At the end of the quote, he put on extra strong caulking on our leaking windows just to help us get through the raining days, and it works perfectly! Jack was very thorough in our consult and I appreciated his attention to detail that other vendors lacked. While temperature was a big concern for our door replacement, we still had a lot of noise issues to deal with. I contacted 5 companies for this project, and the other four focused on title 24 minimum standards being good enough, brushing off my concern over sound. Jack talked us through his more standard option and the upgraded option to help with the noise. The pricing was excellent, we loved working with Jack, and the door quality is top-notch. Our room looks better and the back face of our house looks better because of how they install molding to frame the retrofit. We're very happy with our new door. UPDATE 7/8/20: Still LOVE the sliding door. Improved temperature control in our room, even on the super hot days we have had. We got our windows replaced a few months after the door install and are thrilled. They look so much better, and much easier to open, and are more energy efficient.
