Update: I was contacted by the head technician, Luis, and he told me to bring the computer back in. I was informed that the technician that had previously helped me was no longer with the company and assured me that they would never treat a customer in that manner. The hinge on my laptop was completely fixed (as you can see on the video) and it's working well now. I truly appreciate their customer service and attention to their customers needs. This is exactly how a great business should operate! *************************** I came here because the hinges on my computer were broken and they told me they would have it fixed by the next day for $105.93. I came in the next day and it seemed to be fixed and I was happy. About a month and a half later, the same hinge breaks again. I came back in to the store and was told they only guarantee their work for 30 days. They offered to try a different method of fixing the hinge which would be even more expensive than the original method. read more

I have a pair of Bose noise-cancelling earbuds which needed a new battery. When I opened the unit, I found that the battery leads needed to be soldered. Someone recommended this place and I found them to be professional, cooperative, friendly, and - most of all extremely competent. I love this place! Luis always leaves my electronics perfect and even better than before they were broken. I have fixed my phone twice here, MacBook Air twice, and macbook desktop once. Clearly the service is great for a great price. My dad takes his phone here too for any minor inconvenience. Once again, best tech guy is LUIS! Hands down. Honest, efficient, kind man. I have used this place in the past and had a great experience but the manager that I felt with today, was very unprofessional. I took an iPhone to have the screen replaced and was told by the associate that the middle option was adequate for the repair. When I received the device, the internet and apps were not working. I took it back and delt with the manager on call. He was very defensive and stated that it was partially my fault because I selected the cheapest option, which I did not. This actually had nothing to do with the problem. Apparently during the repair, they shut off the date and time option which locals the phone. Instead of giving me a simple explanation, he proceeded to tell me it was my fault for selecting the option I did for the screen and that I shut off the date and time. It's quite unfortunate that they have such a rude and entitled individual dealing with the public. read more

I live an hour away and it was totally worth the drive and the time to save my sons pictures. I'm telling you, if you have ANY problems, big or small, with your smart phone/tablet or computer... go to STG Repairs! The equipment and expertise is unmatched! They literally preformed an electronic miracle on my iPhone. I urge everyone to take a look at their Instagram and social media.... it's just phenomenal what they do! Not to mention the store is clean and beautiful! Here's my whole experience: My iPhone 6+ was stuck on an infinite restart loop and everything I tried didn't work. I haven't backed up my phone since December, my wife gave birth to my 1st son this past May and so I was desperate to retrieve the pictures and videos from my phone. Trying to stay local I went to uBreakiFix and to some half-assed Apple authorized repair place in the Sawgrass Mills Mall called OneClick before I went to STG Repairs. I'm telling you now... go DIRECTLY to STG Repairs! They were the only ones who took the time to diagnose the problem and give me REAL answers. They actually cared about helping me. Do not, I REPEAT, do not waste your time with any other place! The other two places just wanted me to buy a whole new logic board for my iPhone and kept telling me that all the data on the phone was gone and there's nothing they can do. I took it to STG Repairs and they were able to extract all my important data! Within a week, Armando was able to diagnose, retrieve my pictures and videos and transfer them onto a high quality USB drive. Diana and the support staff were total professionals and extremely KNOWLEDGEABLE about the repairing process. They informed me of what was going on every step of the way. They were incredibly helpful and I was treated with nothing but respect throughout the whole process. STG is a one of a kind repair shop. The owner replaced a micro fuse on a very intricate, high end motherboard while I waited. Their workshop is state of the art and one wall Is glass so I got to watch him do it. In the past I have been quoted and paid upwards of $300.00 for the service he performed and I had to wait a minimum of two weeks. At STG I paid less than a third of that and it was done while I waited. The glass wall also ensures no suspicion of bait and switch tactics that so many people worry about. read more

I've been taking my Ipad and cell phones to STG repairs for about a year. Lili and other staff have always received me with a smile. They're experienced repair techs and have fixed my screens, flash , and even the camera lense on my iPhone. They are also very reasonably priced. I was not very impressed by their lack of professionalism. The tech told me to return in about an hour for my phone so I did. They called me said my phone was ready but if I didn't get there before they. Closed I would have to wait until Monday. I go in and they make me wait, I think to myself I thought it was ready? Th technician comes to warn me my phone has some water damage and Rudy inside. She goes on to say I don't even know how it turned on. (Mind you the screen was just cracked so it was a replacement). I say okay. I'm here thinking she s just warning me so she tells me she will close my phone and returns within a minute with my phone. It was tested and it worked fine so I leave. In about an hour the LCD starts messing up on me with the colors on half the screen but then goes back to normal. Very odd. I take it in to speak to technician and sure enough she tells me well I warned you. I'm like yes you told me it was messed up but I was under the assumption it had already been done and it was ready to go. She tells me she hadn't changed screen when she spoke to me. I tell her that was not clear and if she were professional she would have told me you know what it's not worth changing because it would basically not work. But no charge me $120 with a a screen protector and all. Then suggests so I would not write a poor review to change back to a cracked screen and she would return my money. I'm like okay. I am told o return next day because they were closing. I return the next day and she brings out receipt and all where it said they were not responsible for my phone damaging. Mind you now my camera audio doesn't work well either. She's like I can show you video when you said it was fine. I'm like I don't need you to bring that stuff in my face. You are either going to change my screen back to how it was before or you are not. Well if I change your screen your phone won't work. I'm like why would I even change it then? That doesn't make sense. The solution you claim to be offering is not a SOLUTION because I will basically end up phoneless. I walk out and tell he I simply won't be returning. Horrible place. They managed to fix one problem and make another. When I tried speaking to management about it he was unreasonable and responded with "I told you the phone could end up with other issues if you wanted to fix it" . First of all I was never told this. I mean why leave my phone there after that comment ? and then he said he can fix the new issue created by the technician but would have to charge me. I truly had an awful experience. read more
