What a great experience it was working with Reza!! I had shopped around with 5 other well rated…read morecompanies before finding Reza. I'm soooo glad I did! My project size was 15 cabinet doors, 3 small drawer boxes, 3 large drawer boxes and one aesthetic drawer face. It's a smaller refacing project since it's a small condo. The lowest quote I received was $5,000 and the highest was $14,000. In terms of pricing, he was on the lower end but not the lowest but considering the quality and customer service it's definitely fair pricing. I was about to move forward with the lowest quote I received but it became clear that responsiveness and customer service were not priorities and I felt very deflated. Then I found Reza and his upbeat, responsive attitude reinvigorated me. Reza is a gem. His quirky personality and his passion and knowledge for his work become evident quickly. He got me samples of the colors I was considering painted on a wood panel and he always replied to me within the hour. Trust the process, go with his flow, tell him what you're looking for and you'll be so happy with the outcome. I'd recommend Reza to anyone I care about.

With tight deadlines and limited availability, we were very selective about choosing someone who could deliver quality work on time. Reza and his team exceeded our expectations in every way. They were professional, punctual, and detail-oriented from start to finish. Not only did they provide precise measurements and clear communication, but they also offered creative solutions tailored to our space. I can't emphasize enough how smoothly the entire project went. Reza and his team went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met and that they delivered exactly what they promised--if not more. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality custom cabinetry.

I cannot stress enough how much of a mistake it was to choose San Diego Custom Cabinets for our kitchen cabinets on an Encinitas project. The workmanship is absolutely appalling (bad). The cabinets started showing signs of wear and tear within just a year. Some panels (dishwasher) corroded and started peeling. The gaps between panels were uneven and unsightly at time of build but especially over time became worse, and to top it all off, the cabinets have actually changed color over time, going from a dark brown (walnut) to a tiger orange. It's obvious all materials were of the cheapest and lowest quality, but beyond that the company's response to these issues was to push back and simply state the warranty period had expired. I should add, it was not only the faces of the cabinets that failed miserably, but the boxes were poorly constructed, including cheap/failing hardware (like the trash pull out which constantly fails (hardware becomes loose and needs to be manually tightened monthly). At this point, we've had no choice but to demolish the entire cabinetry system. We have incurred massive costs (since prices have dramatically changed) and our clients are displaced during this demo period. I'm beyond disappointed with this purchase and this company and would strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere. As a company and brand, we will not be working with SD Custom Cabinets in the future. We will not be endorsing them. And if actual or prospective clients ask for our vote of confidence or recommendation, we will point them to this review.

Charley was our project manager; he kept the project moving forward and was extremely responsive to texts and calls. They helped us change the cabinet layout a bit and it ends up being more functional while also having much more usable space. The flooring and baseboards turned out terrific, it really changes the look and feel of the space. We had picked out something that was not one of their usual suppliers, but that was no problem. They really work with you to get exactly what you want. All the workers were friendly, skilled and left our house clean at the end of the day. My thanks to everyone that worked on our project. Chuck finished the kitchen up and did fine work with our plumbing which required some intricate work to accommodate our layout. I highly recommend Mastercraft and would use them again for any future work.

In addition, his attention to detail, integrity and honesty are UNMATCHED in this day and age! Our remodel was several years ago and just yesterday, he came out to help us resolve an issue we were having at no cost to us! We're so thankful we chose Mark and would gladly do it again!

Mark Smith of Hanson-Smith Cabinetry is a delight to work with in every way! WOW!!! When we started…read moreour remodel journey, we had no intention of redoing our kitchen cabinets as we were trying to save money where we could. We were going to change the countertop and backsplash because we thought the cabinets the last owner put in were still in decent shape. Literally on the day we were moving out so the remodel could begin, I saw a piece of filler board in the corner of our kitchen that looked like it was detaching and I was able to just pick it right up and saw how worn our cabinetry actually was. Yikes!!! We realized then and there that we didn't want to put new quartzite countertops on the old cabinetry. I remembered my friend telling me about Mark and what a fantastic job he did on her kitchen remodel project. I immediately texted my friend to get Mark's phone number and called him asap. Mark answered the phone and took time right then and there to talk with us. With the clear goal of what was in our best interest, he went into detail on why we would be happier in the long run not putting beautiful new countertops on top of our old cabinetry and it got me to thinking that this was an opportunity to re-configure our kitchen, which turned out to be probably the favorite part of our entire remodel. We opened up part of the wall that separated our kitchen and dining room and the change is dramatic and such a real game-changer livability-wise for our space. Mark promptly got plans ready for us and even managed to squeeze us into his busy schedule for the production and installation so that we could move back in by a date that had already been pushed back numerous times due to our evolving additions to the work being done. Anyone who has been through a significant remodel knows that you just can't put a price on having a contractor care for your situation like Mark did for us. Additionally, I have environmental sensitivities and Mark took every care along the way to make sure he was using eco-friendly materials that would keep our space healthy. He used Rubio Monocoat oil (we went with Cotton White) to finish the cabinets at my request. My husband and I are over-the-top happy with the end result and grateful that Mark was so open to making cabinets that were not just beautiful to look at but also environmentally conscious. Mark is a complete joy to work with, has patience to infinity and beyond, and is extremely responsible. His prices are very reasonable and any challenge along the way (such as figuring out how to get both a recycling bin and a trash bin in our very small space for those two items) was an opportunity for Mark to figure out a solution. Never once did we feel like we were bothering him with all of our requests. Openness in our design was a bigger priority for my husband and me than storage, and Mark did everything he could to maximize our space and give us our dream kitchen. It's impossible to recommend Mark highly enough. If you want to work with someone who does gorgeous work, is incredibly dependable, gives you peace of mind and no stress, and will do everything he can to get your job done as quickly as possible, be sure to put Mark's phone number on speed dial for your next cabinetry project. We are loving our remodeled kitchen to infinity and beyond thanks to Mark and his amazing crew, Alex, Rey, and Joel!!
