After a terrible experience at the other location I decided to try this one. So glad that I did. It is located in a fairly new small plaza, and unlike the other location this one is much easier to access and has a lot more parking available. The shop is clean, and nicely decorated and has a pleasant ambiance. The woman working was friendly and greeted me right away. I ordered a dozen kolaches and a dozen donuts since I had company in town. She offered to warm the kolaches, and despite my 10 minute drive home they were still warm after my drive. Donuts were all delicious, light, and fresh. The kolaches were also delicious and fresh as well. I would highly recommend this Snowflake donut shop over the other, and will return in the future. read more

I have been getting my haircut next door for over a year and been able to resist the temptation to check this place out until today. I was not disappointed. They have an excellent selection of cake donuts that all looked great. Many options for future visits. Today I had a real urge for an apple fritter which was superb. Made just right with the slightly crispy outside with the warm soft inside but not too doughy or chewy. Excellent amount of actual apple in the fritter topped it off. Service was quick and friendly. Small seating area if you wanted to eat there. Definitely a lot of great choices for multiple visits. This will definitely be a part of my Saturday haircut routine from now on. This location and the Main St store are our 'go to' spot for donuts in Boerne. They are extra light, similar to Krispy Kreme, and have a great variety of toppings. The cake donuts are just as delicious as the yeast based. Some of our family favorites include the bacon maple, Boston cream, blue berry cake, and crullers. Our first time at Snowflake Donuts & They were very good .... I can't say too much about variety as when we got there at 7 am they only had these and turnovers. That's why we can only give we figured at that time of morning we would have huge selection. But , can say that turnovers Apple and cherry were still warm and flaky dough was worth going back. And I loved the strawberry donut plus it was pink There were 8 employees so no wait. Hope next time we can try other options. Might be worth ordering ahead or online if that's a option. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is due to the fact when you pay with a card, you're handed a receipt and told to sign. There is no signature, only a tip line. I still really like the place but both my wife and my daughter were sort of grossed out by the change to the bacon in the croissant with egg and bacon. They both said it had a decidedly non-bacon taste to it. My wife thinks maybe something like Worcestershire sauce. My daughter thought it was a little sweet and off-putting. I tried both of their sandwiches. I couldn't put my finger on the flavor but it didn't really taste like one normally expects bacon to taste. Overall, the place still rocks. Not a bad place to go for breakfast They have a large selection of kolaches, croissants and donuts. I've had nothing but polite workers and I like that hey have a drive through. Cool little place. My only complaints are this place runs out of certain kolaches quickly or it's not ready when I get there usually and it could be because I get there around 6 am usually. They have a very small selection. It is frustrating that this is the only doughnut store close. If you aren't there when they open, and have completed making the daily call ahead orders you most likely won't get what you want. Also, they are closed on Sundays. read more
