Philly Cheese Steak Salad
Chris C.

Thank you Snickers for assist me in my dietary issue and making me a Philly Cheese Steak salad. It was very delicious and I greatly enjoyed it. Love your place. Recommend people stop in. Maybe add the Philly Cheese Steak Salad to the menu.

Delicious food! We had ribs, boneless wings, and many other items. Nothing disappointed. Joe smokes the meat to perfection! Sides were cole slaw and potato salad that was as good as Grandma makes. Fried pickles were coated nicely and very tasty. Mac and cheese was very cheesy and seasoned fries were krispy goodness.

The ribs are fall off the bone tender with a great sauce. I always get a full slab and have a couple meals at home from the leftovers.

The cole slaw had a good flavor, juicier than my husband likes, but almost perfect for me.

We ordered the potato app and it was amazing, the mushroom pizza was EXCELLENT and the charcuterie board was fancy! I highly recommend this place, the views are incredible and the service was top notch. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were friendly and attentive. I can't wait to go back!!!!

The Foundry stays open late (food til 10 pm) so it was a great option. I sat at the bar and had the following: -Bbq short rib (3.5/5; pretty tasty. Short rib was tender and bbq sauce had a nice kick. The rice wasn't cooked properly so it was hard. I wanted to like this dish more...I think the traditional pairing of short rib w mashed potatoes would have been better) -Deviled eggs (3/5; these are mixed w avocado which makes them unique. Unfortunately, the flavor was lacking and needed some spice (Dijon, salt, pickles?) I wouldn't get these again -Oaxacan old fashioned (5/5; this old fashioned was made with tequila and mezcal and a flamed orange peel. The smokiness of this drink was super satisfying) Overall, the drink was amazing, service was great and food was alright.

There is no 'meat taste' at all so get in here and give these a try. I had a feeling I would love it and I did. It's a large yet cozy venue with the number 5 featured prominently in assorted art as well as on the tables. The building is historic, lots of wood, brick and brass railings plus a stunning Victorian bar back. We ate at the bar which was very comfortable. Little sliding wooden trays to make it convenient for eating, then just move them out of the way when you're done. They have 10 or so craft beers on tap and a full bar. We had the opportunity to sample a couple brews and we both enjoyed our beer choices and the food. Prices were fair, and tax is included in the menu price. I really want to shout out our bartender/server. Didn't get her name but she had round glasses with eyeglass chain attached and was on the shorter side. She was very customer focused, answering all our first-timer questions, attentive, appropriately conversational, and definitely on the ball as she was handling tables too. Top notch service. About those railings: unless there's a special back entrance, the venue may not be wheelchair accessible. There are two or three steps at the entrance, and if you want the bar instead of booth or table, another three or four. Both have sturdy solid handrails. I do not fault them for this; probably the historic building is exempt, but just wanted to note it for anyone needing that info. All in all a five star experience and I hope to return soon.

Character-rich atmosphere with a brick arch inside and a beautiful historic back bar. I'm a bourbon drinker, so didn't try the beer, but was very happy with my Old Fashioned. The staff for the most part, look as if they came to work in either last nights clothes or pajama bottoms. Since when are sandals ok to work in the restaurant industry? The girls with long hair, while it's pretty, that still doesn't mean I want to see them scratching their head or playing with their hair. Whatever happened to having it pulled back. Is that not a health code thing anymore? And speaking of that, when did it become acceptable for a server to have two filled drink cups tucked in her arm while holding the other 2 in her hands. No trays maybe? Gross. I don't want her hair in my drink! I guess I'm just old fashioned and like to feel comfortable that my food and drink are being handled with a little more respect. I guess I kind of feel like if the front of the house is that sloppy..... what's the back of the house like?

Both were really good. The sides are delicious. The green beans were salty and savory and mouth watering the garlic mashed potatoes with the brisket gravy were amazing. Too stuffed to order desserts but they sounded good. We will be back for sure.
