I have mixed emotions about this place We have been coming here for coffee and doughnuts since it opened and the coffee is so much better than the place from Seattle , coffee, tea , donuts ect Clean, nice place to relax " a 4 stars place " However on my last visit , I wanted a simple chocolate milkshake, and it was Crowded and my milkshake was made and placed on the counter and my wife had yet to order her ice cream, and was sent to the end of the line . When I finally received my shake it was melted and warm ( think more like chocolate milk ) and I requested a new one be made ( not a demand , but a request) the two young attendants were flabbergasted and basically told me they were busy and requesting it would inconvenience the other customers ( who I guess agreed due to the slow service) I felt guilt shamed In to paying for the melted shake which was totally unsatisfying Hindsight I should have just paid for my wife's ice cream cone and called it day, I will return here one day to hopefully receive a proper shake and a better experience read more

They should probably just close up permanently given the comments on Yelp and our experience at the store. We went there the other day and they had a stock out on ice cream and condiments - no butter pecan and many flavors were gone or almost gone in their tubs. We asked for two sundaes - one with almonds and one with peanuts on top. Didn't have almonds and peanuts. We just walked out. We are not going to buy expensive sundaes with missing ingredients. Also, the worker could barely communicate we tried to talk to him. They hire these young employees who do now know how to communicate with customers. Not worth going into this location. We went through the drive-thru and were treated with straight-up disrespect. The staff was incredibly rude, unhelpful, and acted like we were just wasting their time. They didn't greet us, didn't explain anything, and gave us major attitude for simply asking questions about our order. It felt like they weren't even trying to do their job--they couldn't answer basic questions, didn't care to clarify anything, and made us feel like a complete joke. Honestly, it was like they didn't want to be there and wanted to take it out on us. Totally unprofessional and disrespectful. If you expect decent customer service, do not go here. read more

I had no issues when I came here! I was here on a Sunday at 3:30pm and there was no wait! The staff was super friendly and I was in and out in under five minutes. The restaurant was super clean and my ice cream was delicious! read more

Lobby was closed before posted time, sent to drive thru only to be told they were out of what we wanted. Servers were rude.

Appallingly poor service. Was the only customer in the place and 3 employees completely ignored me. A couple were working the drive through. Another was trying to change out a roll of receipts. No greeting, no, "We'll be right with you." This went on for over 5 minutes. It was almost funny. Almost. This coupled with the fact that their ice cream at this location almost always contains clumps of ice crystals is enough for me to finally give up on BR. read more

UPDATE: 11/28/20/Saturday---WARNING IF YOU HAVE AN ALLERGY TO NUTS--My daughter ordered a 3-scoop bowl of ice cream thru the drive thru, 2 vanilla and one chocolate, her usual order. When she got home and started to eat the ice cream, she found that the chocolate had nuts in it. She never eats nuts & cannot tolerate them. She immediately called back to the store to alert the manager of how serious this screw up is as it can be life-threatening to people with nut allergies. The manager did not seem to be too concerned about this and told my daughter that "the girl realized that she messed up" on the order. The manager also stated that she was the manager of another location in San Antonio and was just in Boerne to "help out." That's no excuse. Why bother? Out of chocolate ice cream more often than not. Out of butter pecan. Out of pralines and cream, and on and on. BUT if you want VEGAN ice cream or DAIRY-FREE ice cream, they've got PLENTY OF THAT! Wasted trip. UPDATE: 6/20/20/Saturday--RIP OFwent through the drive-thru to pick up two orders of ice cream this evening (3 scoops for each order). Got home and discovered smaller than usual 3-scoop containers that had two partial scoops at best in each order. Was charged for 3 scoop size orders, got maybe equivalent of 1 1/2 scoops for each of us. And AGAIN they were out of butter pecan flavor. Called to report that we were overcharged because we did NOT get what we ordered. The phone rang a long time before finally being answered by a female employee. They were NOT busy at all less than 5 minutes or so before when I left there. (There was one vehicle at the window when I got there, no cars behind me and no cars in the parking lot. I only saw 3 employees milling about inside, no inside customers.) When I called and asked for the Mgr I was informed there was none present. The female on the phone ("K....") identified herself as the shift leader. I informed her that we'd been overcharged/shorted on our ice cream orders. Her response immediately was that they had a new employee who was being trained. (Good luck teaching them how to count to three!). She said all she could do was "give" us one scoop if we came back. Wow! Not worth the time, trouble or gas to go back. Was their screw-up, not mine. So, bottom line, this place is a joke. Don't expect to get the ice cream you want or to get what you pay for. And obviously the training they give their staff is pretty inadequate when you can't teach them to give customers what they paid for! At $5.49 for each 3-scoop order, paying a total of $10.98 for a total of +/- 3 scoops is worse than a rip-off. A big embarrassment for the Baskin-Robbins name. read more

So excited to take my boys here for the first time. I have amazing memories of visiting BR as a child. First, super disappointed they only had 24 flavors. Second, service was terrible, slow, with servers seeming to be miserable working there. There was one lady in front of me waiting on a coffee, and it took ten minutes for her to get it. Last, the young lady who scooped my kids' ice cream didn't wear gloves. She also didn't wash her hands before she scooped. She had been making coffee, so I'm going to just assume her hands were clean, and I didn't want to make a scene in front of my kids who had been waiting for ten minutes for their cones. But really? Especially in the current time there is no excuse. Definitely never going back. Will stick to Snowflakes and Salty and sweet. read more

Got 4 milkshakes. Or was supposed to, it was chocolate milk. And it took 30 mins. Really sad because I love baskin robins ice cream. But I'll never go there again unless I want the simple ice cream in a cup. Not even my five year olds liked their milk shakes. So so sad. read more
