All the good reviews about Juan and his crew are 100% correct! We were so pleased with his work on our remodel. Extremely efficient, great with details and new suggestions. He was always on top with the cleanup and finished the job when he said would. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. That's how pleased we were! read more

Five Stars for Vejars Design & Build! Vejars Design & Build completely exceeded my expectations. We had sudden water damage from a broken shower valve inside the wall, and our homeowners insurance placed us in a hotel while repairs were underway. I was prepared for a long, stressful process, but Vejars proved me wrong in the best way. They had us back home in less than four weeks, which is incredible given the extent of the damage. Their team worked quickly, efficiently, and with impressive attention to detail. Every day the workspace was clean, organized, and free of debris--they even hauled away all the scraps without us having to ask. The craftsmanship is top-notch. My new bathroom looks amazing, and you can tell they take pride in delivering high‑quality work. From start to finish, the communication, professionalism, and overall experience were outstanding. If you need repairs or a remodel done right, Vejars Design & Build is the team to trust. I absolutely love my new bathroom! read more

Aug 2025 I am writing this review to highly recommend Vejar's Design and Build for your next construction or renovation project ... you would not be disappointed! JC and his crew just finished 2 separate projects for me. One project was a remodel of a bathroom. They gutted the room, replacing the tub with a doorless walk-in shower. It involved moving plumbing, electrical, shower tile, flooring, fixtures and painting and was completed within a 2 week period. The design was exactly what I was looking for. The second project entailed removing and replacing all existing flooring in the house (1,800 sq. ft.), removing a wall, rerouting electrical for in-floor receptacles as well as a couple of new outlets that previously didn't exist, dry wall repairs, new baseboards and painting. It required moving all furnishings in a fully furnished home with minimal disruption to me while living there. Amazingly, once started, this project was completed in a little over a week. JC's team was amazing getting the project completed. Additionally, they accommodated some changes and additional work that I requested willingly. They cleaned up daily leaving the work area absolutely clean. I was familiar with JC's work from a kitchen remodel I did years ago as well as several remodels he has done for some of my neighbors. There was no hesitation on my part to hire JC for the 2 projects I wanted done. I did get multiple bids but as I anticipated, JC's was the most competitive and complete bid. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of the projects and plan to use Vejar's Design & Build again in the future. Photos of the end results are included. read more

JC and crew were great to work with. We had a deck leak that was leaking into our living room below. It was quick and easy to make an initial appointment and get estimates. From the office staff to the crews working, everyone was very nice to work with. The crew arrived on time everyday and took the time and care to keep our home clean even through construction. The final outcome was exactly what we wanted and needed. We highly recommend Vejar's Design & Build and would use them again if needed in the future. read more

I hired Vejar's Design & Built for our full interior remodeling. We purchased our first home which was built in the 70's and was very dated. My husband and I had a vision of how we expected our kitchen and livingroom to look like and JC (Owner) did exactly that! I can't say enough about this Company, they worked hard all day to complete the time frame of 6 weeks. They were able to fully remodel my kitchen, 2 livingrooms, main bathroom, master bathroom, flooring, garage and painting and not to mention a few extras. I would definitely recommend this Company! JC and his crew are very knowledgeable, creative and professional. Thank you JC and Vejar's Design & Built crew for making my home feel New and Beautiful!!! read more

Was hoping for a better experience working with Vejar's Design & Build. Setting up an appointment for a quote was easy and JC was knowledgeable and had great recommendations for what we could do in the space. Unfortunately, after four requests for a quote I still didn't receive anything, or a timeframe for when an estimate would be available. read more

All the work was done. The workers were all pleasant and professional . it is great to support a local business

JC and his crew did a fabulous job designing and installing our glass wall in our backyard. The pricing was fair- in other words not so low that I questioned the validity. His team was on time and detailed. We needed to make a change and JC immediately addressed the issue with minimal impact to the project timeline. JC is a gem of a person too. So easy to talk to. Passionate about his work and providing excellent products. We will definitely be using Vejar's Design and Build again. read more

It took us a long time to choose a contractor. After months of sifting through reviews, interviews, referrals, and dead-end meetings, we found Vejar's Design and Build Inc. Although the cost was not the lowest, the construction company most understood what we were looking for and seemed most capable of pulling off the job. It also helped because we saw his work on our friend's kitchen remodel. Vejar's Design and Build team is fantastic, especially Gaston. He is a real great guy, someone you can trust to get the job done right. In the time of COVID, we wanted folks to take precautions, and Vejar's Design and Build crew understood that. They are responsive, personable, strive to make the customer happy, and ultimately want to build a long-lasting relationship, which is hard to come by nowadays. On the remodel, my wife and I are super picky, and, like most projects, we end up fretting about every detail along the way. Vejar's Design and Build was very accommodating to all the questions and changes. Also, the owner, JC, helped us in designing our kitchen, including the island platform. We had our 1st floor completely redone, including the staircase and loft upstairs. Vejar's Design and Build made sure it was done how we liked. Even a few months later, we inquired about some fixes, and the owner had someone come right over and get it done within a couple of days. In the end, we loved our kitchen, fireplace, and staircase. Best decision we made in terms of house projects. Thanks, Vejar's Design and Build! read more

JC and Freddie were just absolutely wonderful to work with. We were stressed that our HOA required us to do repair work on our patio deck during a pandemic and when prices are high. JC made it so easy by being transparent about pricing and the work involved. He gave us options on how to fix the problem, and within a day, his team completed repairs on our patio. We are so happy we found him and his family, and seriously can't wait to work with him on bigger and better projects for our current and future home. JC and his crew were spectacular in replacing our deck that I had built myself 15 years ago. Approx. 8' wide by 50' long. I had been ceramic tile but we replaced it with Trex. The demolition crew moved all plants and furniture to a patio location then proceeded to remove the deck, saving the railings that I made years ago for the replacement deck. JC's men were there promptly every morning and cleaned up most area before they left in the evening. The price was fair even with the few extras that had to be preformed that weren't visible until the demo. We couldn't be happier! We'll certainly have Juan and crew back for future upgrades when necessary. read more

Vejar Design & Build just completed an amazing kitchen remodel for us. The project included customizing cabinets, refinishing cabinets, installation of new counters (including a customized butcher block island), a customized range hood, floating shelves, installation of a new sink and microwave and many more customized details. Juan and his team are professional, efficient and hard working. They made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it and when we weren't sure about something Juan had great ideas and suggestions. After every day of work the team cleaned up and even moped the floors! This project took 5 weeks, a little longer than expected but mostly because of additional customizations that we asked for in the middle of the project. We are very happy with our kitchen and will definitely use Vejar Design & Build again. read more

Vejar's Design and Build just completed a kitchen and master bathroom remodel at our home that is fabulous. JC is extremely creative with so many good ideas and has such an idea for design. He saved us money by repurposing materials and doing things their best way and not the most complicated or expensive. JC listens, he explains, and he goes out of his way to do a great job for his clients. He is easygoing on the job and takes challenges in stride and solves them. We had a big project over months and JC or his crew were at our home every day. No usual contractor " I'll be back " and then you don't see anyone for a week. It's a family business and JC's wife Ana is lovely and works hard behind the scenes to make everything run smoothly. We're so happy with our new home and all the extras Vejar's Design and Build did for us. read more

We hired a friend of a friend to put up a pergola and the person was a disaster as far as the quality of work done and the speed in which he was doing it. I saw J.C.'s truck at a neighbor's house and asked about them and my neighbor said he tried several other people and finally went with Vejar Design who he was perfectly happy with. So we hired J.C and his crew to finish the pergola and they did a spot on job. They were also sympathetic about the money we ended up wasting on the other person and I was able to haggle a bit on their original quote. It took a month for the other person to get around to demolishing the old pergola and hauling it away. After seeing the shoddy work and the time the person was taking in attempting to put up the frame of the new pergola, I got rid of him. J.C. and his crew built the new pergola and had it fully painted in 3 days. read more

I spoke to JC when his brother (my plumber) referred me to him for a kitchen remodeling job in my house which involves removal of a cabinet to make room for countertop extension, the conversion of ceiling lights from fluorescent box to LED recessed lighting (ceiling drywall work included). JC was thorough in explaining what needs to be done plus he suggested ideas which enhanced what I had in mind. Him and his crew did a great job even to the smallest details. His price quote of the entire job package was very reasonable compared to other contractors that show up to your house in uniform and give you exorbitant quotes. JC has the same great work ethic like his brother whom I have had the privilege of having my plumbing work done by him for a few years now.
