Great experience here! Went in to get my windshield replaced, cheaper than anywhere else I looked and they got me in and out quick. While I was there I had an idea of getting the decal below put on, Don was a pleasure to work with, excellent communication from emails all the way until it was finished. Update: I was asked "how can we make this right?" and I told him that, over the last 2 weeks of me going back and forth and STILL having 2/3 of the reasons i went in there originally not completed, I believe he should discount me. He offered me something like $30.00 off the total. I don't know anyone who wouldn't take this as an insult. I told him if you want to make this right, discount me $150 off the total and arrange for somebody to come and do this during my working hours, as i'd already spent 12 hours + without my trucking during weekdays. I said that if he did a good job here, and went above and beyond to atone for what i'd dealt with already, YES, I would still give a good review as I want to see local businesses succeed, and if the work was exemplary, even more reason to try to overlook the past. Sadly, this was a terrible experience and he's now trying to point the finger back at me for having paid in full originally and then went through hell and highwater to make this possible for THEM to complete. So I took my 4Runner in to get the windows tinted. The guy at the desk asked what type tint I wanted. I told him I wanted the darkest possible, I didn't want anyone to be able to see in, so I looked up at the options above and wanted to go with the vortex 5. He then proceeded to tell me that unless I had experience with super dark tint he recommended I don't go with it. I proceeded to tell him I've had super dark tint on my other vehicles and it wasn't a problem. Then he tells me oh well actually the owner won't allow the vortex 5 to be placed on the windows....ok so why in the world is it up on the board as an option?!? Also again was told he didn't recommend it unless I had experience, to which I did. So I said umm ok weird then what do you recommend I get since I can't get the darkest tint, again I don't want people to be able to see in. He tells me the vortex 15 would work for what I wanted. So instead of arguing, I said sure. It gets done, I get my vehicle back at 4:45, mind you when the sun is going down and it's super cloudy outside, you can't see through, perfect! Onto the next day the sun is shining and you can literally see straight through the windows, it looks like a factory tint job, not what I asked. So literally the next day I email them expressing my concerns and to see what we can do to fix it. Days go by, nothing from them, more days go by and still nothing. Try calling them and nothing. So now I paid $400 for a tint job that I do not like and isn't anything close to what I asked for and probably would of been better off not having it done. So I'm guessing now I can go to the actual store and throw a fit like a child or leave a one star review, hope nobody has to go through the same thing and now go spend a couple hundred dollars at another tint company to actually get what I'm looking for. WOW! I took my 2011 F-350 in to them. Initially spoke with Zack who steered me in the right direction of which tonneau cover to get. So knowledgable in fact with incredible customer service that while having the tonneau cover done I decided that I wanted these guys to also put on a bumper replacement, and train horn, and change out the headlight bulbs to some new Piaa Xtreme white bulbs as well as place some absolutely AWESOME LED fog lamps. After speaking with Don who specializes in artwork for banner and vehicle wraps (among other things) I am having them also do a new banner for my dinner seminars! I can't say enough great things about all the guys there. Gary showed me around their new building which they're moving into over the next few days while the finishing touches were being done. All these guys here are absolutely awesome. Anytime I need anything else done, I will go out of my way to have Solar Eclipse do it!!! They take the time to do what needs to be done the right way the first time. A very rare concept in today's society. The President and owner even got under the truck to install my train horn. I had a hitch put on my brand new car at Solar Eclipse. When wiring it they damaged my hood by trying to close it with the support arm still up. Now they won't fix it and claim I brought it in damaged--at one point even claiming I had pointed out the damage when I brought it in. I know it wasn't there because no one else had been under the hood since we bought it AND I had just washed and hand-dried it. After over a month of claiming he'll work on it and take care of it, now the owner will not fix it. Handy for him that our credit card has already paid them for the hitch. The work they do may normally be fine, but if something goes wrong you're on your own! My hood has to be completely replaced, costing over $1000.00. read more
