Surprisingly good food and drinks. Super casual and laid back. The restrooms could really use an reboot though.

Oh my goodness, this British gastropub is the real deal! I quickly checked the Yelp reviews, and…read moremade an evening reservation, not checking what the parking situation was like. Well, my bad - their website includes multiple accessible places to park in and around the village. That said, we got it, and decided to belly up to the bar for a better look at the offerings and the place in general. Matt O was our server. I started with a delicious Scottish Ale, and my companion had a glass of wine. Prices are reasonable. My companion ordered and raved about the Shepherd's Pie. I had Bangers & Mash - sausage (3 pieces) with imported horseradish mustard, mashed potatoes, gravy, delicious baked beans. It went perfectly with my pint! It was a warm afternoon so the glass garage doors were opened wide and folks were eating and drinking outside in the beer garden too. The vibe was loud, lively and very positive. Music was old school British Invasion '60s style. Good times seemed to be had by everyone. We finished with a locally produced Chocolate Rum Cake - it was rum forward and smooth, dark chocolatey! Highly recommended.

My family and I recently visited The Last Queen, and overall, there was a lot to appreciate. The…read morerestaurant does an excellent job creating an authentic British pub experience. The atmosphere was charming, the décor was exactly what we were hoping for, and the menu felt genuinely true to British cuisine rather than a themed interpretation. Unfortunately, our visit took place on a colder day, and the large garage-style door connecting to the outdoor seating area was left open. As a result, the entire restaurant felt quite cold throughout our meal. Since we were dining with our infant son, this made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience and was our biggest disappointment of the evening. In fact, it was cold enough that we kept our coats on throughout dinner, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the atmosphere the restaurant had worked so hard to create. We also ordered the fish and chips. The quality of the fish was very good, and it was clearly prepared with care. However, the portion size left something to be desired. The meal included only one medium-sized piece of fish, which felt small for a dinner entrée, especially considering the price point. While the food itself was enjoyable, we were hoping for a more substantial serving. Despite these issues, The Last Queen delivered on atmosphere, authenticity, and food quality. I would be willing to give it another try, particularly during warmer weather, as I believe the temperature and comfort level had a significant impact on our overall experience.

We enjoyed it a great deal. Spacious and comfortable tavern with a very long bar and plenty of low…read moretop tables. Bright and upbeat vibe. Half a dozen beers on tap, full bar, Coke soft drinks. Great food and huge portions. The prices seem high, but that $18 burger is eight slamming ounces of meat, so it's like two standard burgers. We split the Reuben which was also enormous and quite satisfying. The grilled marble rye was glorious. They were waiting for a fresh batch of chips to finish so they were delivered separately from the sandwich. They gave us a giant bowlful. Not sure if you always get that many chips with your handheld. We also shared the Bavarian pretzel as an app, absolutely worth the $10. Thick, soft, steamy and perfectly salty. The coarse mustard was perfect! They also offer two dessert items. My husband got the warm chocolate chip cookie topped with ice cream. Sweet and decadent and a lovely presentation too. Service was excellent, attentive and friendly. There's a parking lot in the rear and it was tricky to find the way into it. The building next door (owned by this establishment) is being demolished for a future expansion so it looks a little scary from back there. Also some street parking. Both front and rear entrances have steps with solid dual handrails, but there is no wheelchair access that I could see. There's outdoor seating on decks in front and it annoyed me to see multiple signs forbidding smoking or even vaping. This is outside in the open air, uncovered, not near the door. Would definitely return especially now that we know the secret entrance to the parking lot.

We had dinner here last night and it was great! We both had the turkey Reuben sandwiches. Thick, juicy turkey with a ton of sauerkraut and a delicious dressing! It came with chips that thick & crispy. Nice! I had a cold red ale to wash it down too. And the price was more than fair! The place was clean, staff were very friendly and very fast! (Not like the old days) And I paid with plastic! (Again, not like the old days.) We liked it. Food was great, came out fast, price was fair, place was clean - what more could you ask for! As Arnold said, 'I'll be back!'
