love cheddars for their honey butter croissants & their carrot cake as a dessert! I've tried the Alfredo pasta i appreciate the sauce being homemade however it's never enough sauce the noodles are kind of dry. I've also tried the homemade tenders and not my fav either, there's more breading around than actual meat. The mash potatoes were OK and you can't go wrong with French fries . Terrible place. I do not recommend. All the silverware and plates are dirty. They need a new dish wash machine. The glass cups are so cloudy and dirty. The employees will serve you dirty glasses. Family devoured them Drinks - absolute watermelon drink and painkiller were good. For only $7-$8. Not really on the strong side but you get s nice big fancy drink. Cons - food is good but obviously nothing great. Lemon pepper chicken was a bit bland but cooked well. My wife has chicken fried steak - was decent. The others had 1/2 rack ribs, grilled cheese kids meal. All good but nothing stands out. Overall very happy with the meal, service and value. We had just arrived in Orlando after a full day of travel and found Cheddars! Our server was so welcoming not only to Cheddars but to the whole state of Florida! She gave us suggestions on what to order and where to visit while in FL. The starter croissants were delicious with the honey butter melted on top. The portions were large, my boys loved the cheddar broccoli casserole. All the cheddar's are the same, you have to know the day to go there. When they are busy, you will wait a little bit more to sit, but the ribs will be delicious. Week day, the ribs are dry. If you have a nice server, you food will be delivery on time, and you eat hot and delicious food. If not, prepare to eat cold food. Sometimes they serve me the meat the way I want (medium), sometimes they don't (well done). It's served with two sides for $11.79. He chose two veggies thinking he was going to start eating healthy during the holidays. Silly boy. :) This is however a great meal. I've had it myself many times. They serve two nice size pieces of fish that are moist and flakey. The carrots were extremely sweet and tender. Since it is the season of giving, I was happy to learn something I didn't know before; every week they donate unused food to the local food banks. Recently we visited this Cheddar's location for a birthday party. There were several families totaling around 30 people. The staff provided great leadership and care in preparing for our party including calling ahead to verify final details on the day of party. That night their staff was amazing with such a large party. You would have thought they do this all the time. They provided two servers and they provided AMAZING customer service and met everyone's needs in a timely manner. We spoke to one of the servers and she told us she loves to serve. This is hard. There were so many pro's & cons. Let's start with the good stuff: Nice atmosphere & friendly service. I shared a huge pineapple & creamy coconut drink that tasted like Florida sunshine. The bread service is warm croissants drizzled with honey butter. The kids had yummy burgers (very good meat mix) & I had a vegetable plate. The carrots are to die for, they taste like sweet potato casserole drenched in butter & brown sugar. Yummmm yummmm oh my yumm. The issues: This place is homey & comfort food, but it's soo imbalanced with high sugar & salt content...yikes. I can't fathom returning anytime soon. You have to be completely tone deaf on your own health & nutrition to patronize it more than once in a very long while. One of my picks was red beans & rice. It had sausage in it (fine, but it should have said that on the menu or the sever should mention it.) It was so salty, I had to send it back. I also got broccoli & cheddar casserole.
