After opening the PC and putting it in, I ended up actually busting my geforce video card and the screens wouldn't show anything anymore. I went to geek squad on besbuy at labrea and they wanted to charge me 200 dollars to take 3-5 days to diagnose the problem, because they weren't sure about what it was. I said no ty, went for some lunch and found Computer Works with the help of a store clerk on gamestop. Turns out these guys are a block from where I live, and for being such a small store, I hadn't even reminded that they were there. In the end, I got there, showed the guy my computer and told him my story. I really couldn't afford the 3-5 days of wait to diagnose because I have to finish some work within that time frame, and it's all inside my PC. In 10 min, he made all the tests, figured out it was the videocard's memory, and charged me only 25 bucks. I insisted in paying more but they didn't let me. They ordered me a new and better geforce 250 gts card for a total of 198 bucks (the price geek squad wanted me to pay for "diagnosis"). This is the kind of place where you want to go, where they really dont have a nice little brand with TV commercials, but it's a place where they will be nice and truth to you, and won't charge you a penny extra for that. I bought with them a computer duster, that was like 35 bucks in best buy, for $4,50 with them. And one more thing, because I'm not done yet. Right now I'm at home, writing this review, with my computer running on one of their video cards, that they let me have while my new video card is being shipped. If that's not caring about your customer, I don't know what is! No where else for me as far as computers go. I hope they stay in business for long, so that I will always know my PC is safe.

They have ALWAYS been fair to me and they notice BS when you come in there with some lame story! I have personally watched it and knew the customer story was BS! Just go and tell your story truthfully and they will understand and help you! I had a friend take her computer there, last week, on my recommendation... and she lives 45 miles away in POMONA! She is sooo happy that I recommended CompuNet! Her 4 year old computer starts up and runs faster now! Jovi and Jenni works the front desk on incoming coming computers. Their smiles are warm and welcoming. They will explain the situation to you and if it's something that's minor and not time consuming, Jovi, will see what she can do. If it's a deeper problem, you leave it and they will assign a Tech to it! Gino...the main Tech guy... One thing about him....he will become relentless on fixing the problem. He will not let it beat him! This is the person you want in your corner on going beyond the problem when necessary. I asked him if it was able and even worth it, to install the latest Windows on my 11" Samsung XE700T series, tablet/laptop/Slate that had W8 on it? The computer is over 13 years old. And he was able to do it! I strictly use it to install Radio Frequencies on my HAM Radios. He saved me money where I didn't have to buy a new Windows laptop. He will honestly tell you if your computer is a good one or bad one! Meaning.. he will NOT try and sell you on something that's not worth it on your computer. This place will take your old computers you don't need anymore and they will wipe them clean and refurbish them and give to needy schools/organization/non privilege, etc.... so it can help others.. I've already donated 2 computers to them. To sum it up....... If you want your computer repaired right and locally, this is the place. To me, their prices are very reasonable!
