Amazing food, we came with a group of 5 and sat outside. Everyone ordered something different but the breakfast bowl, snoring bear omelette, and breakfast burrito were ALL fantastic. Also appreciated that it wasn't totally overrun like many of the other breakfast places nearby. It's very small inside - only 4 tables available when we were there - and the minute you walk in, you're smack dab in the dining room. The menu isn't too extensive, which I appreciated, and they had all your standard options. The fella and I each got two coffees and the standard breakfast - he got sausage patties and over-medium eggs, and I got bacon and scrambled eggs. The bacon was a little crispier than I like, but that's personal preference, and the over-medium eggs were closer to over easy, but, again... personal interpretation. It's just not a good place to eat at their menus. Sounds like it's gonna be pretty good food, but it is absolutely horrible. They say the macaroni and cheese is homemade. It absolutely is not. It's box macaroni, and the cheap kind to not even the kind with the with the liquid cheese in it it's the dry, powdered macaroni and cheese. Baked beans absolutely not homemade absolutely not homemade they're straight out of a can don't even think their bushes the burgers were absolutely horrible. They didn't the food won't make you sick, but we paid 40 bucks for a monkey bowl if you know what that is of yesterday's, powdered macaroni and cheese, monkey bowl of baked beans from a can and two burnt horrible burgers. Now they were busy, but the level this food was that a lot of these were preconceived decisions before the business walked through the door. Honestly, I don't see how the place stays business. I'm not that picky of a dude, but this place was absolutely ridiculous. By the way it took about 90 minutes to get the food. No we had a great time waiting on the food I was with my wife good mood walked around the property pretty little property took some pictures but the food horrible . read more

Cute little place for breakfast & lunch. We stopped in around 11, 3 of us got lunch and 1 got breakfast. They stop serving pancakes after 11am, so if that's what you're craving go earlier. My husband and and I got burgers with potato salad. I got the snoring bear which has goat cheese, bacon and blackberry Dijon sauce on it....soooo good! Hubby got the black jack it's nice and spicy with jalapeno and pepper jack cheese. The burgers reminded me of Smash Burger, but with way more flavor. My youngest son got the Boston bean boat hot dog, an all beef hotdog with baked beans, bacon and french fried onions on top. It looked really good & it is huge! My other son got French toast with bacon, ask for it crispy if that's how you like it, otherwise most orders (my son's and on other tables too) came out a little floppy. I love that they serve deviled eggs as a side! Such a great idea! I am only giving 3 stars because the waitress wasn't the friendliest, not rude but not overly polite either. When I say "thank you" for bring extra napkins, water....whatever, don't just look at me and walk away. Actually acknowledge me! There are also only about 8 tables inside and outside seating too. We were lucky enough to have gotten an inside table. Eating outside is a little much when it's 95 outside. Overall great food, ok service. Would go back if in the area. read more

This is a cute, quaint little place (emphasis on little--it seats maybe 10-12 inside- but eating outside under cover was nice, anyway). Some of our food was quite tasty (deviled eggs, chicken-pesto-artichoke philly), but some things were mediocre at best, and for a price well above what we easily could have found nearby. The snoring bear burger: they didn't even ask how we wanted it cooked, which is not normal for a 10-buck burger. It was cooked very well done and the size of the patty wasn't that big, either. Bacon and cheese, etc. was ok. Not a bad burger but you can get better with a premium burger at any fast-food place for 1/2 the price. I'd have liked to try more sides- deviled eggs were quite good but the "Bear taters" were just basically hashbrowns-- nothing special by any means. Note, fairly limited menu, no alcohol. Lastly-- we knew by the end of the night that the waitress was brand new, so we can somewhat forgive slow service...but it was indeed SLOW. There are just four tables under the shed outside...but she had not learned the basic skill of checking on all tables; she'd come to one table to deliver or pick up something, then leave without checking other tables. I'm sure that will improve. Overall, OK but nothing so special. If you want a quality burger try Hot Rod's or Smoky Mt. Brewery in nearby Maryville. read more

Quaint little diner located between Maryville and Townsend, TN. Small indoor seating area (room for maybe 15 people) but a nice little spot to stop and eat. Due to the situation with COVID-19, we opted to eat outside on one of the four picnic tables. We ordered breakfast and my wife had a ham & cheese omelet with hash browns and OJ. She said it was pretty good but wished the ham was true chopped ham instead of lunch meat ham. I ordered the breakfast bowl and it was really good. It is a mixture of hash browns, crumbled sausage, sautéed onions, mushrooms and green pepper topped with two eggs of your choosing and then a bit of sausage gravy. I will definitely order the bowl again when we return. The lunch and dinner options look great as well...as do the desserts. We will visit again the next time that we are in the area! read more

She had a cheeseburger with baked beans I had a Mississippi Ruben which was barbecue pulled pork coleslaw on rye and got half an order of biscuits and gravy. The biscuits and gravy are the best I have ever had!!! And the Ruben was delicious too!! If you are ever in the area do yourself a favor and stop by!!!!! read more

We had breakfast and all was cooked fresh to order. It a small and quaint place, but very orderly, well at least when we were there. The Hungry Bear platter and 1/2 order of Biscuits & Gravy was more than both of could eat. This was a lovely little diner! We had breakfast here twice while we were visiting the area and we loved it. I ordered the loaded bear taters with a blueberry pancake both times and everything was great, especially the pimento cheese. The breakfast burritos looked good as well.
