Showed up at 3:00 pm on a Saturday, very busy. Parking a bit dodgy, but found a spot. Full bar. Outdoor seating on picnic tables. Lots of families and dogs, dj kept the music going. Five food trucks, from Mexican to Asian to Cajun to Greek. Wanted to try something from each truck, but settled on a muffuletta and cajun potato salad. Folks with me went sushi and Asian. We enjoyed all of our meals. The chicken teriyaki was a huge portion; enough for 2. There were several playgrounds for kids, and a small building with restrooms, a couple tables, and they sold snacks in there (ice cream!). We enjoyed our first time visiting the Point Park so much we are planning to bring our friends next time! There was ample parking and plenty of seating, we grabbed a picnic bench under a big shade tree to watch the dogs people bring. They have a walk up beer and wine bar with a great selection of craft beers! Their 32 ounceers were challenging !There were four food trucks to choose from, they have a schedule on their website, we ordered tacos from Monky's and we're happy we did! The park itself is great. It's one of my favorite places for dinner (if the weather is nice) mostly because of the laid back vibes. If you go at the wrong time, it can be hard to find parking, but I love their whole setup: covered and uncovered picnic tables, a bar, a coffee shop inside, a playground for kids, and live music every so often. I believe it is also dog friendly, and there have been dog treat food trucks in the past. The food: from my experiences, there are usually 3-5 different trucks. Some have been there every time I've gone, some rotate out. The ones I've always seen have been a New York truck that offers things like Gyros and Philly cheesecakes, an Asian truck that offers Thai food and sushi, and Monky's which offers awesome Tortas among other Mexican dishes. I think there's also a barbecue truck that comes around often, though I haven't tried that one. The trucks can be a bit pricey, but it's not exactly unexpected at a place like that. read more

Great spot for date night or family when everyone has different cravings! My boyfriend does not like sushi (what a crime) so with the option of having it here and still having options for him and his daughter, we opted for this neat spot! His daughter is 7 years old so she enjoyed the playground that is available. This is a cool place where you can drink beer and wine and then you order from many of the different options of restaurants nearby. We ordered from the pizza place and it was delicious and they let us know when exactly to go pick up our order and we took it back to have more wine. My brother and his wife ordered from Golden Lotus Tai restaurant and they are regulars so they actually brought their order to them. It was all delicious and would recommend this when your group can't decide on what to eat then everyone can pretty much get what they want. The atmosphere was nice and not so busy on a Friday night. This is an awesome get away. I like the open ambience, shaded areas, beer on tap, variety of food (a bit pricey) and the best part is live music sometimes. They could arrange for more seating, as I've seen not enough couples seating v/s 4-6 size family seating. Adequately spaced garbage bins and chicken fence around perimeter will prevent trash from flying around with the wind in to the creek. I would really like to see a sidewalk with bicycle path safe from traffic. That would get more Stage Run people more outdoorsie and give them good business. read more

A lot of food truck parks are inconsistent with posting an accurate food truck schedule! Bartenders are always prompt and provide great service. Beer is a little expensive but it keeps them running. This is a hidden gem for the Boerne/fair-oaks area. This place has very good prices for drinks and also a large play area for kids that's fenced in, also they have a DJ on some evenings that mostly caters to the kids. The food trucks are superd and they seem to stay in place. I passed this place up for 2 years before I finally stopped and realized what I was missing. This place is such a cool spot to hang out! I've came during the week to get away from home and just drink a beer by myself. I've also came on the weekend with the family and we all seem to enjoy it for many reasons. 1. OPTIONS!! You have the NYC red truck that has delicious Gyro pitas and Philly Cheesesteaks! The Thai Lotus has yummy mango sticky rice and delicious spring rolls. My go to is the Mexican food truck with tacos Al pastor, birria ramen or the tortas! I order my food with a side of grilled serranos and grilled onions (don't forget to get extra red sauce!) . 2. Beer!! They have a wide selection of beers on draft or in a can. I saw a group of Moms get a bucket of wine lol and I saw a group of Dads with a bucket of beers. That's the cool thing here, you'll find something! 3. My kiddos always run into friends from school and the music genre is effortlessly awesome! They have such a random playlist for example, one song will be classic rock then it'll go to pop. The Point - what a disappointment. Used to go here all the time, hang out, and support the food trucks which do a great job adding to the variety and culture of the park. Black Dog has great food, Louisiana style with classic beignets that he does so well. The beignets go great with frozen coffee as demonstrated by the beignet experts at Cafe dumonde located in New Orleans. The Point does not sell frozen coffee. We tried The Point's iced coffee once and it was too bitter and not satisfying. So we adopted a habit of purchasing frosted coffee from Chick Fil-A and enjoying our beignets right there at the park while our kid played on the playground. We were approached by a disgruntled employee cleaning tables that as an "FYI", we were not allowed to bring in outside food and beverages and not to do that again despite any good reasoning that we have. We can understand The Point in this regard if it were to apply to alcoholic beverages or something to that matter. We were repeat customers and supporters of The Point but yet being forced to purchase drinks that are dissatisfactory only to be allowed the opportunity to dine at The Point. Sorry but this is putting a "forced hand" on your customers against their will. We will not tolerate nor support this deposition. Unfortunately, we will not be coming back and will miss the many good food trucks. Thanks for the good times and sorry we had to experience the disappointment at The Point! read more

We sample the lobster roll, Asian, and fully loaded fried. Everything was delicious! Love this place it's only a couple of miles from us. We like going on the weekends there's usually someone singing. We like the New York Xpress food truck it's not the food you thought it would be and it's delicious. We always order the lamb chicken plate that comes with delicious rice, we always look at their website to see what food trucks are there. The bartenders are awesome and always so nice and helpful a big variety of beer choices as well. There's an area for kiddos to play. Seems to be pet friendly, but dogs need to stay on a leash, there is a TV in the bar area if you want to watch sports it's very shaded and lots of tables. read more

Yummy food trucks in a comfortable outdoor setting. Everything from a full serviced bar to barbecue, turkey legs, burgers, gyros, falafels, taquitos, and everything in between. I got a delicious (huge) chicken gyro; my husband a burger a fries. Food was prepared quickly and was delicious. Loved the setting. Plenty of food. Not cheap. Maybe you know - why is food truck food typically so expensive? There's no overheard like buildings, leases, servers, bussers, Albanian mobsters...what gives??? A few misses here this day! Patroned around 4 PM on a 95 degree Saturday. Not many folks there and that's likely due to the heat and it being between peak dining times. Lots of shady seating though and thankful that the music they play isn't ear-piercingly loud. The first truck (Gus' Colombian Cuisine) we wanted to order from was closed. Lights were on, window was open, but no one was home. We stood there for a minute like doofuses since there wasn't a sign saying he was gone or when he'd be back. Strike 1. So, we decided to try a shrimp and lobster roll from Curb. Informed out of brioche rolls so cannot make that item. Strike 2. Settled on a shrimp & lobster club sandwich or whatever it's called. It was good but $19 good? I don't know about that. Plus, there's no discount for paying with cash instead of cc. The other trucks offer that. Got an order of 5 egg rolls from the Pho truck for $6. That guy gets around and never disappoints. Rolls were hot & crispy! Great value! Checked in on Yelp and got a free non-alcoholic drink at the bar - a big glass bottle Coke! There's a cooler on the bar for free water, which was nice. Those were pluses. They have some fans blowing and skeeter spray on some of the tables. The kids liked the play structure and basketball hoop. $4 small lime snocones hurt the wallet, but the kids liked them. Since they didn't earn a third strike, we'll probably revisit when the weather is cooler and closer to lunch or dinner when all the trucks are open and hopefully fully stocked. If it's sold out, then please indicate that on the menu with a sticker or a magnet. If you're closed, then please put out a sign and say when you'll be back. Easy fixes that keep people informed (and happy) before they try to order. read more

This is the place where I've had one of my top 2 fav burritos of all time, and that Is my fav food y'all. Look for the red truck with the pulled pork! Mmm mmm expletive! Secondly, they have some good beers here. They proudly gloated they were one of the few venues in Texas to have Saint Arnold's Pumpkinator - an Imperial pumpkin beer! There is an "open air bar" and a bunch of food truck options. This is for sure a hidden gem. The bar has a wide selection of drinks with a friendly smile.
