If I could give them 10 stars I would do that! What a difference. I vetted many companies and for a while it was a blur of average, same pricing, same product, same experience without any one standing out as exemplary in any way. Then I called SoCal Window Pros and spoke with Alex, one of the sons of the founder Jack. I had just gotten a bid from a really nice man representing Home Depot. And that one was priced well.. Milguard windows. Alex said over the phone, that they would match that bid whatever it was AND upgrade my job from Milguard to Anlin.. for the same price. Home Depot doesn't carry Anlin so offering them the job with Anlin wasn't an option. The founder, Jack, came out himself.. measured every window and door by hand and came out a bit different that the other vendors who used that laser measure tool. I didn't need a second appointment with the installer as required by some window companies. Jack dialed me in on that one visit, sent over their insurance and licensing information to my HOA on the spot! And he upgraded a couple of other things too. PLUS there is a double lifetime warranty on Anlin windows so not only is it lifetime for me, it is also lifetime for the next owner if/when I sell my place. No one offered all this with the service being shown to me. Now, skip to install day. There were 5 install guys.. all so nice and respectful.. they put plastic down, protected my floors, and when they left they vacuumed my whole place! They also showed me how to work the windows and screens making sure I know everything before they left. They also took out the metal around my old windows and doors unlike the Milguard installations here where I live where they install the new doors and windows over the old metal left behind. This company is local.. and Christina answers the phone and returns your call within minutes even when she is taking her kids to school. No company does everything right all the time. It is what that company does about it that makes the difference. And this company is amazing.. no hired sales people.. just the family members who own the business and want to keep their customers happy! You can't do better! Did a great job installing new windows in my condo. These are the special double-pane type with inert gas inside. Even though we've been having days with temperatures topping out at 99 degrees, the window pane on the inside stays at room temperature - a far cry from my old single-pane windows, where they would be hot to the touch. And the whole installation process was done in a single day. In addition, they came on a different day and installed wall-to-wall carpet in the whole condo, plus putting new wood flooring down in the kitchen and bathroom - all done in one day as well.
