My initial impressions of Zoran were accurate. He is a contractor not a sales person. Furthermore, he's a strong personality that listens, and more importunately for you, he makes sure his crew and subs gets the work done to his specifications. We are very happy how our master bath turned out and Zoran was there to make decisions with us as we proceeded. Furthermore, I really liked his crew and felt safe with them in our home alone. We also found his pricing to be very reasonable and he did not play any games with payments. And his crew showed up to work as stated and asked us at times if they could stay later (we were happy to oblige) ...which meant it would be done sooner. I will not hesitate to use Poseidon again. It's rare to have a contractor who does what they say they will do. read more

My fiancé and I decided to go with Poseidon Remodeling to redo our shower after living through a reality nightmare, literally!! Zoran came into our house as professional as possible and was very clear and concise about our shower remodel, the cost, and the timeline. As with any project, we did arise with a couple of complications and Zoran went above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service and communication. I can't say enough great things about Zoran and Poseidon. We are truly blessed to have met and hire you for this project. If I could give more than five stars, I would in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Poseidon and Zoran for all your help and hard work, we are LOVING our new shower!! read more

The Before and After photos here were taken from the same spot in our house. They show the incredible transformation delivered by Poseidon. Before our remodel we had a small dark dining room and kitchen and a family room. Now we have an open space which fits our style perfectly and which we absolutely love. Poseidon worked with us every step of the way to ensure that our new room is as we dreamed. The craftsmanship of the work is excellent. Zoran Vladisavljevic's overall management kept the project within budget and to the committed timetable. Keith Tavshanjian is an artist in tile and design and great project manager. Specialists such as Kevin Shea ensured excellence in all things electrical. Keith's assistant Luis is able and willing to undertake projects of many types. We trust Poseidon. We trust Zoran and Keith. This is the second project they have done for us and it won't be the last. Five years ago they remodeled our master bathroom. We strongly recommend Poseidon to anyone looking for a project, small or large. read more

I highly recommend Zoran and his crew. They transformed our old unpermitted 1970s sunroom into a stunning bedroom and closet, as well as moved our laundry hookups to the garage and moved our garage door. The communication was always seamless and so friendly. They truly cared about getting every aspect of the job just right and the end result came out beyond expectations. They also had the most reasonable bid and timing. We were so happy with the entire process and outcome. read more

This is quite comical because all I called for was a simple quote for my kitchen countertop repair. Zoran, you must have me confused with someone else but the fact remains is you didn't take the time to hear my request, stated you were on vacation and then hung up. read more

We are extremely happy with our new doors that Zoran and his team at Poseidon installed for us. The project was quick, convenient and worth every penny. As with most construction projects, we had a hiccup, but Zoran and Charley expeditiously handled our concerns with the utmost professionalism and care. I would recommend Poseidon as one of San Diego County's best companies in the industry. My husband and I will be working with them on our future projects, without hesitation. I've posted before and after photos to demonstrate the seamless job they completed, making it look as if the doors had always been there. read more

Here's my honest review after a small shower remodel. Zoran is honest and dedicated to your project, yes. He will make it work and deliver in the end based on your budget and needs, yes. However. The process is not simple and not for you if you are hands off and just want someone to manage everything- go with a big company that uses folks in- house. I had to be involved every step of the way, despite being told I didn't even have to be home. I WFH and had to interrupt meetings constantly to answer the door, answer questions, make decisions and supervise what was going on. I can't even imagine how this would have went if I wasn't home. Every single person was sub contracted and didn't really match the wonderful reviews in all the 5 star ratings I read about. "Best tiler ever. So dedicated" etc was really not the case. Best tiler ever did not leave me with a level wall. So dedicated guy did not even test water pressure after he was done, completely ran away from the job and didn't make sure I was satisfied. Took a week to get him back in to fix what was apparently a simple issue that could have been fixed over the phone through proper communication. Your dedicated PM left town without warning and had no idea his worker was sitting on the job for hours wasting time. Lost a week to this after everything else was on track. It's a pity because everything was great and to the plan until then. But once the worker knew his boss was out of town, he stopped caring, took his sweet lunches and breaks. It's a pity the client didn't know the boss was out of town. Probably should communicate this in the middle of a project. Anyway, this set us back a week. Not the end of the world but the only reason this changed is because I complained load and clear. Again, if you're hands off and not watching what's happening you wouldn't notice. It took a day per panel to get installed. Yes delays happen but not like this. Luckily I said something or at that speed he'd still be putting in panels. Aside from that I just didn't appreciate the pressure on me. Watch your guys, communicate with them your expectations etc, let me know if something is wrong. Like no, if I hire you for a project and you're subcontracting 5 different people for each task, you need to be here project managing and watching them. It's not my job. It became my project and wasn't fun. We got through it and they delivered everything promised. But it was not an easy process and I did not enjoy the stress and added pressure on me to make it flow. read more

We are very happy with the bathroom remodel. Zoran was very responsive to messages and very clear on what was included. His crew was great. Always showed up when scheduled and worked the whole time. Project was done on time. They took all the construction trash with them. Zoran was more than fair and honest. He gave me references who I did call. One was in my neighborhood. I would definitely call him back for any other work I need. read more

We had some family changes in our living situation and needed make special access to our guest bathroom. We decided to go with Poseidon. Pretty much 4 3/4 stars. Zoran is very personable and responsive, that was great being our first remodeling project. Everything we talked about in the contract was done to my expectations. His guys were courteous and hard working, they really focused on job at hand. During to process there were obstacles but, those were due to MY sourcing of materials for the project from online sellers. The craftsman working on my project did an excellent job, and even made improvements for aesthetics. There were shipping delays in some of my materials which made the remodel take a little longer than anticipated, but Poseidon assured me not to worry and everything came together nicely. I'd give 5 stars if contractor did material sourcing which was a lot of work on my part. We had a good dialogue on what I was buying and doing it myself saved a ton of money so everything worked out great. We are very happy with our new guest bathroom and it accommodates my family members very nicely. I edited from 4 to 5 stars. They did a great job and helped me out in another room in the house with some updates and we like how it turned out. read more

We recently hired Poseidon Remodeling & Zoran to remodel our beachfront condominium in Oceanside. As a retired contractor and representing 13 separate owners it was a daunting task. After interviewing multiple contractors, we decided to hire Zoron and Poseidon Remodeling. It was definitely the correct decision. His bid was competitive compared to several other contractors interviewed, many of whom did not respond or provided excessively high quotes. Zoran and his crew demonstrated extensive knowledge and adhered to our budget constraints and they provided quality work. He is conscientious and acts with integrity. His crew were punctual and completed the project ahead of schedule. I highly recommend Poseidon Remodeling and Zoran as a dependable and trustworthy contractor. Thank you Yelp! We invited the top 5 contractors on yelp to quote out our construction project. After meeting will all, we chose Poseidon. Their pricing was right their demeanor was very friendly and their insight welcoming. From day one real expectations we set and everyday they exceeded our expectations. Even our neighbors couldn't believe the consistency of their performance and quality of the outcome of our rebuild. Each one of their employees is skilled and has a great attitude and willingness to get the job done. Our construction was considered major. We had walls taken down, an engineered beam, new flooring, new kitchen, painting, new fireplace, electrical work, and plumbing. They were able to complete this all in 6 weeks. We are very happy we chose them and will only be using them. read more

We recently purchased a house and our first night using the shower in the master we discovered the tiles were essentially rotting off the walls after 30 years....turned out all of our bathrooms had the same issues, tho the master was the worst. We reached out for quotes via HomeAdvisor, recommendations from our realtor and searching Yelp/Google....I probably met with 10-15 contractors. We chose to work with Zoran/Posideon Remodeling because 1. even though he wasn't the lowest bid, his prices were fair, 2. he was very responsive and his answers to our questions were complete/thorough and seemed honest...he was also the easiest contractor to get the quote back from and everything was correct the first time he sent it and 3. he was willing to work and speak with me - most contractors only seemed to want to speak with my husband, even tho I was the one making the appointments and doing the talking (I understand wanting all the homeowners present for the initial meeting as a policy but I couldn't get many of them to talk to me or they seemed uncomfortable working with me) Throughout the process we had an excellent working relationship, I could get an answer to a question back from him within minutes, he was always available to answer my calls and texts - he was very responsive and took care of things in a timely manner. We had the same guy, Nick, working in our house every day and then one or two occasional other people to help with big stuff like demolition; so it wasn't a parade of strangers coming through the house. We felt like a priority - I've heard horror stories about contractors demoing a bathroom and then not returning to finish it for weeks. We felt like they made good time with the project, they started the first week in December with the master, finished right after New Year's, immediately started on the guest bath and finished that one before the end of January. Overall we are very happy with how both bathrooms came out and our relationship working with Zoran and would recommend him. read more

I've updated my review to 4 stars due to meeting with Zoran and negotiating an equitable outcome for the final payment. We agreed to the following: * the elimination of the $1500 extra for soffit removal * reducing the amounts for furniture moving & carpet instead of LVP * compensating me for the numerous delays & inconveniences All in all I feel good about this outcome and would recommend Poseidon with the caveat to be aware of what you're getting into if you need flooring. My family recently moved to Encinitas where we purchased a 1970s "original" home. Zoran is one of the most responsible, meticulous, thoughtful GCs that I have ever had the opportunity to work with. From beginning to end, Zoran has been the penultimate professional offering the highest level of customer service. His team is dedicated and hardworking to the point where even our neighbors were impressed! Thank you Zoran for giving us our dream home. We couldn't have found a better contractor. I feel like Zoran and his team did a fantastic job, not just with the work but with helping us with some of the design, picking out the right materials for our needs and our budget. Zoran was either physically checking in on our project daily or calling throughout the entire project to ensure we were happy and everything was going according to plan. As the project was getting close to the end, we decided we didn't like the placement of a vanity. We were expecting to have to pay extra for it to be moved. Zoran said, "not at all, you need to be 100% happy with the work". His team moved the vanity to the location we thought would be best and no additional charge because they were still on site. The was no trash left behind and after 6 months, no issues with craftsmanship, materials, and thanks to Zoran's help with colors and design, no buyer's remorse. I happened to see Zoran at a gas station a few weeks into our project and just shot the breeze with him for probably 20 minutes. Nothing to do with the project, wasn't trying to upsell, just talked about normal stuff. I would trust Zoran with any project. We will be calling him soon for a full bathroom project. read more

My husband and I are so pleased with our recent kitchen remodel. Poseidon Remodeling was recommended by friends who used them for their own kitchen remodel. Zoran/Poseidon and his team were professional, hardworking, and great to work with throughout the project. In one month our 1970's kitchen was transformed from dingy and not- so- serviceable to contemporary, efficient, and gorgeous. I was able to move various dishes, baking trays, a stand mixer, and other items from the garage into the kitchen. An amazing pull out " lazy Susan" was installed In the cabinet next to the stove which previously had a huge dead space. From the very start Zoran was approachable and quick to respond. Throughout the project he remained responsive, reliable, flexible, and pleasant. He was helpful with decisions about products, materials, and design. Poseidon Remodeling delivered. He explained since he is based out of Oceanside, Temecula was too far to come and get a specific estimate unless he was going to get the job. I understand contractors are in high demand; HOWEVER there is something to be said about customer service. He told me after I got more bids then to come back and see what can be done.
