I have been going to this place for 15 years to get tires, window tints etc... i send family here... I paid for new tires and window tint and picked it up and there was bubbles everywhere on the tint (which there normally isn't). the service guy pulls out a credit card and tries to smooth them out. I leave because I was heading out of town. it only got worse. and once rolling my window down after 2 days there were bubbles all over and the tint is a half inch short from the top of my window. Also my tire sensors don't work now . they also didn't give me my tires back like I requested. It looks like Stevie Wonder tinted my windows. what is going on here??? I went with snows to have my coilovers installed and have some LED lighting installed. There was some minor fixes with the lights I had to return the car to them for after the initial install which was unfortunate. But they were great with communication and got me in and out as there was room on the calendar without messing up other clients which I was fine with. read more

I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt after an inicial good impression. Believe the reviews. Customer service is very forced and feels bare minimum if that at all. When getting quoted for a job they did not come look at the car and the new part I wanted to install so I either thought they were confident they know what they're doing/talking about, but no. They assumed it was a part different than discussed and didn't realize it would require more work than replacing the original part. They then asked for more time mid job and an increase in the job's cost (from what I originally agrred and signed for. I returned at a later date to ask how much it would be to finish and they said since the bumper has to come off, it would take around 2 hours of labor, so the cost would be $300. The original tech had told me he had everything routed for me to finish wiring "without" taking the bumper off. So either it takes them a ridiculous amount of time to take a bumper off I could do in much less than an hour, or they're lying about things and can't keep their stories straight. No wonder I've walked in while they argued on the phone with someone. read more

We can see why Snow's Auto has such terrible reviews. Snow's must have exchanged hands over the years. We called them to have a Ford cruise control added to our F150. I asked for a Ford cruise control, not an after market nightmare one. They required payment in full over the phone to even get us scheduled to have it installed. In past years this was never how they did business. But, we thought from work in previous years, we could trust them. After ordering and scheduling and paying in full... the date comes up to have the cruise control installed... we get a call about an hour before appointment time and they had to reschedule... so we did. So we dropped off the pickup on the new date/time. When we picked it up, we found an aftermarket type of cruise control installed!?!? So, we decided that the young man, just misunderstood what we asked for... a Ford cruise control... and decided to drive with it! We learned quickly... that the one installed is installed in a poor location on the steering column... and that it functions very inconsistently. Where it is located, the driver cannot see when it's on, nor any part of it. So we memorized the functions... but, that didn't matter because the device malfunctions constantly. It speeds up to excessive speeds randomly and also just stops working randomly. After looking up this device online... they charged us an exorbitant amount of money for it and its installation. Had asked if they worked on after market led lights and they said they did. They could not get them to work the first day and as I had been sitting there so long, they asked I return the next day, which I did. On the second day, appeared all was good, however, I had no high beams. Some special harness was ordered so I went back a couple days later, no luck. Tech advised to have dealer check ro be sure a switch and tipm be checked and the dealership called as "these wires have been butchered". They did not want to work on it, so I asked them to return to factory lights to a grand total of $1,864.00. I was appalled at the wiring, they did. If you can't fix it, don't pretend like you can, or do. Now when I called today, they tell me there is no Mike that works there, however, he is the owner and I had been told he would be there. Paid up front but got a floor model install... but it didn't work and I heard a lot of "this truck is really testing me" and "man I really don't like this truck". Then I was asked "did your backup camera work before?" Seriously all confidence in your business ever touching a car of mine in the future, gone. But the thing that really pisses me off Jose, is that you, my guy, sold me this. I asked about the radio deal that you had and you said yup! Never heard about the radio sale again. You called and confirmed the appointment with me. You didn't mention I was getting a USED unit at that time, did you? Nope, I literally walked into the room with displays and saw the one I liked was gone... instantly pissed off. Also getting charged for dumb stuff your installers need for literally every job... My kids having been bugging me for a screen player forever something that they can stream from Netflix or Hulu. So I decided to surprise them and get one installed. I bought a DVD Wi-Fi headset for with headphones for my car that cost me $1200. The guys that installed it actually couldn't get it to work the day OF and just told me to read the manual once I got home?! Okay... After a week of trying the system would not work properly. Can't steam from my iPhone to headset I tried on several different phones newer and older models. Nothing? I drove by one day and a tall older guy came out and I explain the situation that I wasn't able to stream from my device to the headset and then he told me in a shouting voice that he wants to see me stream from my phone I told him that is the issue and why is he yelling at me!!! I asked to speak with Tyler and he was super friendly trying to work with us but he wasn't able to stream either on a Apple device. So I return the system and was refunded only $750 the rest of the money I had to just eat it. Super disappointed their customer service is not very good. Buyer beware. Snows staff was welcoming and the holiday specials were very good, however The quality of install on my truck wasn't very pleasing. Only took 2 hours to tint all my windows. When I got home that night I saw a microfiber In between the tint on my driver side. They rescheduled me to get tinted again. Only to leave some bubbles in my tint still after being redone. Also the front passenger is cut 1/4 inch short of the actual glass edge. Big eyesore when I have the windows down as it doesn't match the rear. I understand people make mistakes and things happen, but there has got to be some quality control and final inspections before handing the keys back over. I had a level kit, big tires, and front window tint done. In and out in one day, short delay on getting tires in due to supply chain delays. Honestly the best experience I've ever had with any kind of shop. Aftermarket, repair shop, tire store etc. hands down great experience, best I've ever had. I just bought a used 2017 F150. I was happy with the truck when I bought it, but Snow's turned it into my dream truck. The price was more than fair, I'd be surprised if they didn't lose money on me. I'm so happy with the work they did, the communication (Dell gave me his personal number and was super quick to respond), the price, super friendly etc. I am going to recommend Snow's to all my friends, and will go to them for everything from here on out. I have a 2007 Tundra Crew Max and the speaker in the box behind the driver's side back seat was ripped. I went to Snow's Auto to get a quote to have it replaced. They told me there is "no such thing as a replacement speaker that mounts into the stock speaker enclosure." They then gave me a quote for a $1200 replacement job, which included a new speaker, a new speaker enclosure box, etc. They a bunch of liars. On Amazon, I purchased a "Pioneer 8" Slim 700W 2 OHM SUBWOOFER" for $115 delivered and it was a PERFECT, SCREW IN REPLACEMENT! Saved $1085 + tax and avoided getting screwed by these scamming liars. I submitted a request for a quote for window tinting online, and lo & behold, two hours later, my car was being picked up, taken to the shop and the windows tinted. Ordered custom steps for my truck. Was told it would arrive in a week. After 3 calls over a week period after they were suppose to arrive, they told me that they couldn't find the order and that they would have to call back in a few minutes. Never got a call back until after the 3rd call and threatening to have my money refunded. You would think on a custom order, you would have tracking info at anytime. Would not recommend them. Finally got told that they were in. Made the appointment to have them put on. I go and drop off my truck and leave it there for 2+ hours, it's what they said it would take to out them on, and get there after 2 hours and they told me that they couldn't put them on because the custom ones they ordered that they pulled up by the VIN #, measured for the steps to fit, and that they ordered, won't fit and that I have to order the upgraded ones to fit my truck. Already shelling out $700 for the steps, waiting 3 weeks for them to arrive, and being told that they won't fit, now I have to wait another week and make another appointment in my busy schedule to drop it back off again. This has been a terrible first experience with them. I won't go back and recommend not coming here. Now after a month of waiting, still nothing to let me know that my sidesteps were in. I called Snows Auto to issue me a refund due to the horrible service I've gotten from them and Brian helped me, who was the original salesman to begin with, and he said that he can't refund me my money and that there was no manager that I can speak to. So this first and only experience was a horrible experience for me and I really don't recommend Snows Auto, their shady sales tactics, inability to follow up with their customers, and their attitude when you ask for a refund. read more

We recently bought a new radio system for our 08 Dodge pickup. The installation didn't go as originally planned, the system was not working the way they told us it would. However they did everything that needed to be done to make it work right. They had to order a different wiring harness, and had us come in the following week to install it. They did not charge us anything extra, to get it working. They stuck to the original price quote and we are very happy with their service. We will go back again. read more

I need to install some professional mounting systems in my car, so I came here and I decided to give Snow's auto another try this morning. I walked in less than an hour after they opened and saw three employees standing behind the counter. One politely asked me what I was looking for. I said dash cam or GoPro mounts for in my car. I use the word camera butI tried to also explain that I'm looking for mounts that are professional. He said they don't carry anything. I said, I you do carry Dash cams?he said I have some. Right next to me on the counter were some professional looking mounting systems. Then He answered the phone. The reason I come, or try to, was for customer service so I can get a feeling that I'm a customer and buy things. Every time I've come over a few years I leave in frustration. Made an appointment for a custom made box for two 10s and wiring an Lc2i. After getting back home I realize I didn't have the plugs for the Lc2i I called and was assured by the person I spoke with they had them. Showed up for my appointment and they don't carry the plugs. I ask them if they could get them they said no. I went down the road to Aspen Sounds they said they could order them but it wouldn't come in until they got their next shipment but looked up on their computers and told me how to get them and it would be cheaper to order them myself. I will be going to Aspen to finish the wiring of the Lc2i. I brought with me the two 10s with two wire terminals, when they finished the box they only had one terminal and it wasn't one they I gave them. When I asked about them wiring down to one terminal I was told I should know what my amp is (1 channel or 2) and that if my speakers cut out then bring it back and they will fix it. My amp was in my vehicle when they took it to fit the box. I didn't get either of the two I gave them back. Made a down payment of $200 on a quote for custom box (250) and Lc2i installation (120). Finished with my appointment with only custom box made and purchase RCA wires and paid an additional $138 that's $134 for RCAs. Customer service was great the final product looks good. That's the only reason for 1 Star. read more

Overheard a conversation regarding him calling in a work vehicle into an employer due to them being in the parking lot. I heard that the new management of this establishment has improved things...guess not. I purchased a stereo for my girlfriend for christmas with the full install. Payed $440 for it. At the time I was told that if we wanted to upgrade to a double din apple carplay stereo with a back up camera, it would be about 200. 100 for the upgrade in the deck and 100 to install the camera. So, we opted to do so. When we picked up the car, it was 240...pretty close. To our amazement tho there was no backup camera. When we asked about it, we were told it would be an additional 220 for a backup camera. Huh!!! The manager had a ton of excuses why the 200 upgrade would now cost 460. But they were all just that, excuses. This is not a way to operate a business. This is unfortunate, because I have a amp that was improperly installed there a ways back. I was going to take it in to be done correctly and now I don't even trust them with my car. Booo to you, Snows. An agreement should be an agreement. read more

Bought in my brand new truck for window tinting, front driver & front passenger window along with the front windshield. January 2020. Front windshield: when wearing sunglasses, Weird tint of colors show. Dirty tinting or cheap material. Driver side window: At the very top of my window has a small chip & the tint has like scratch marks in three different places which is also at the top of the window. Same area. Brand new truck handle: driver side ends up with a small but Noticeable slice cut. Told manager & showed him right away , he saw the slice, The employee denied it. Snows Auto employee put tape across my window buttons (up & down). Told me I had to wait for 4 days before I could open my windows due to tinting & tape for a reminder "do not use". because of weather It was longer then the 4 days. The employee didn't use scissors for the tape being put across my window buttons which is so so close to my door handle. Make a long story short, I never received a call back from the manager. Snows auto will not replace my truck window. Not going to fix the chip in my window, the window tinting. Or the slice on door handle. Snows Auto Company said, that I open the window prior to the four days. Brand New Truck, really... I don't think so. Zero Stars if I could!! I would not take any vehicle there unless The vehicle is worth less than $500 and you're willing to pay over $200 hundred spin the wheel, take a chance to have your windows tinted by Snows Auto. Good God. How this place stays in business is beyond me. Don't even think of having your windows tinted here. Shoddy workmanship and lack of attention to detail. We had to take the car back to get two windows redone due to the lousy quality of work done. They had also taken the door panels apart and not bothered to fully reassemble them before returning them to us. There was soapy runs and residue all over the inside. Jesus Christ, how about spending 2 minutes with a rag cleaning up after yourself or putting the car back together. Never again. Maybe the 20 year olds with hondas are keeping this place open by buying crappy neon lights for their hoopties, but anybody with common sense should avoid this douche-trap. read more

I agree with a previous poster's comment regarding window tinting...they are horrible! I knew there was a reason they were the lowest price in town. Not only did they do a less than stellar job on the tint but the mess they left was unacceptable. No wonder they have a Lifetime Warranty on their tint, they know they will need to re-do it! Question for them, if you don't have time to do it right the first time, what makes you think you will have time to re-do it? Unfortunately for me, it does not end there. They damaged pices of my interior (door panel parts mainly) as a result of the lack of attention to detail or not knowing how to handle the parts they remove (more than likely a combination of both). 2 months later and still no remedy. Anyone can have a one off experience with any business or restaurant. People use Yelp to rant. It's time that tells. I've gone to Snow's over 10 years and with 3 separate cars for a wide variety of stereo, window tint and after market engine, exhaust and all manner of weird thing that every single other shop in Spokane, and now Seattle either couldn't fix, figure out or was willing to touch. This includes Hopkins, Best Buy, Car Toys and a long litany of others. Snow's fixed and upgraded what the others could not and would not. Now, no longer living in the area, I still take my car to Snow's. Although management has changed, they still do try to do their best. Stealerships won't work on my car and local shops only specialize in stock vehicles. So I go to Snow's. Don't be put off by the low scores. People who know, know. Would you trust someone who spent $200 on a putting tint on their windows or $15k over 10 years on upgrades? read more

Me and my husband went to have them adjust our amp and deck and not even 20-30 mins later the voice coil on our sub caught fire. When I contacted them they laughed at me and said good luck getting us to replace it.. that's not right I'm a hard working person and I feel that they should replace the sub for free as it was their fault.. they wanted to charge me for a new sub not even worth what my P2 is worth.. A while back I went to Snow's with what I thought was a serious headlight issue as I have the "projector type" headlights on my 2015 F-350 SD Diesel, and I was having serious electrical issues with one of them. If you've ever looked under the hood of one of those you need a Doctorate in auto technology to understand it. I brought my truck in and Snow's had the issue traced to a loose ground wire PDQ. They were honest, called me right back told me the issue and it was resolved and only charged for the very minimal shop time used. There was every opportunity to pad the books with a little extra time or materials but they did not. They had just won a loyal customer. I'm not sure about "rudeness" I've read in other people's posts. I've been to the shop on multiple occasions and only overheard excellent customer service, same as I have experienced. My suggestion is if this is what is in fact what occurred, consider a second visit or call. In my experience, this is absolutely out of the norm and they are certainly worth a second try. I wish I would have read the reviews before I chose to have my car worked on here. We informed Brian over the phone we were coming into town and needed a hitch installed ASAP and I needed a quote for everything id need to tow a trailer. They told me they'd have the hitch by Thursday (because of covid) and it was Friday, so they scheduled me in for Thursday at 2pm. On Tuesday I called to ask what type of light connection they were supplying so I could make sure I had the right one, and they told me I wasn't on their schedule, but they scheduled me in for 3pm instead. So come Thursday I call in to make sure the part was in and everything was good and they tell me that "good thing I called because the part was coming in Friday" and they could schedule me in for 11am. I get a text message 10 mins later saying I'm scheduled for 11:30am. So finally I go in Friday, drop my car off ( they told me it was like about an hour or so wait). I went for a walk and came back about an hour in. Didn't expect it to be done so I sat in the waiting area. After about 2 hrs I ask how much time is left. They say like 20 mins and that the job was harder than they thought.... so 30 mins later it's done. I go look at the car and there's no stinger/ball. I go ask about that and they told me that wasn't part of the sale they quoted me. I argued that the whole point of taking it in was to have everything ready and installed. After a moment of looking annoyed and frustrated Brian tells his employee to give me the cheapest product they have. So I leave and when I get to where we're staying I start to notice parts of the bumper not properly re-installed clips half way out, and the area where the hitch comes through the bumper that needed to be cut looks horrible. All bent up. All they needed to do was cut the area slightly bigger, but they chose to present their work as terribly done as it was. I'm going to have to take the bumper back off at some point and make sure it's perfectly aligned so it doesn't start to slowly fall down. I also have to re-cut around the hitch so the bumper falls properly the way it's supposed to. It should be their responsibility to fix it, but I don't even want to take it back in and end up with more problems. I wish there was an area to add pictures. I should have just ordered the parts and done it myself for half the price. Uhaul quoted me $350 for everything but This place was almost $500 without the stinger and ball mount/ installation. If you like paying up the ass for easy installations and like to have shitty results, Snows Auto is the place to go. read more
