All the seats outside were taking so we picked a spot inside. (You can seat anywhere you would like). I got a sangria tinto and my husband ordered the make your own old fashioned. The sangria was good but my husband's old fashioned was even better. For food we ordered the sliders and they were tasty. We show up and I didn't have high expectations, given there's only 2 reviews and it's not fancy looking from the outside. And yet... We walk in and there's a group of men playing cards around a table. Then go to the back coffee shop area and meet a group of young men and they immediately welcome us and talk to us like old friends. I told them I had never had hookah before, but always wanted it. So they immediately started telling me all about it and asking me questions on what I like. During the education, not one, but two different guys offered up their hookahs for me to taste as they made recommendations and helped me decide on my flavor. I then went to the counter to order some food and noticed they had Turkish coffee. I LOVE Turkish coffee and they did not disappoint. They then mentioned and recommended Moroccan tea, which was exceptional. I was going to order a giro, which I love, but because it was Friday, they had some off menu items and highly recommended them. The men sitting around the tables said "order it! Im a foodie and you can only get that if you travel to Morocco." I ordered the chicken dish and HOLY COW it was incredible!!!! Seriously, some of the best tasting chicken I've EVER eaten. It came in a sauce made in heaven along with thinly sliced potatoes cooked to perfection and a bunch of green olives that had the best flavor ever (just be aware the pit is still in them). Everyone in the group ordered something different and all thought it was exceptional and everyone raved about the staff and experience. The staff was exceptional! Very pleasant, welcoming, professional, polite, always serving without bothering, making you feel like family and guest of honor. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. The owner was present, welcoming, made time for us to speak to each of us individually, made room for us at the last minute, and everyone in the building followed suit.

Plenty of seating and a dance floor for out and about fun, I believe, later in the day. My fried shrimp was good but I was hoping for spicier since they are jalapeños stuffed shrimp but I am sure that's a personal preference. My sister and cousin ordered hamburgers but after a bit of time were told they were out of burgers. So they switched to a meat lovers flat bread pizza and a sweet and spicy chicken wrap. They both were happy with their new choices. It's a bar/restaurant atmosphere which i am sure would be even more fun later in the day. In the area? Check Them Out!

Since more than a few sunsets have passed between the late 80s and now it is essentially my generation's classical music. So when I heard about a show in Kissimmee, I was ready to hit the road in my midlife crisis, red sports car with a good friend. Sun on the Beach is located in Old Town Kissimmee, close to a bunch of hotels, restaurants, and of course, other entertainment venues. There is some parking, but I left my car in the hotel and we Ubered over. The space itself looks like an industrial warehouse that was converted to a nightclub with lots of open space, kind of like classic Wynwood. Judy Torres' performance was 6/5, no doubt! Her singing took me back to the all ages parties in the late 80/s & early 90/s, to borrowing my parents' Cutlass Cierra and going with my then girlfriend to sit behind the airport and watch the planes #iykyk. She dances with great moves as if our generation never aged. Before her act, we sat through two hours, more or less of a warm-up DJ act that was all sorts of mix from freestyle to Bachata to Reggaeton. The other warm-up act was Sammy EXO, who sang a few tracks. Besides the long warm-up act and wait between the headline performance, my friend and I waited in crowded bar that could've used another bartender to get a couple of sweet watered down drinks. I know we're adults and extensively have a little better tolerance but come on you want to feel a little bit of a buzz. Besides that after driving three hours from Miami, we might have been a little tired :) I had to ask around to get at least one chair so we could get to recharge a bit. The only seating was in the VIP area. Admittedly, I know yeah VIP but maybe having some lounge areas or some seats at the bar would make it a little more comfortable. Another complaint is that there is no in and out like with a wristband. Heck we couldn't even go to their outside bar. Although it has the same name and was in the same property, we couldn't go to the other bar for a change of scene or just to get a break from the long warmup act.

We love to pop in to Nomad Lounge during our Animal Kingdom day! After an early start with hopefully a trip around the savanna, it is a wonderful escape and cool place to sit and sip! Even though it isn't meant to be adult only, grab a table outside on the porch and you'll be secluded without children running around too! The drinks here are so creatively themed and deliciously fresh too. We grabbed a Zingiber Fizzie and a Snow Leopard Salvation without alcohol. Both are overflowing with fresh herbs and a perfect cool sippage to lounge!!! But... the real treat here is the food menu too. Newly updated - but still with homages to the classics!! We grabbed the Chinese Five-Spice Glazed Chicken Wings and the Churros! I loved the PBJ wings but the flavor of these wings is out of this.. jungle!!! The churros are still the same... best churros in WDW... but the new blueberry sauce is a perfect pair with the vanilla crema.. double dip, if you want the perfect bite of sweet and sour! The waiters take such excellent care of you with the perfect blend of relaxation and attention! You'll want to take this quick lounge break every time you come... so be warned!

The churros with orange and vanilla sauces were to die for too! The kids at the next table each ate 4 pieces! There were 5 pieces in each other! Will come again when visiting Animal Kingdom again.

It's one of Disney's newer additions, and worth the detour. Grabbed a Cold Brew Coffee to start the morning. My only gripe was they were pretty heavy-handed with the ice, which left me with more diluted coffee than I bargained for so I'd you're an iced coffee purist, don't be shy about asking for light ice. That said, the experience was quick, easy, and painless if you're looking to get your caffeine fix before a full day in the parks. The space itself has a really nice ambience that fits the Polynesian's theming well. Being a newer concept, it feels fresh and polished without the wear you see at some of the older resort quick-service spots. Would I come back? Probably, especially for convenience if I'm already over at the Poly. Just going to ask for easy ice next time!

Upon entering, it definitely felt and smelled of a hookah joint. This was my first time ever going to a Hookah lounge as I only first ever went to one in Egypt, so the standard is kinda high for me lol. we went in a Sunday around 5:30-ish and the establishment opened at 4 PM. we were the first ones there so at first it was a bit awkward but TY broke the ice with his friendliness and charisma. TY took the time to explain us first timers the process of selecting the regular and ice base of the hookah and clarification of having more than one hookah and prices. he was very formidable and friendly which is what I loved about my experience overall. I selected the Peach flavor as it is very potent with the ice base hookah. Ice base let's you feel the flavor very potently. We shared it and it so happened that we made it during happy hour (5 through 7 I believe) so it was just $7.99 for the three of us - not bad! I also had shay (red tea) which reminded me so much of Egypt. The shay didn't have the green leaves but that's ok. The flavor and overall tea was yummy and fresh. The music process - really cool and personal. Since we were the first ones, we were able to connect one of our phones to the TV to play music. It really was personable and fun. I guess the ONLY negative feedback is that there were no paper towels in the bathroom, but air drying and soft patting on my jeans did the trick too. I can't wait to be back!!
