They're a great sugary treat to offset some carb heavy noodles from the nearby stall. They're even better warmed up a little bit with a glass of milk at home if you're willing to wait a little bit. That said, I'd never consider having this for breakfast (with my coffee)...it's just too different from a cake style doughnut or any sort of doughnut like an apple fritter or bear claw or a muffin/scone. I ordered donut holes, a cinnamon twist, a cake donut, and two kolaches. She didn't give me my donut holes. So I paid $12 for two kolaches and two donuts. Seems kind of high. I wouldn't really know because I didn't get a receipt. The kolaches didn't taste as good as they used to, I won't be going back.
