Reviews say that the line is long and sometimes they run out. I am not sure if everyone was watching the parade I got lucky. There was not even a wait time. Everyone was so friendly! I took my order enjoyed looking at it and comparing it to the size of my head lol. Then I went asking how can I heat it up. I wanted it for Father's Day my dad loves cinnamon rolls. Turned out the one given to me is heated and the frosting makes it not good to be reheated. They did not hesitate to grab another one and give it to me. I offered to pay for it.... Nope! You take it and enjoy! I didn't touch the other one and I tried to give it back. Nope! Both are yours! There was a customer an older man I gave it to him. They didn't even show any sign of annoyance from this whole event. I got nothing but smiles and welcomes! I heated it yesterday as suggested. The chef is very smart the way she rolls it. You would imagine a doughy taste in the middle from how huge it is. All I can say it is perfection! Each layer of it tasted better than the other! I have my first pistachio almond milk, coffee here and it has always been my favorite ever since. they have amazing homemade biscuits and of course their pigs in a blanket are world famous. The professionalism and friendliness of the staff are commendable. The grill interior is a small style country city Grill. It is very comfortable and pleasant. The food was brought out, and it was presented in a very acceptable manner. The quality and the amount of food is definitely outstanding. It tasted really good. The ambience in the place is very friendly and while we were, it was not a noisy place. It is a very affordable restaurant. I highly encourage you to go there and try their many various dishes. Is an old establishment and well thought of by the locals. With all this being said, I would recommend this place definitely. However, the restroom could use some major attendance. Walking to my table and seeing everyone else's food definitely made me feel like I picked the wrong day not to be starving. Self-bagged candy is usually the same price per pound across the board but I didn't expect anything more than $5 - $8 per pound. With what little I had $70. My 3 were bagged items the rest were wrapped candy. I put back all the pre-packaged candy and still paid over $19. M&M - $27 per pound Chocolate candy - $17.95 per pound Regular sugar type candy - $10.75 per pound Pop Rocks over $3.95- Chocolate Bar $7.95 No wonder they didn't have prices on anything. People probably wouldn't buy it if they knew the price when looking. My sister went ahead and paid her $60 bill but considered putting candy back. I wasn't ashamed to put 3/4 back.

The dough, sauce, cheese, and crumbled ground meatball were all amazing, it tasted and smelled like it came out of a wood fired brick oven from Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village. Texas is not typically known for its pizza, but that's only because people haven't tried Pizza Volterra. Due to the longer than normal wait time for the sandwich, the staff gave me a free beverage. When I walked in today, I saw an Easter greeting sign announcing that like Jesus, prices were going to rise. They hadn't yet changed the price tags, but the increase in prices of 30-35% hits hard immediately. There are other bakeries in town, but no other Mexican bakeries so if you want Mexican specialties you are going to have to dig deeper. Maybe HEB has pan dulce and empanadas...
