Best wings I've ever had. Make a trip here as often as I can from Cincinnati. Amazing. Staff is a hoot too!

Sourmugs or Skippers of the Bulldog and probably a couple of other names over the years, has been…read morearound for 30+ and has always served really good food in a casual, laid-back atmosphere while serving as the hub for the comings & goings of West Milton, Union Township and SW Miami County. If you want to know what is going on with Milton-Union Schools or the local Bulldog Team, this is the place to be! Food is simple but well done, the beer is cold and the conversations are always friendly, unless you're from Tipp, Oakwood, Brookville or God-forbid, Valley View. I especially recommend the Chili and the Pot Roast Sandwich! Pork Tenderloin is good, too, and the onion rings worth the calories! Service is always friendly but not fast. The Staff moves quickly, but this isn't a place where customers are in a rush, or want to be rushed. They do do carry-out, so if you want a great picnic, the West Milton Park overlooks the Stillwater River and is only a block away East, sitting on the river bluff. If you want some real adventure wander downtown from Sourmugs to Wertz's Hardware & 5 & Dime. You're never quite sure what treasures you can discover in there!

I had potato skins with bacon , cheddar and mozzarella cheese. It's served with a sour cream pac. It's pretty good and it didn't last long. Next I had the turkey Reuben. On a nice dark rye, turkey lunchmeat, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and thousand island dressing. Pro: It was served hot and it tasted pretty good but... Con: The rye bread was too thin and turkey lunchmeat probably isn't the best choice. It's a worthy place. People are very friendly and talkative. It's a great place to relax and kick back. And I'd like to try other things on the menu. As Arnold said, 'I'll be back!'

Oh my goodness, this British gastropub is the real deal! I quickly checked the Yelp reviews, and…read moremade an evening reservation, not checking what the parking situation was like. Well, my bad - their website includes multiple accessible places to park in and around the village. That said, we got it, and decided to belly up to the bar for a better look at the offerings and the place in general. Matt O was our server. I started with a delicious Scottish Ale, and my companion had a glass of wine. Prices are reasonable. My companion ordered and raved about the Shepherd's Pie. I had Bangers & Mash - sausage (3 pieces) with imported horseradish mustard, mashed potatoes, gravy, delicious baked beans. It went perfectly with my pint! It was a warm afternoon so the glass garage doors were opened wide and folks were eating and drinking outside in the beer garden too. The vibe was loud, lively and very positive. Music was old school British Invasion '60s style. Good times seemed to be had by everyone. We finished with a locally produced Chocolate Rum Cake - it was rum forward and smooth, dark chocolatey! Highly recommended.

My family and I recently visited The Last Queen, and overall, there was a lot to appreciate. The…read morerestaurant does an excellent job creating an authentic British pub experience. The atmosphere was charming, the décor was exactly what we were hoping for, and the menu felt genuinely true to British cuisine rather than a themed interpretation. Unfortunately, our visit took place on a colder day, and the large garage-style door connecting to the outdoor seating area was left open. As a result, the entire restaurant felt quite cold throughout our meal. Since we were dining with our infant son, this made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience and was our biggest disappointment of the evening. In fact, it was cold enough that we kept our coats on throughout dinner, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the atmosphere the restaurant had worked so hard to create. We also ordered the fish and chips. The quality of the fish was very good, and it was clearly prepared with care. However, the portion size left something to be desired. The meal included only one medium-sized piece of fish, which felt small for a dinner entrée, especially considering the price point. While the food itself was enjoyable, we were hoping for a more substantial serving. Despite these issues, The Last Queen delivered on atmosphere, authenticity, and food quality. I would be willing to give it another try, particularly during warmer weather, as I believe the temperature and comfort level had a significant impact on our overall experience.
