I have been going to CompuNet for about 7+ years. Their crew is fantastic! They are honest and will explain the situation to you...even if you are not highly computer literate, they will explain to you to where you can understand. They have ALWAYS been fair to me and they notice BS when you come in there with some lame story! I have personally watched it and knew the customer story was BS! Just go and tell your story truthfully and they will understand and help you! I had a friend take her computer there, last week, on my recommendation... and she lives 45 miles away in POMONA! She is sooo happy that I recommended CompuNet! Her 4 year old computer starts up and runs faster now! Jovi and Jenni works the front desk on incoming coming computers. Their smiles are warm and welcoming. They will explain the situation to you and if it's something that's minor and not time consuming, Jovi, will see what she can do. If it's a deeper problem, you leave it and they will assign a Tech to it! Gino...the main Tech guy... One thing about him....he will become relentless on fixing the problem. He will not let it beat him! This is the person you want in your corner on going beyond the problem when necessary. I asked him if it was able and even worth it, to install the latest Windows on my 11" Samsung XE700T series, tablet/laptop/Slate that had W8 on it? The computer is over 13 years old. And he was able to do it! I strictly use it to install Radio Frequencies on my HAM Radios. He saved me money where I didn't have to buy a new Windows laptop. He will honestly tell you if your computer is a good one or bad one! Meaning.. he will NOT try and sell you on something that's not worth it on your computer. This place will take your old computers you don't need anymore and they will wipe them clean and refurbish them and give to needy schools/organization/non privilege, etc.... so it can help others.. I've already donated 2 computers to them. To sum it up....... If you want your computer repaired right and locally, this is the place. To me, their prices are very reasonable! The customer service is horrible. They are not friendly whatsoever (even when you're a returning customer). They took forever to get back to me about my laptop. I dropped off my laptop on Aug 4 and the lady said I should hear back in no more than 5 business day in regards to what was wrong with my laptop. Well the five business days passed and I called. She said that the tech hadn't got to it (it all seemed on what order they received it in). I said ok no prob. She said they'd call me in a couple of days. A while ago, I bought a netbook from a college services company that turned out to be a complete ripoff. My Dell Inspiron gave out when I installed a graphics suite and even after I uninstalled it, my internal memory was extremely limited. So after calling a couple of Yelp recommendations, these were the only people to pick up. My grandmother recommended because they have been around for a long time. Apparently for good reason. I was able to drop off my netbook the same day and it was ready within hours as promised. Ever since these guys got new management, the service changed from night to day. I brought my mac in to get serviced because it had been dead for over a year. They were really fast with diagnosis and were able to work on the motherboard and replace some chips that were making the motherboard overheat. I got the computer and 2 days later, the same problem started to happen. They went way above and beyond anything I expected and now my computer is working perfectly.
