These guys are scam artists. Buyers beware: They advertised a phone sale during Black Friday on eBay, during which, they advertised a flagship android phone for $300 less than market value. Excited about the deal, I made a purchase, and decided to skip out on other Black Friday cellphone deals (like the pretty decent $250 Target store credit with iPhone Max purchase deal). After two weeks (when the phone was supposed to arrive), they cancel the order, without any explanations. When I check again, the store is selling the same phone for $200 more. Wtf. Now I missed out on a $250 Target deal to buy a new iPhone. Fuck these guys, absolutely atrocious assholes read more

Horrible place to do business, over priced no warranty no refunds no exchange . Is this America ? Don't even mention repairs , I took my phone to be repair , they repair what it was broken but they broke something else on the phone, so I took it back, they ask for a recipe that I never got, but they said they will still repair it, when I went to pick it up they charge me for something they broke, bc they said the person that does the repairs charge them. Way to go doing business that way I paid and I left. DO not go to this place , they have a few on the beach so be careful. I wish I could give them no stars at all read more

Sobe Electronics - Electronics Near Me - Miami Beach, Florida

you guys need to seriously not go to this store. look at their horrible reviews!! they dont even have 2 stars on yelp and everyone knows the store owners can pay yelp to hide their bad reviews. so this means they either dont care about their horrible reviews or yelp doesn't have enough good reviews to hide all thier bad!! either scenario is not good!! i don't know how they are not closed down by the city of miami beach most of their reviews seem criminal!!! i would stay away if i were you read more

Terrible! Unfortunately I did not do my research before purchasing a camera here. They sold a me a $100 camera for $400. Once I figured it out, I went back to the store and of course there's no exchanges and no refunds. I was able to convince them to give me an exchange. So instead I got a $160 camera for $400. DON'T GO HERE. They WILL rip you off. You're better off walking to Best Buy on 5th. read more

Absolute mess and SCAM artists, please avoid this place for any electronics or anything at all..They charged me $96 for a plastic GoPro housing. I needed it at the time but didn't realize this place was such a scam. Check out their Google page reviews as well because I'm not the only one. I had my friend write my review on their Google page because I was a bit busy..but long story short I did feel the need to warn buyers about this place.. Next time I know to do my research, go to Amazon, and avoid places like this. Buy it for $42 there and wait for it patiently next time.... https://www.amazon.com/GoPro-AHSRH-401-Standard-Housing-Clear/dp/B00O12F058/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1478032075&sr=8-14&keywords=gopro+hero+4+housing&refinements=p_89%3AGoPro read more

If I could give 1/16 of a star, I would. I researched this business (not as well as I should have, obviously), as well as the Samsung Galaxy A12s I purchased, (one for hubby too). Phones came, my husband's wouldn't work. SobeOnline1 Gave some BS about AT&T. I returned the phone. Another one arrived, same thing. The one I ordered surprisingly worked... for about 40 days... It began glitching, vibrating and flashing Samsung A12 every three seconds. Their return policy, of course, is 30 days. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! After doing more research on the company, I've realized they are unethical. read more

So incompetent. Literally tried on their eBay site for hours to explain what I wanted and they couldn't comprehend what my request was. Kept giving answers to questions I never asked. Tried calling them with no one manning their phone. Then tried emailing them direct on their website with no response. Finally went back to their eBay and got my point across that I wanted to buy their Huawei Mate 40 Pro directly on their website as to avoid the stupid tax eBay does for even out of state purchases. For some reason at first, this item wasn't listed on their website but only eBay. I also logically reminded them that because it would be direct through their site, the price should be lower since they no longer are paying the 10.2% eBay seller fees. Finally they listed this item on their own website after about 5 hours of turtle communication. But only to find out they listed it for the same price on eBay on their own website. Basically a $104 profit increase if I bought it through their website. Ridiculous. I spent 5 hours dealing with a group of special greedy individuals only to be let down in the end. Me, the person who helped them by letting them know an item that should be listed on their website isn't listed yet. Customer service to me sells atleast 30% of the product. I'm gonna spend more money elsewhere so these people don't profit from me. Glad I read the reviews on this place. Reassures me to spend my money elsewhere. read more

Can't post without a star and this company does not deserve any stars. These guys are a scam. I purchased a. Electronic item only to discover that the manual in the box did not match the product. Of course, when I went back to the store was told no returns. A costly mistake and I should have checked reviews of the company before purchasing. Check out trip advisor and other yelp reviews. Almost everyone is dissatisfied. DO NOT EVEN GO INTO THIS STORE. read more

-After reading approx. 5 reviews I still gave them a chance. I called to inquire the prize of a camera stick, which for the most part go for 15-20 dollars. The guy who answered the phone told me they were 49.99/50 dollars, I told him they usually go for 20 dollars max, he got aggravated and hang up. Apparently the all the reviews are true. -STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE- they mark up more than double the original prize for EVERYTHING.....FYI....I had to put one star in order to post this. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! This place is overpriced and the people there are pretending to be your friend to fool you into paying much much higher prices than what the item is worth. I bought a prepaid sim card for $50 here. He told me $50. And he gave me a receipt for $50. A month later I checked my bank statement. They had charged me $140!! I went down and complained. He told me about this and this fee. Even when he explained to me all the fees and trying to push the price up he couldn't reach $140,- I told him that I was told it was $50 and I had a receipt for $50. Unfortunately I had purchased a new camera prior to my trip to Miami for the WMC. The first day I was there I dropped my camera on the ground which forced me to have to purchase a new one while I was there. I was handed a coupon for %15 off of this place on the corner of 14th and Collins (SOBE Electronics). I arrived here and asked about similar cameras to the one that I had purchased. They showed me a number of different cameras and told me about the features of each. The explained how they would give me a good deal and this was the best available for the buck. I decided on a camera and purchased it. I walked down the street and took my first picture, the lens was broken. I went back and luckily they replaced my camera with the same one (I think after reading all of the complaints about product switching). The camera is ok, not the greatest and no where near as good as mine which they assured me was about the same. So I get home from my fantastic trip to find that I have been charged more than double for the product ($150 Mark Up). I called because I did not want to make it publicly known, the guys were really cool (I Thought). The response I got from them was, 'these are our prices', which is true. I am the gullible consumer in a bind that needed something fast. I tried to dispute this with my cc company which did no good. This is criminal (But Legal Unfortunately) what these guys are doing to people. nothing came from my requests and complaints to them, but I want to warn other consumers about these con-artists. Google them if need be! read more

I came to this place and asked the price of one specific lens. I had Amazon webpage opened in my Iphone to compare the price. The guy saw that and just said "this is an expensive lens", I said "I know, I just want to compare the prices", another guy said "Go away, shop in Amazon", I said "I just want to compare the price", then another guy came to me saying "go, go, go"... I got scared and left the place... Those guys are criminals... Don't buy in this place.... They are just trying to fool people with a "great offer" which does't exist. read more

Similar story as to the first two reviews, I sent my friend to an electronics store on Lincoln. Unfortunately she entered the wrong one! Sobe Electronics absolutely ripped her off. This company should not be allowed to be in business. They jipped her out of $700 selling her a "lens" I could find online for $50 and is worthless anyways. It's not what she wanted but they convinced her it was the same thing. And told her the price was over $1000 and she was getting a big discount. This place LIES, LIES, LIES read more

I came to this store after my phone had some water damage, and so I decided to give this store a try. They gave me back my phone saying it is unfixable. The worst buy I've done in my live: in SOBE ELECTRONICS. They sell me a camera that doesn't work. I didn't see when they did the change of the camera that they showed to me and was tested in my presence for another one that was faulty. I tried to change it when I realized the next day but it was IMPOSSIBLE. They refused!!! I couldn't believe it!!! The police was unable to help me. So I buy a camera that went directly from the shop to the technical service. How can this people fall sleep having this job consisting in cheat people. Unbelieveble!! It's very unfortunate to write those stuff. I ordered a smartphone from this store through eBay. The device never arrived. USPS reported package was delivered when in fact it didn't. Being used to buying in eBay, I was sure they would back me up, however Sobe AND eBay bullied me, not taking ANY responsibility, and sending me to hassle with the post (who said like 10 times they would call me back and never did). This is not the American way of doing business, I'm very sorry. In conclusion, I'm very sorry to advice you not to make deals with them' until they treat their customers with more dignity. read more

I was there some days ago. I wanted to buy an unlock blackberry as I am from Argentina. I got there and asked whether they sold UNLOCKED BB and the guy on the store told me ALL OF THERE PRODUCTS WHERE UNLOCKED and showed me some bb telling me the price was 200US, after that, he showed me the same bb in another color and told me that one was 300US but because it was "newer in some way he could not specify, although the name, model, and box of the bb was the same. He told me the difference could not be seen from the outside in anyway, but that they worked different and so asked me whether I wanted the "new" or the "old" (both bb curve 8520) I asked him to show me the new one in white and so he called someone and said "bring me bb curve 8520 in white... OH! THE NEW ONES.. YOU KNOW" And other one there laughed, so they were clearly making fun of me. However, I was so excited about the idea of buying one that asked him whether I could try my sim card on a bb as the last step. When I told him that, he automatically wanted me to leave the store. He told me that he had no batteries charged, that I should leave, and go back later while he charged one. So I told him "ok, I'll wait, because want to see some comeras while you charge it" and he was like "OK, THEN, NOW GO, when you come back I'll show you everything there" I asked him whether he would wait and assured me that he was going to stay there until midnight. I went back about half an hour later to find that he was gone. I asked sb else, and this new guy asked me "ok, I'll show you the bb... how much did he told you the price was???" And I was like "ok, YOU are selling the bb, you should be the one telling me how much they are" and he told me "OK, 400US, any of them" I started to complaint, and he told me "ok, you should come talk to the one before, Idk what he told to you. In addition, we have a deal with a company here, so this wont work in your country" So, I left completely upset and knowing that they just wanted sb to go and buy the bb without trying them, and when I told them I wanted to try my sim card, they did not know what to do to make me leave, as the cellphones clearly DON'T WORK. If I had stayed in US longer I would definetely make a complaint to the police. SHAME ON THEM read more

I would give a MINUS if I could. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE!!! I went to this place because my friend and I were on vacation and were in the water a lot. So we thought of getting a new underwater camera. First, a guy recommended me an underwater camera for $20 more expensive than Best Buy. Guess what! They don't tell you or show you your camera until YOU PAY! So, be prepared when they give you a "RECONDITIONED" camera for the price of a new one. And, that's what they gave me, a used camera. The next day, I had to come back to the store since the charger was not working. They were still so nice and replaced my charger. Then, that's when all hell broke loose. On the same day, I was trying the new camera on the beach! The buttons went in and I couldn't hit the playback or record buttons. I went back to the store the next day, and complained about it and they replaced it with another 'reconditioned' camera. I just took the replacement since I was getting frustrated by it. The next day, same thing happened to me again which made it my 3rd time visit to the store, and the manager sold me a "BETTER" camera which I had to pay an extra $30 to upgrade it. And again, they gave me a "reconditioned" camera. Anyway, I upgraded (stupid me!) and it was BUSTED! So, I had to go back to the store (4th trip), and got it replaced again since it turned on and off according to its whim. The only nice guy in the store replaced it for me, and we went on a trip somewhere else for a week and a half. Of course, during that time, the replacement camera had the same problem. It was sooo frustrating trying to get the camera to work and realized I have been scammed. So coming back to Miami, I went back to the store (5th time) and asked for a refund. The guy in the store agreed and told me to come back later in the afternoon to get it. Did I get my money back??? OF COURSE NOT!!! I was being treated RUDELY, and shooed out of the store. One of the guys were telling me to 'watch my mouth' and threatened me because I was telling the truth and warning the customers in the store to be careful! I told them about how they never mentioned anything about giving me a reconditioned camera for the price more expensive than a new one! And, how the cameras were all busted. And, the guy dared telling me the quality of the cameras he gave me were better than the new ones! After giving me the piece of crap replacement, which still does not work, another guy came and kick me and my friends out of the store, rudely. This store almost ruined my whole vacation.
