Pot roast
Brad H.

Small place in a strip mall with excellent food and service. Very busy at lunch, still seated in about 15 minutes. Waitress was hilarious and very attentive. Food was extremely well priced and very tasty. Lots of humorous signs to entertain you. Off the wall videos of people doing stupid stuff as well. Well work a detour if you're nearby.

Loved our breakfast experience here. We were greeted and seated quickly on a Friday morning. It was quite busy, which says a lot about the popularity of the restaurant, especially because the service was fast and efficient with churning out the customers. The atmosphere is farmhouse-esque with quirky, funny signage and the most beautiful domed wood ceiling. The menu was very reasonably priced and had both unique items as well as breakfast staples. My husband ordered the 3 egg, 3 meat breakfast with grits and a biscuit with a side of gravy. I ordered a build your own biscuit sandwich with the fried chicken and over medium egg with a side of gravy and the diced potatoes. Hubby liked his meal and said everything was well-cooked and seasoned and he was satisfied without feeling weighed down with the need to waddle out as we left. We both agreed that the biscuits were very soft, buttery and fresh. Delicious...just wish they were a bit more fluffy and substantial if used as a sandwich vehicle. The chicken was great. Tender and very well-seasoned breading. Also loved the diced potatoes. They were hot, crisp and tasty. They reminded me of beer battered wedge fries, but cubed. Can't wait to go back!

Ordered to go and the lady was very friendly on the phone. When I went in the place was booming! Nice signs posted on the walls. Food was pretty good. Pot roast was tender. Pinto beans could've had more flavor for my liking. Fries were well seasoned. My dad said the chocolate Bundt cake melted in your mouth like butter and the cheesecake was creamy and sweet.

Went for breakfast. The red velvet pancakes were amazing! They had a drizzle on them, so they didn't need syrup. We'll definitely be back.

The owner did take off the pasta but the pasta needs to come with a warning if you hate olives avoid with your life!! I ask for the olives to be removed and not placed but they pre make the pasta so that is not an option. My husband's dish was equally disappointing, we left starving and spent twice as much as we would have at Season's in Knoxville. Later that night we both had horrible stomach issues. Again the waitress was fantastic but on a Friday evening and there was only 5 other tables should have been the warning sign.

I am a big proponent of supporting the local businesses in my community. I was not aware, though, I have a great restaurant right down the street in Jackson Square! We were quickly seated in comfortable dining room. There was a live pianist playing in the corner. A lovely touch. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the offerings on the menu. I had the pot roast with augratin potatoes and my beloved had the pork tenderloin with grilled squash and pinto beans. Both entrees were delicious. I must say, I am a big fan of a delicious pork chop or tenderloin chop so I now have a new favorite. I am planning on working my way through the entire menu over the next few weeks, because I have a feeling everything they make is wonderful. I will let you know.
