After getting a couple of quotes from other companies that were in general not quick to respond to calls or emails, I found Don on Yelp and gave him a call. He responded to my message immediately and even came out the same morning to measure my kitchen for new cabinets. The estimate was very reasonable, cabinets were ordered promptly and arrived sooner than expected. Don gave very helpful information along the way, including finding other companies to help with tiling and other details. Don and his crew demo'd our kitchen and installed cabinets in 2 days! The whole process took 4 1/2 weeks (which would have been shorter had we not gone out of town) when other estimates were at least 6 weeks. We're v happy with the results of our project! read more

Highly recommend Don and his crew on a job thoroughly and well done! He was able to customize standard cabinets to fit our needs. True to his word finished in 3 days. Unfortunately, not his fault, it was not three days in a row since one panel was back ordered but is flexibility to come and work as soon as it arrived was very appreciated. Very thorough and careful workmanship. You will not find a better kitchen remodeling contractor! Make sure to ask him for recommendations for plumbing and electricity coworker- he does great work if you need stuff moved around before the cabinet work is done. Side note: these are mantra cabinets. One of the products he works with. read more

I really appreciate Don Silvers and his team. They did a wonderful job with kitchen cabinet installation. They also added a custom dry-bar, which allowed additional storage for my small kitchen. Don also removed the bathroom and entry-way cabinets and replaced them; this brings the cabinet theme together for the house and allows much easier access to storage areas. Don is very knowledgeable and will provide opinions and recommendations if you need help with decisions. Don's team will make your cabinets look beautiful and provide information to countertop contractors to help finish the job. The countertop installation will add a couple weeks to completing your kitchen. Don even returned after the countertops were installed to make minor adjustments for aesthetic purposes. read more

I was very fortunate to choose Don for my kitchen remodel. Although my kitchen is not big, it was not an easy project. I had a very old 80's kitchen, there was drop-down ceiling, plumbing issues, electrical wires issues. And my window sill is 2 inches high above the current standard cabinets, etc. Don brought his knowledge and experience to the project, not only did a fantastic job with cabinet selection, installation, appliance installation, lighting etc, he also helped me find the right people to take care of the electrical issues, plumbing, drywall etc. the result is amazing. (The last photo is my old kitchen) read more

Don and his team were amazing. He communicated well, always on time, cleaned up and was an excellent problem solver. Specifically, I created problems that he solved. I am a rookie and made some mistakes but fortunately, Don was able to not only correct them but. also made my kitchen absolutely beautiful. I really could not be happier. As a result of my outstanding experience, I feel comfortable recommending, Don, Wayne and his team without hesitation. He really goes the extra mile to earn the trust and business of his customers. Glad I was one of them. I'm including pictures but I'm not quite finished but wanted to make sure I gave credit where credit is due. read more

Don and team did a great job with our cabinets. They did a fantastic job that was so quick for a great price. They installed our cabinets in 1 day, which was wonderful. We did have to wait a week for the countertops (from a different company), but finishing the cabinets that fast gave us a pretty functional kitchen that made the wait manageable. I would recommend Don and team definitely! read more

This is long overdue but better late than never. Don did a fantastic job with the cabinet design, kitchen layout and install. He and his crew are very meticulous to ensure they deliver a quality products that would last for years to come. The Shrock kitchen cabinets that Don installed are high quality and durable. Additionally he helped with the moving of electrical outlets, plumbing, demo and pendant lighting installation. We couldn't be happier with the end results. The install was on time and within budget. Don recommended various contractors to help with our full kitchen remodel. This includes countertops, sink, appliance install, backsplash, etc. Please keep this in mind that this is separate when working on your project. read more

Don and his team did a phenomenal job with the cabinet installation! When he told me that the cabinets would be installed in three days, I did not believe him. They were actually installed in two and a half days. And the quality of work was excellent. He far exceeded our expectations. Finally, Don is extremely honest and fair. After he finished the job, Don called me and let me know that he was sending me check was because I paid him for a fan that he did not install. read more

Don came out quickly to give us our free estimate, he was very responsive when we had questions and he finished our kitchen renovation ahead of schedule. We had 3 estimates and Don's was the most reasonable and he didn't try to pressure us to upgrade, this was our first remodel and he was very helpful with recommendations and even emailed some websites for ordering a new sink and cabinet/drawer handles. He gave us a list of countertop recommendations as well and we're thrilled with how everything came together. It's so scary picking a contractor, you never know what could happen but we would recommend Don 100%. He's a man of his word and exceeded our expectations in every way. read more

Don with Home Solutions Remodeling is the best. What really impressed me is the fact that he responded to all of my texts or calls immediately. Don and his team completed a full remodel, including the removal of a wall, and had our kitchen complete and functional within a few weeks ...just in time for the holidays. So happy to have found Don and his team to complete my dream kitchen! My husband and I received several quotes from various contractors and ultimately decided to move forward with Home Solutions for Don's expertise, efficiency, and great prices. Don was able to come in and come up with the best use of space for our kitchen. He listened to what I wanted and needed and was able to bring it to life. Don and his team are honest, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and most importantly, efficient! Even better, we had an issue with the wiring in one of our receptacles weeks after our kitchen was complete - we contacted Don and he came right over and fixed it! He truly cares about his work. A few things to note: Don moves quickly! He completely demo'd our kitchen in one day and had the cabinets up in 2 days - so make sure the week he is working with you your schedule is flexible! Also, he doesn't do drywall or plumbing work - but he tells you that up front. We would definitely work with Don again and recommend him to our friends and family. read more

I have owned my own home and several rental properties for 30 years. I have done many projects over those years and have NEVER been charged for an estimate. One thing I know for sure, a contractor who wants to charge you for an estimate is going to nickel and dime you all the way through. I saw other reviews that said he charges $100. He wanted to charge me $150. Lol. I'm going to spend over $100,000 on this project, if anything I should charge for him to give me a bid. Of course I wouldn't do that, that would be arrogant read more

Don and his team are machines! My cabinets showed up on Thursday, Don and his team showed up on Friday, demoed my kitchen and master bath took Saturday and Sunday off and by 4:30 PM on Monday the cabinets were installed and we were writing him his final check. Don was also the only one creative enough to solve a disagreement between my wife and I. Our counter old counter top was in a U shape. she wanted to cut a path in one leg of the U to make an island. I did not like how small the island would be. We probably talked to 6-10 different contractors over the past year and Don was the only one to finally recommend that we turn the island to make it longer. The idea worked perfectly, looks amazing and both my wife and I are happy. Thanks for the amazing work! read more

Don did such an amazing job on our kitchen remodel. We received several other quotes and Don had the most reasonable price for quality cabinets. Don was great to work with. He and his team helped me quickly turn an old, outdated kitchen at a rental in Oceanside into an all new kitchen in a very short timeframe within my budget. He was honest, prompt, competent and did a great job executing and we are happy with the finished product. He works with an excellent cabinet group and Don also had good links for sinks, counter tops, etc. So a one stop shop with a pro will save you money. He has his system down cold and I appreciated working with him. We were given a recommendation from our contractor to use Don for our kitchen remodel. We ended up having "mostly" beautiful cabinets but overall a horrible customer service experience. Don, cracked one of our cabinets during the installation and has yet to address or fix this issue (this was 3 weeks ago). Don also didn't get three of our cabinets correctly ordered and now he is telling us that it is our fault that we didn't know the "codes" he used. We ended up paying almost $500 extra to one of the correct cabinets. We also have a crooked cabinet and drawer (neither shut correctly) and again, he is refusing to fix/correct any of these issues. Additionally, Don never told us that he was going to saw in our home and never bothered to cover any of our items (including a new computer/key board/etc.). While the cabinets look beautiful, we paid a lot of money getting one of the most pricey cabinets and finishes and before even one use, we have damages and not the drawers/cabinets we wanted. And the worst part is, Don has no interest nor care to help fix any issues. He collected his money and was gone, leaving us without the kitchen cabinets we wanted and paid for. read more

We recently underwent an entire kitchen remodel as I recently purchased my home and the kitchen was 22 years old. After vetting a number of contractors we went with Don Silvers with Home Solutions Kitchen Remodeling. His bid to do the demo and order and install of the kitchen cabinets was a fraction of other bids I received. The timeline for the other remodels were from 3-8weeks. Don and his remodel team came in and did exactly what they said they would do, have the demo and install done in 3 business days. I couldn't be happier with my kitchen remodel. Don and his kitchen remodel team created the kitchen of my dreams. Finally, our appliance vendor was unable to install our kitchen hood to fit our sloped ceiling. Months after the kitchen remodel was complete, I called Don and he and one of his crew came and were able to cut the hood to fit the ceiling. Don takes great pride in his work and his attention to detail months after the kitchen remodel is evident with his service to us. I recommend him and would use him again in a heartbeat. Karen M.
