A menu full of misspelled words that I'm not sure are there as a joke or on purpose. But the we ate. Started with the oysters as an appetizer. Some were still a little frozen but still very good. My daughter and her friend split a boil bag. I got the pleasure of helping them finish. Shrimp, mussels, clams and crab along with sausage, an egg and corn on the cob soaking in a broth which included better and garlic. How could one go wrong? I had the seafood salad which included plenty of various sea items. It, too, was really good and filling. The service was good. The building was clean and well maintained. Solid choice, no wait for dinner. Waitress was extremely friendly and since it was our first time here, explained the menu. The special combo was a ton of food! I couldn't finish. The decor is a little touristy, but the food is very good with a lot of options. They'd be great for a group as well. The service was great and our waiter was very nice and patient with us. Here on spring break, we went to Crazy Crab. As we were placing our order, my daughter asked if they cooked the chicken and fries in separate oil from the seafood? One of my granddaughters is allergic to seafood, she carries an EpiPen. The waitress said, EVERYTHING is cooked in the same oil!! I must say the little crab mascot is CUTE... too bad he's quite TASTY as well, lol. Ordered 3rd party delivery from here multiple times with different combinations of Mussels, Sausage, Shrimp, Crawfish, Snow Crab, Scallops, and they were all delicious. The Garlic Butter Sauce is good but I feel the Crazy Crab Special Sauce has a little more flavor to it. Got the spice level extra hot and it was easily manageable (for me). I was craving a seafood boil and this place delivered. From the crazy crab house sauce to the garlic butter everything tasted amazing. Even the calamari was delicious. They had a happy hour too which I truly appreciated. The drinks were just okay! But this boil was one of the better ones I experienced here in orlando. The waitress was super kind and always made sure we had what we needed. The theming of the restaurant is exactly what you would expect, cheesy and sea themed but couldn't be mad at it. Boil was just ok, really no flavor or sauce and my daughter ordered it with 2 sauces (Cajun & garlic butter with mild sauce). My scallops seemed to be from frozen but were ok for frozen. I'm totally impressed with Crazy Crab. My family and I were looking for a seafood spot in Orlando. And we came across, this newly opened restaurant. The entire restaurant, is well decorated and very spacious. Love how friendly the entire staff , they were very accommodating. Our party, consisted of 5 adults and 3 kids. So it was quite alot, to keep up with. The kids got there meals first, which was really good. And the adults order there own seafood Platters, aside from The fresh seafood there's something for everyone the offer other options on the menu, for those folks who don't eat seafood. We went tonight and asked if they could seat us next to one of their TV's so we could watch the NBA finals and they said yes and accommodates us without issues. We ordered Fried Calamari as an appetizer. The sauce that accompanied the calamari was a delicious sweet and sour sauce, however the calamari didn't taste as fresh as I would have expected. We also ordered Seafood Combinations for dinner. I got the pre-set Seafood Combination 1 which had Snow crab, Mussels, No head Shrimp, Sausage, Corn, and Potatoes (Mild with Crazy Crab Seasoning) this was delicious. My husband built his own Seafood Combo which had Mussels, Scallops, and No Head Shrimps, Corn and Potatoes (Very Hot with Cajun Seasoning) he enjoyed it as well. My daughter and son-in-law had the pre-set Seafood Combination 2 which had Lobster, Snow crab, Shrimp, Sausage, Corn and Potatoes (Mild with Cajun Seasoning) delicious. All seafood combos had fresh seafood and they were all delicious. For dessert we tried their Key lime pie and NY cheesecake. The cheesecake was delicious, however the Key lime pie was a bit to sour and the crust had an after taste. I was hesitant because of some of the reviews saying they got "food poising" but after seeing the place, how they cook, and eating their food, I'd assume that the "food poising" they had was beach sickness or overheating. Everything was super clean, the staff were attentive and friendly. We went at 7 on a Friday and just expected to wait for a table for four of us. But not at all. We were sat immediately, got our drinks, and ordered an appetizer. The food came out super fresh in their boil bags quickly. The crazy crab seasoning was AMAZING. The mild is not hot at all and the medium is just the tiniest bit of heat. If you prefer more spice I'd definitely go higher on that. I don't like shrimp, calamari, or mussels but they were all SOO GOOD. The coconut shrimp were made with real coconut flakes which is something I've never had. The muscles were melt in your mouth amazing and the calamari was not at all chewy. Definitely recommend!! read more
