This is a terrible online site and i would not recommend it. I saw ad for car part and i sent message to them asking if they had this same part for slightly less. The part was over $150, but since other sellers had for a little less i asked for the same. The other sellers take a month to ship, but price is better. I also just wanted to confirm it fits my vehicle and i gave description. I got response saying we domnt lower our prices, and didnt even try and locate part for a little less. If they had any clue on how to do business the proper way they could have knocked off 10% just to make me a customer. I buy parts all the time so they didnt just lose $150 sale, they lost thousands. And more importantly answered we cannot confirm if part fits your vehicle. Really? I have been looking for a parts for my car for over 3 months. I looked at their site. It was simple to look up my part. I called them and spoke to Braydon. He was very helpful. He even sent me pictures of the part. I had ordered the part before and it wasn't the right part so I wanted to make sure this time. He told me he would call me back, and he did! I called to purchase rear shock absorbers for my 2015 Chevrolet Spark EV August 2024 (installed on September 1, 2024) . Unfortunately, I did not check on the mileage on the replacements, and while traveling on the bumpy causeway at 65 miles an hour (March 26, 2025), almost lost control of my car. I thought my car needed to be realigned, so upon completion, I found out the rear shock absorbers had collapsed and my struts needed to be replaced. The rear shock absorbers are just outside of the 6-month warranty, and may not qualify for a replacement. I also will need to bring my car back in to replace the entire suspension system! (Just after replacing the rear shock absorbers 5 months ago!) When I called into Spalding Auto Parts, they attempted to sell a 2014 Strut for the driver's side. I soon found out that looking online would allow additional information on the amount of mileage for each part. The 2014 Strut has over 100k miles on it! I am waiting for a call back to clear up the past purchase and to increase the length of time on the 6-month warranties. This is a nightmare I do not want to experience again. read more

I went to Spalding wrecking today looking for a part for a friends 2001 suburban, I wasn't sure what I was looking for but the young man Riley was very knowledgeable about the vehicles we were looking at. They would not sell just the rims, so they charged me close to $50 for 2 rims and tires, the tires had the wire sticking out of them and had no tread, i talked to the manager and he said the prices was the same regardless. I told the manager i will never buy anything from them again. read more

i have bought parts from spailding's for 30+ years,but lately i had nothing but problems with there used parts.there quality control is terrible,there parts fail almost immediately.there warranty is worthless as you just end up getting a refund after months of trying to fix there inferior part from the start.there prices are outrageous and there are no other competitors for domestic parts.they are causeing one of biggest environmental hazard in the spokane valley,oil just dumps out of there vehicles which are on top of spokane valley aquifer.after they received millions from covid relief and keep them in business just to take advantage of working man years later.i wouldn't recommend doing business with the spailding's family as they don't care about anything but money.i have loss $10,000's of dollars because of them in loss of use,down time,inferior quality parts which they sell know are bad.there solution is there refund,but your time is worth nothing to any spailding's family. read more

I went here 3x for the same part. 1st time I got the wrong one (miscommunication). 2nd time i got the right one, but after i got home realized there was a crack in it (in an inconspicuous spot). 3rd time i went back they didnt have another one in stock. Such is life! All that aside, each time i went in the service was amazing. The last two times i came in i worked with Davin. When i exchanged the first part he was apologetic and kind, and just exchanged the parts (i think the right part was slightly more $). When i came back the 3rd time, not only did he remeber me, he also double checked the yard himself after the runner couldn't find the part just to make sure. When I was first helped by a customer service employee, Ethan I was told that they didn't have the part and he was kurt and seemed annoyed to be there, as if I was inconveniencing him by asking him a question. He was a bit condescending. But luckily for me I asked another employee who looked up the part for me and told me that they did in fact have what I was looking for. I was taken out to the yard by another employee, Theo who helped me and pulled the part for me. He was friendly and professional and even offered to help me install the part. I was referred to them by a parts place near me, He said they had a good rep....so I called, they had the part, I ordered it, gave all required information to complete the transaction. "Colton" said it would ship and be there in 3 days, so after 3 days it's a "no show" I call to get a tracking number....UHHH says "Colton" that was for a ??...Oh he says, I didn't have the correct phone number so I couldn't process the credit card (what does your phone number have to do with running a CC?... nothing I do it all the time) So needless to say someone else sold the part, I had to start from scratch on tracking another one down, got lucky, found one at LKQ (I would suggest calling them first). read more

Customer service is friendly enough, but whatever yahoo replaced the window on my 86 El Camino did a terrible job! Doesn't seem to be on the track properly and leaves a gap when rolled up. A few days after the replacement, my door got stuck shut. Spoke to Jesse who said they did the best they could, but my regulator was jacked up from someone being in my door panel previously. If they didn't think I'd go on YouTube and figure out how to fix this crap myself, they are sorely mistaken! They didn't hook my locking mechanism back up correctly, hence why I could open my door and there's nothing wrong with my regulator... But they did skip over fixing a part on the window I purchased from them, which is the only reason I had them install in the first place. I might use them for parts in the future, but wouldn't let them touch my car again! Lazy fibbers. PS they did return my money... But ultimately caused a huge headache read more

I live in Bellingham WA and no one there or Seattle had what I was looking for after the 2 month looking and waiting to see if something would pop up nothing.. First call was Spalding auto parts and boy was it a great first call.
