Doesn't suck
Hadley Z.

SMP Mini Mart, I was unfamiliar with your game. Great cheesesteaks in a simple NYC bodega-like setting. Employees were nice and offered recommendations. Only complaint is that I ordered a side of cherry peppers, but they come whole so not really conducive to adding to a sandwich. Not a big deal, but I'll probably skip them next time. Their "Doesn't Suck" was great, one of the most authentic Philly cheesesteaks I've had in the LV, but it does come at a slightly steep $17. Regardless of my little complaints, I'll be back here next time I'm in town.

Specialty Vodka Pesto Cutlet on Sesame Seeded Roll.. 5 Stars

OMG- SHOUTOUT: in the past I have sent out reviews on the amazing Cooper cheesecake the chopped cheese, etc. etc. today is one that I have to make a special review for... It's the penne vodka, chicken cutlet sub with pesto... All I can say is don't walk, run to SMP Mini-Mart to check this one out... There's a reason I'm giving this a five star review... Excuse my photo, it doesn't really do it just us but it's not just delicious. It's beyond.!!!

While working in the Lehigh Valley I stopped by SMP Mini Mart to check out their claim of having the Valley's best steak. They score points for having Corropolese roles, either plain or seeded, and offering provolone, wiz, american or cooper sharp cheese. The cheesecake was solid, but could have used a bit more seasoning. Overall 7.5 out of 10.

Quality, tasty cheesesteaks at reasonable price. The cheese and onions are sauteed and incorporated into the sliced ribeye, not sitting on top of the sandwich. Makes for a flavorful cheesesteak.

The "It Didn't Suck" cheesesteak from SMP Mini Mart was an absolute ACE. $16 for this 12" sandwich some people may sneeze at, but it's loaded and executed tremendously. I enjoyed every single bite. Cherry Peppers on the side for $1, sadly forgotten. The cherry peppers would have been an over the top experience with this decadently rich cheesesteak. The roll held up throughout and due to the Fine Sandwich construction there was minimal shrapnel in the beard. Highly recommend this Sandwich on a seeded roll for the discerning pallets. #rushieeats

Cheesesteak

Food is AMAZING! The cheesesteaks are huge, very shareable. If you're hungry you can eat the whole thing. Service was great as well! Very friendly. Ambiance is good. It's half mini mart so not very big or much place to sit and eat it there. But we were able to get a seat and enjoy our food. Definitely will be back!

Boom boom chicken cheesesteak egg rolls

SMP mini mart is a place I've been going for about a year now and I have tried quite a few things on the menu. I first went to try their cheesesteak a year plus ago and it was very good, but they are consistently trying to up their game here so the cheesesteak now is so much better than it even was then. They have added the seeded corropolese roll (which I love), they carry cooper sharp which is my favorite cheese for a cheesesteak, and they use a quality ribeye product. The owners Chade and Nancy are also extremely nice and helpful people. At least one of them is in the store nearly always showing their dedication and love for this place. Every time I go here I leave feeling like family. They have also been consistently upgrading the interior of the spot recently adding a full hood system to put in a large flattop grill and fryers. They have some limited seating and they offer a wide array of drinks and other snack options. I mean, you can even play your lotto while you're here haha Cheesesteaks, chopped cheese, boom boom nachos, the big Matt cheesesteak (like a Big Mac but not processed garbage), boom boom egg rolls...the list goes on and on. Eat here, you won't regret it. SMP mini mart - Didn't Suck!

We chose to pay 69 dollars for this televisit through Jefferson Health because I was very sick and needed medication right away. We also chose to go this route because on the website we saw that store #5715 was open 24 hours, including the pharmacy. My husband headed to the store only to discover upon arrival, a sign saying they were closed, pharmacy only open from 8am - 10pm and the store only open until midnight. And this went into effect starting on December 22nd! This store is a 26 minute drive (8.5 miles) away from my home. So you can imagine the major inconvenience. This brings me to my major point: NOWHERE ON THE WEBSITE OR THE STORE PHONE ANSWERING SERVICE DID IT SAY THE DIFFERENCE IN HOURS! We chose to do what we did for my health based on the fact that I could get the antibiotic from this "open pharmacy" that same night. If I knew they were closed, I would have waited to go to an Express Care and paid 49 dollars less to see a doctor in person. Plus we wasted time and gas in our car driving all the way to the store just to find out it was closed. It cost me time and money.

Something has changed at this Walgreens' location--staff was super friendly!…read more Though most convenient, this has not been my favorite Walgreens to patronize. Mostly because staff has historically been indifferent at best, downright rude at worst. Recently, however, on two separate occasions, I've found staff members--including at least one manager--to be warm, friendly, and helpful. On the first occasion, discounts from my Walgreens' rewards weren't reflecting on my bill. This is not unusual, as it seems to happen frequently at all businesses that use rewards. Oftentimes, employees get frustrated and flustered (as do the people in the growing lines behind me) and employees get mad at me, as if it's my fault. The manager was called over and calmly remedied the issue, including calling a second cashier to handle other customers. On the second occasion, I must admit I was in a bad mood, so when the sale item I wanted wasn't on the shelf (even though the online system said it should have been), I was annoyed. The young man stocking shelves was, unfortunately for him, the first employee I encountered. In my scariest mom voice, I asked why the items that were supposed to be there were not. He used his handheld gizmo and said there should be more in the back and went to check. I wanted two, he came back with one, and apologized for the computer system being wrong. I immediately felt guilty because, of course, it wasn't his fault and this intelligent young man killed me with kindness. I thanked him, he told me to have a nice day, and I apologized for being crabby. He accepted my apology with grace. A new Walgreens, indeed.

Unfortunately, there was a strong cold draft at floor level, leaving our feet uncomfortably cold throughout the meal. The hostess was sweet and greeted us with a smile. The food service was unremarkable. Our waiter was not particularly friendly nor personable. The drinks were a weak start. The red sangria was poor. The bourbon cocktail was an odd mix of bourbon, apple cider, and other elements--an awkward, Frankenstein-style whiskey sour that simply didn't work. Worst of all, both drinks were served in thin plastic cups, which immediately cheapened the entire experience. I ordered the falafel sandwich and specifically requested a toasted bun. It arrived not just room temperature, but cold. I sent it back, and it returned burning hot... the bottom soggy... literally too hot to pick up... with no browning or color change, clearly microwaved. Microwaving is not toasting. At that point, the sandwich was inedible. I removed the bun entirely and ate just the falafel, which was dry and largely tasteless. At this point I knew coming back to this restaurant was a mistake. Food timing was another issue. The dishes took roughly 45 minutes to arrive after the drinks, possibly longer. We were all getting annoyed and what started out well when we first walked in turned negative. I wasn't impressed on my first visit years ago... and this second visit confirmed it. Between the poor drinks, cheap plastic cups, ridiculously long wait (with no explanation nor apology), and careless food execution, there's no reason to return.
