Total Wine _ Totally Awesome I want to take a moment to share my heartfelt gratitude to Front End Supervisor Lori and Total Wine Associate Chris for making such a special time in my life even more memorable. As I was preparing for my upcoming wedding, I wasn't very familiar with spirits or selection, but Lori and Chris went above and beyond to guide me through the process. What truly touched me was the warmth they brought to the experience. On my second visit, Lori greeted me with the most genuine hug, something the extrovert in me absolutely loved and as stressful as this planning was, I needed it. She reassured me that she was there to support both my fiancé and me every step of the way. With their thoughtful recommendations and even spirit tastings, what could have been stressful turned into something seamless and joyful. I am deeply grateful for their kindness, patience, and care. They didn't just help me pick out drinks, they made me feel celebrated. Highly Recommended~ read more

What a wonderful experience! From entering and being greeted by an employee to the thank you I received after paying for my purchase, I enjoyed my time spent in the store. The highlight of that customer service was a visit with one of the Bourbon reps. Preparing for the upcoming holiday season I wanted to get the ingredients to make classic cocktails. I was introduced to new cordials, some excellent bourbon and all the accoutrement to go with them. The samples were great too. Yeah, I'll definitely be back. read more

All the Total Wines are about the same. Best prices I have found for bourbon and tequila. They also offer classes in the evenings where you go through a guide tasting of about 8 different spirits. Comes with some kind of appetizer. This one is the location where they get allocated product. I got the call to pick up a Blanton Bourbon last year. I do not like their Grand Reserve allocation events. They had about 200 bottles that could be purchased, but you had to line up at the door by 10 AM on a Saturday. I got their early and there were close to 300 people in line. I would rather they have a lottery and you enter with your preference and they do random picks and call you. read more

I had an amazing experience at Total Wine & More! The store was clean, organized, and had a huge selection to choose from. Every employee I interacted with was friendly and helpful, but I especially want to thank the manager, Melo, for going above and beyond. Melo was professional, welcoming, and made sure I found exactly what I needed. It's rare to find customer service this good nowadays, and it honestly made my shopping experience so much better. You can tell Melo truly cares about the customers and the team. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this location to others! read more

had the best experience at total wine tonight! mac was such a delight and so knowledgable!

You can't beat the selection. But the cherry on top is Pat the wine specialist. She knows were everything is located and has expert knowledge of the different wines. This when combined with a charming, magnetic personality makes her perfect for customer relations and support. Please thank her for me. Mel Mosier read more

They have such a great selection of anything with alcohol. They have a large selection of imported beers as well. A lot that we recognize from our European travels. read more

Total Wine has great wine, beer and spirits selections. If you're looking for something, this is the store that will have it. But this store's location needs some work on customer service. I was offered to go to a register and then I was told they were not open. I moved and then they were apologetic but that is not good customer service. read more

Gosh this place has every type of adult beverage you need to entertain any event from a romantic dinner for two to a fancy dinner party to a weekend at Bernie's! Let's hope it's more of the first two (wink). They certainly have wine and much more. I'm sure I'm not the first to notice. I could literally shop for hours. The wide assortment of wines, liquors, mixers and beers make you want to try one of each! I'm not lying, we started off with a hand held basket and swapped out for a shopping cart. If you're looking for something delicious to serve for that special occasion, this is a great place to find it. If you don't know what your looking for get a recommendation from one of the knowledgeable staff. read more

This location of Total Wine & More is great! The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, the store is clean and they have a wide variety of options- you'll find something for sure! Any time that I've gone in and not known what to get, Hayden (I believe that's her name) has helped me find something to fit my needs! She always takes the time to make good suggestions and is also fun to chat with. I love shopping here to try some of the seasonal items (like spiked egg nog) but also appreciate that they keep my favorites well stocked! read more

I went to E & A Meats this past weekend, thinking that I would try out a small neighborhood butcher for high-quality. I was sorely disappointed! I spent a lot of money for a rack of lamb, and it was the worst rack of lamb I have ever cooked. And I have cooked many over the years. The meat was so tough it was as if we were eating the toughest cut of beef. We could hardly eat it and had to throw much of it away. After that, back to the H-E-B meat market. read more

Horrible experience never going back again. Listen, anything and everything you need is at Total Wine! And I mean it! From Japanese whisky, to Dolly Parton wines, to THC infused Arnold palmers- this place has got it. My favorite part about Total Wine are the staff recommendations (whether they be in person, or tagged on the shelf) I am always encountering friendly staff to lead me in the right direction and not once have they steered me wrong. A place that you can be in and out in no time just as easily as you can spend serious time perusing the shelves, I recommend Total Wine over any other liquor stores in San Antonio, period. read more

I don't often get the chance to go to Total Wine since it's on the other side of town from me. We stopped in yesterday since we were in the area. I just love how you can come here and know that you'll be able to find any unique cocktail ingredient or accessory that may be on your list. And we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of samples available on a Saturday. Will make a point to return regularly, it's worth the drive! read more

This review is about the CLASSES at Total Wine. Did you know that Total Wine has classes? Well let me tell you, they seem to be quite popular because when I was looking to enroll in one online, lots of dates were sold out. If you've been inside any Total Wine, you may have noticed the lovely room in the back with the counter tables and chairs. Here, we experienced "Salud! An introduction to tequila and mezcal". There were two presenters who gave us a two hour lecture on the origins of different tequilas and a couple of mezcals and how they are made and of course there are samples! Oh are there ever samples! We tried 7 tequilas and 2 mezcals and I will just say that the samples are quite generous! They even had some food set up in the back of the classroom for us. And I don't mean some Chips and jarred salsa, I mean chips, salsa rice, chicken and beef fajitas and tortillas. Every tequila and mezcal sampled is available to buy and they do bring in several bottles of each so that you don't have to go searching for them in the store, but there is ZERO pressure to buy anything. All of this was only $20 per person. I enrolled my husband and I for a date night (afternoon) and he is still raving about it to everyone. Excellent value and fun!! read more

Honestly I want to give a big shout to Mike. I walked in the store he greeted me then assisted me what I was looking for. He walked me over the aisle the item was out of stock. I asked him should I try something else but he advised he never tried the drink I was referring to within a seconds into the convo he noticed the original drink I came for was at the top of the shelf, grabbed a ladder and proceeded to give me the bottle. That really made me happy bc I've been looking for this bottle or Rose for a while. Thanks Mike read more

We get everything from everywhere here! If you can't get it they find it for you. The staff is amazing and always helping everyone. Even when I'm not sure what I want they lead me to things from past assignments overseas that I thought we would never enjoy agin. I honestly love the atmosphere of this store. The only bad rating I see is from some joker who lives in Florida. Thanks for complaining about carts Corey C. The prices are the lowest I have found. The employees are there to answer any questions you might have. Great place to shop!

Went to the store in Selma, Texas. They had a great selection and gave excellent service!

So upset because look I get it you have to be strict with under 21 guests but my friends and I are 30 years old and we went to the store were FOLLOWED AROUND and harassed by the general manager the store is ridiculously strict and rude. Every single time I come here I get harassed it's very annoying flattering I guess but geeze no need to chase guests around the store and make them feel uncomfortable.... read more

This is definitely the place to come for liquor! The prices here are great! Stop by here whenever you are low.

This is my favorite store to pick up wine and liquor. It's definitely more customer friendly than specs and has a bigger variety than a grocery store. If you need help picking your wine Clay is your guy to go to he gives great recommendations and he keeps you within your price point last time we went he recommended all six wines for me and we loved them all. We just went today and he recommended some Pinot noir some reds and even some French wine. read more

If you are buying in bulk, read: Staff was great at helping us out but beware that you may not be informed that the store will only refund you $500 cash for returns. The rest will go on a Total Wine gift card. We shopped here for our wedding at the beginning of November 2021 and found out about this local, store policy at the time we were returning the product. It especially impacted us since we were encouraged to buy more alcohol than necessary even after we disclosed our wedding guest count had decreased significantly. Further, the manager reluctantly refunded us in full and hung up the phone on us after we thanked her and were polite. I've always shopped here but may go elsewhere in the future. read more

Can't say enough good things about my recent visit to Total Wine. Jose G. was extremely helpful not only to me but to other customers as well. He knew the store very well and helped customers find exactly what they were looking for. He went out of his way to answer any questions I had while also recommending great things to try right now that I bought and in the future. I love learning about wine and spirits and learned more in the few minutes I was speaking with him than at any distillery. He not only made great suggestions but gave me options at multiple price points and told me how many different drinks I could use them with. I have always loved total wine but this experience really cemented that I will be purchasing all my wine liquor and beer from here going forward. read more

I first learned of Total Wine while living in AZ. I was thrilled to see it move to TX! I drive way out of my way to get here but the savings are well worth it. If you can find lower prices anywhere, please share! I'm not sure you can. The staff are always helpful and know their stuff. I get wine and kegs here. I'm a Costco nut but even Costco's prices don't compare. Caution! Go there on a Saturday and you might walk out buzzed. Think Costco sample stations only liqour! Cheers. read more

They have it all and then some. The place is so well organized and it's huge, the staff know their stuff and are professional. They have huge selection of wine and they have all kinds of Bourbon,Rye,Tequila,Gin,Whiskey and much more from low prices to very expensive like I saw a bottle of Tequila behind a glass cabinet for like $2500! I went there recently to buy Luxardo Cherries for my Old Fashions and I found that they have Humidor with nice selection of premium cigars so it eliminates two stops in case I am in the mood for a nice cigar with my old fashion I don't have to stop at Cigar shop and traffic in this area can get little crazy so less stops the more better. I am not a frequent shopper here but I might stop by more cause they have a nice Humidor now and I think their prices are little cheaper than most places or competitive. Like to mention that all ready Jell-O shots,Buttery Nipple shots and few more I can't remember the name but have some funny names like for example Twisted Shots and Miami Vice Shots in a 15 count package which come in different flavors and Wine and More has all your party accessories for your New Years Eve Party!! I am coming back for some party shots!! Oh I just found a bottle Cognac for $3999. Look up there Web Site you can type in whatever your looking for and it will show a pic and description but I recommend you go there instead oh and they have on line pickup too. I have no pics for this review but if you go there you won't be disappointed. read more

It's really clean and organized. You can find different types of wine in order. Great shopping experience strongly recommended.

This review targets the Total Wine at the Rim in San Antonio. I love, love, love this store but let's face it sometimes you're overwhelmed and need help which is, I'm pretty sure, one of the reasons they have employees. Normally, they seem eager to assist. This time was different. I stood at cust service for a bit where there was someone at the computer who saw me there but never acknowledged me.Another stafff member came by and looked up what I wanted and simply pointed to it and told me the approximate location. After that I needed assistance in another area ang got the same treatment.I truely felt as if I was a bother. In the past they ALWAYS walked you over to what you asked for and helped you find it. Now this was a Tues so it's not as if they were overcome by customers. When we got to the cashier, I mentioned another product . She looked it up, told me how much she enjoyed the product, took me to the area where she last saw it, asked a coworker( who again was very disinterested) and told me the name in case I wanted to try finding it elsewhere. That's the kind of service I was accustomed to. Where has it gone.Sure didn't feel appreciated. Just sayin. read more
