During the education, not one, but two different guys offered up their hookahs for me to taste as they made recommendations and helped me decide on my flavor. I then went to the counter to order some food and noticed they had Turkish coffee. I LOVE Turkish coffee and they did not disappoint. They then mentioned and recommended Moroccan tea, which was exceptional. I was going to order a giro, which I love, but because it was Friday, they had some off menu items and highly recommended them. The men sitting around the tables said "order it! Im a foodie and you can only get that if you travel to Morocco." I ordered the chicken dish and HOLY COW it was incredible!!!! Seriously, some of the best tasting chicken I've EVER eaten. It came in a sauce made in heaven along with thinly sliced potatoes cooked to perfection and a bunch of green olives that had the best flavor ever (just be aware the pit is still in them). My friend enjoyed her gimlet, and my hibiscus drink was nice, but a little sweet for me. The hibiscus flower in the glass was edible, which was cool to experience. Overall, nice place for a cocktail, but the prices are high and the drinks were not that strong. Prior to the event we had special menu restrictions due to vegetarian and vegan attendees and she made accommodations with the menu and the prices were very fair. We had over 100 people show up and she had all the food ready and waiting when people arrived and even brought out more food when we went through the allotted amount. The bills were updated online live, and she was extremely responsive with excellent communication and reliable billing. I wanted to also give a huge shout out to Christopher, who is the lead chef and produced absolutely delicious food. Everybody was impressed with the quality of the food - especially the sliders. I thought the honey chicken sliders were amazingly delicious. The whole night turned out perfectly. This was a great event and we will definitely consider using Crush Yard in the future when we have our baseball spring break trips. Drinks were not refilled, straws were not offered and the whole experience was awful. We ended up asking for a manager, and one was not sent to our table. Instead, we had to flag one down. It unfortunately doesn't end there. My nieces food came out 20 minutes before our food. By the time our food arrived, they had finished their food. Other tables with kids received their food at the same time. I ordered the glass noodles and shrimp, which was fine. It really just tasted like salt, the shrimp were chewy and the portion was small. TY took the time to explain us first timers the process of selecting the regular and ice base of the hookah and clarification of having more than one hookah and prices. he was very formidable and friendly which is what I loved about my experience overall. I selected the Peach flavor as it is very potent with the ice base hookah. Ice base let's you feel the flavor very potently. We shared it and it so happened that we made it during happy hour (5 through 7 I believe) so it was just $7.99 for the three of us - not bad! I also had shay (red tea) which reminded me so much of Egypt. The shay didn't have the green leaves but that's ok. The flavor and overall tea was yummy and fresh. The music process - really cool and personal. Since we were the first ones, we were able to connect one of our phones to the TV to play music. It really was personable and fun.
