This place was perfect for a late night bite and a few drinks. The atomsphere was very relaxed and the service was great. The bartender was extremely friendly. I was glad that I could get a gluten free pizza there. We were very surpised at the amount of french fries that came when we ordered the truffle fries. They were just a tiny bit too salty. It also is so far away from guest rooms and not very well lit at night on the way there. I think that needs to be improved a little bit. All in all it was a good experience and if I ever find myself staying at the resort again I would have no issue eating here again. read more

We ate in the bar area after playing golf. Seating was comfortable and TVs were available to enjoy sports or whatever we wanted to watch. Food was ok but unfortunately nothing special. Beer on draft was cold and served in a cold glass. Service was friendly and our server was always available. The restaurant in the bar area had large windows that had a view of the golf course range area. This place is on property which makes it convenient. Ok so we tried again, this time I asked the waiter if it came with vegetables. He assured me it did. Food comes out...no vegetables. Also no waiter, didn't see him the rest of the meal until it was time to get the check. He was helping with take out meals. But no one covered his tables. It would be almost comical but I think this points to a bigger issue with staff and kitchen communication. Customer service = -0 Waited to be seated. There was no line to get in. Several staff walked past me and never acknowledged or greeted. There were several open tables but had not been cleared of dirty dishes. After 10 minutes a man came from the back and asked if I was picking up an order. I said no I wanted to dine in. He said oh, let me clear some tables I'll be back. Meanwhile there were 3 servers moving about the room. Once seated a woman approached and asking from a few feet away from the table whether we wanted something to drink and did we know what we wanted. At this point nobody said welcome or hello. When she reached the table I answered. I noticed a gentleman going from table to table greeting and conversing with the other guests. Nobody came to our table, nobody checked whether our meal was good, nobody refilled our waters, never saw our waitress until she brought the bill. The past three days we went for lunch and had the same exact thing, Vegetable medley, garden salad, sweet potatoes , A fruit salad, and a hamburger. The hamburger was medium rare, cooked to perfection. The french fries that came along with it was crisp with just enough salt. The vegetable medley was surprisingly delicious, the garden salad is the typical salad and the fruit salad was very good as well. Not overly impressed with the food. Actually a bit disappointed. We ordered the short ribs which were a bit fatty, when we did get in a few bites there were some decent meaty bites the rest fatty. Ok, to give some credit.. the iceberg lettuce wedge and 4 oz filet was the best part of the meal... steak was cooked to a perfect medium, though the iceberg lettuce needed a little help.... All kinds of junk on it.... Tomato slices, tons of bacon, a pepperchini or two, there might have been some shredded cheese on it? I was expecting a wedge with diced tomatoes, sprinkled with bacon, diced cucumbers and maybe a sprinkle of shredded cheese... not the case either. I give it a 3 stars mostly because of the service. The bartender was our server as we were sitting at the high chair tables by the bar. He was attentive, got our drinks quickly. With refills, brought our food out, got us all of the items that we asked for promptly. Would I eat here again, probably not! Especially with all the local restaurants that offer a much better menu. First time here. Nice, but casual place since it's located at Mystic Dunes golf course. The server was somewhat matter of fact and curt, but efficient. Really enjoyed the braised short ribs. Next time I will leave off the red peppers and pearl onions. The dish didn't need either flavor, IMHO. Happily surprised to see battered French fries came with Mike's burger. There was nice live music with a talented singer and her accompanying sax player since we were there on Friday night. I would say overall the food was pretty good but I would say our server was fairly good in terms of execution but he came off as somewhat not friendly, didn't get a good vibe from that we were welcomed, more so he just wanted to leave his shift which I get because we were eating towards closing time but still the unwelcoming vibe from him was somewhat not pleasant. Oh my gosh where do I start... Came in late last night checked in super late, tired & hungry. Jim Butler, the bartender at Kenzies, was still open and got us pizza and nibbles and drinks. I was so tired I didn't realize I'd left my purse behind and we were one of the last people to leave. Could you say I was panicked all night not knowing how or if my purse was still there??? I got back to the restaurant as soon as I could the next morning after a soccer tournament and come to find out (through Kenny the manager) that Jim did indeed find my purse, stashed it behind the bar, locked it up and texted the manager that night that my purse was there safe and sound!
