My kids had a great time here. We came on a weekday during the morning. Everything felt pretty clean - as clean as an indoor play area can be, anyways. Tons for kids to do. You pay by the hour...but no one really was monitoring that so I'm not sure how that's supposed to work. Food, drinks, and admission is pretty $$ IMO. We ate pizza, fries, and split a drink. The pizza slices WERE very large, so that was a perk. Hardly any staff monitoring anything at all. Several times I had to tell kids to stop throwing toys. My kids loved it and had 0 complaints.

We brought our nearly 2 year-old here and he loved! There is so much to do! We went on Saturday after thanksgiving and while it was busy, it was not overwhelming or uper crowded. He had a fantastic time and played with some other kids. I definitely recommend and can not wait to return!

Didn't get the hype for Smiley's - it's actually pretty small - we're used to the crazies of Billy Bee's. There's a ball pit, small play area, lego area, sensory rice play area, arcade room and a couple birthday party rooms. 1-2 hours max of play time maybe. Some people are pretty bad and inconsiderate taking their clearly heavily sick children to an indoor playground, though...there was a kid who was leaking an alarming amount of green boogers down his face... We threw all our clothes off and showered the kids thoroughly after leaving.

The last time I went to this place it was a MADHOUSE and I vowed never to come back. Like any other establishment, the most popular times for birthday parties are on Saturday.. Not any fault to Smiley, but the amount of families in the location was overwhelming during my last visit. But 1-year-old daughter was invited to a birthday party, so I figured I give it a try again. The party was on Saturday from 4:30-6:30 pm. This time, it wasn't too crowded and my daughter enjoyed herself. She wasn't pushed around or had to worry about sharing objects. The play area didn't smell or make me feel like it was unsafe for her to play freely. She enjoyed the rice sensory play area and the lego station the most. The birthday party went off without a hitch and the birthday staff seemed to be on their job to ensure the birthday family was satisfied. Overall, great experience but def will go back earlier in the day to avoid the crowds

Absolute Craziness! Kids everywhere. I know my daughters friend reserves a room frequently to host her kids and nephews birthday parties. I believe all the kids have a lot of fun and the parents get to relax and let their kids play. Unfortunately sometimes it's a mess and the food is quite expensive. also frequently, there's a strong smell of bleach. The kids look all worn out and a happy but by the time they leave so I guess that is what we're looking for.

I went the lockers were not working the staff was for a better a little lack luster seems the only guy that really liked working was collecting tickets an using the microphone, couple of the little girls was more worried about what was going on in their phone them actually worrying about their jobs or what was going on around them, an like any other place like this your patience can be tested by kids an adults that don't play well with others, if you can look past the little kids as staff members an the testing of your patience' then it can be a fun time

Food and play great customer service he's great at helping me with my orders and very nice just ask for manuel

We had my son's 3rd birthday party here. And while the kids definitely had fun there were a few issues. First and foremost my son and I got food poisoning that evening after the party around midnight. We were the only 2 that had the fruit punch and my husband and I think that is what caused it since none of the other kids got sick. Next up was just the professionalism and explanation of the process day of. We were not provided any walk through of what we needed to do upon arrival or what to tell guest to do when they arrived. I was also told I needed to purchase my own back drop since the one they order had not arrived yet even though I spoke to someone 2 months in advance and they said they would be getting everything in a week or 2. When we arrived it was a mad house of course. I went to the front to ask what I needed to do since I was there for a party and it seemed like the young lady had an attitude with me like I was supposed to already know what to do. She had to call someone else to help us since she did not have access to the party info or something like that. Our party host was great and I wish I remembered her name. Overall the venue is fun for kids, my son loves the place which is why I booked the party there. The only thing you normally need to bring is a cake for your little one. I wish they just communicated better and had a better process for party check in. And yeah check those soda machines. We normally only get the bottled drinks so we have never gotten sick before, I will never get a soft drink from there again though.

We visited on Easter Sunday and we LOVED it! An Easter egg hunt begin as soon as we walked in. The place is simply amazing, and loaded with so many things to do. We will certainly be back. The only thing we didn't like was that my 6 year old was yelled at by one of the younger staff members to not sit on top of the monkey bars. We were shocked because she yelled all the way from the yellow trampoline. I mean she had been hanging from it and all other normal monkey bar play, but sitting on top was a no no. It just scared my daughter but overall we loved it and will return.

Great spot for young toddlers with a lot of energy. My 2year old daughter was ZOOMING through like a mad lady with all the stuff to do! I love the separate zone for smaller kids. She was worn out after and slept like a princess!! I know they allow you to bring back your Smiley socks but I wish they required new ones for sanitary reasons. It wasn't busy during our Wednesday 6pm visit but I could only image the stress if it was. Lastly, Be prepared to get in and help your toddlers out.

I was lucky enough to snag a deal on Groupon for an hour of playtime for 2, for $12. The original Groupon price was $20, but I used a 40% off coupon. This worked out nicely, because we then spent $12 on 4 pairs of their socks. I knew from the pictures online that my toddler granddaughters would have a great time. They are turning 3 and 4, very soon, and they love a good "play place." As soon as they walked in to Smiley's and saw the playscape thru the wall of windows, they began screaming with excitement. We found plenty of places to sit and get our little ones ready to play. There are lots of cubbies for belongings and a section of pay to use lockers. Since our granddaughters are younger, we opted to go in with them and had a great time playing with them and watching them enjoy all the fun stuff available to them. The play section with all the balls was definitely a huge hit. You really have to shuffle/drag your feet along the floor to get thru the balls in your socked feet. So it's a little frustrating that there are shifts in the flooring that are only discovered when you stub your toes. Not pleasant. Our toddlers didn't have that issue because they largely chose to "swim" thru the balls. One of their favorite things was standing on the wall that divided the ginormous ball pit and the sponge pit and seeing who could jump the furthest into the sponge pit. They finally emerged sweaty and giggled out. There are way to many features to describe, and the girls enjoyed every bit of it. Surprisingly, everything seemed clean and it was a bright and cheery atmosphere. There is even a small play section for infants and small toddlers. Slides, swings, trampolines, climbing wall...they've got it all. I would vote this place one of Indy's best playscapes, easily. We will definitely be back.

Kids can't get enough of the giant slide!

So my little brother is 7 and he really wants to come here. Would he be too big to play? Is there an age limit?

The age limit for the ball pit area is 10.

Is there another # they can be reached at because the # posted is not in service?

The game selection is a dream if you grew up on old-school consoles and arcade cabinets. The drinks were a standout too--creative, well-made, and strong enough to keep the good vibes going. On top of that, the service was great--friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming without being over the top. We also grabbed some light bites, which hit the spot without slowing us down from getting back to the games. It's the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time (in the best way). Whether you're going for a date night, group hang, or just to relive your arcade glory days, 16-Bit is a guaranteed good time. Definitely coming back.

My younger child (lower elementary age) was bored after about 45 minutes, but your mileage may vary. They also have some pinball machines -- some you can play for an extra fee, and some seemed like they could be played with the price of admission. There are also some interactive games, like Dance Dance Revolution. Speaking of admission: You pay $15 for a wristband that grants you access to almost all of the video games, and you can come and go all day. If you're really into playing video games, this is a great deal. They don't sell any food or beverages here, so if you want something to eat or drink, you'll need to leave and come back. Within…read more30 minutes, I was at the register purchasing a $157 monthly pass (4 months) for the toddler area. I was impressed enough that I texted three friends photos, told my wife to start planning our son's birthday party here, and was actively asking managers about upgrading to full access because I had just discovered the larger "Adrenaline" area. For context: it's Indiana winter, it was cold, and I had a hooded sweatshirt on with the hood up because I was freezing. During my 2 1/2-hour stay, I spoke with two managers about memberships--neither said a word about my hood. While walking around trying to keep up my child, I heard someone off to the side say, "Take your hood off." I approached the man, who asked me politely. I politely asked why it was a rule. His response was shocking: "So I can see your entire face on my 50 cameras." This was 11:30 a.m. on a Friday, not a packed weekend night. I turned away to continue looking for my child, removed the hood, and muttered "whatever dude" under my breath. That's when the situation escalated wildly. He charged toward me, yelling: "I'm the owner--if you don't like it, leave!" I had already complied. That wasn't enough. He then shouted: "I'll give you your money back!" And finally said something that truly crossed a line: "If there are off-colored people with hoods up and we ask them to take it down, what would that look like?" I'm still trying to understand why race was brought into this at all. Let me be clear: * The facility is great for kids * The staff and managers were wonderful * We were not leaving anytime soon until this happened But the owner's behavior was aggressive, unnecessary, and completely inappropriate. A simple rule explanation would've sufficed. Instead, it turned into a power trip with racial commentary that had no place in the conversation. Rules are rules--but how you enforce them matters. I'll take the refund. And I'll take my business elsewhere.

They do have age and weight limits that they strictly adhere to and I know the ceiling is 250 pounds, because I was knocking on the door of it and had to jump on the scale. You have to be at least three to join in on the fun, so I left the youngest little at home. This place is huge, approximately 72,000 square feet, and there are not many indoor kids play places on the south side of Indy, so this is a welcomed addition. They have zip lines, rock climbing walls, trampoline dodgeball, trampoline basketball, trampolines, a battle pit with foam blocks, trampoline air bag, laser tag, and a ropes course. There are also concession stands and video games. I must admit, that looks like a place that teleworking parents bring their kids while they work. They had some people there that looked like they were in a home office. The entire staff here is very friendly and helpful. Top notch all the way. You can bring your own helmet for the zip line, ropes course and rock climbing, which I recommend, so you know it fits, or they have common use ones that you can borrow They have 2 concession stands, one upstairs, by where you get on the zip-line and one downstairs. The upstairs one is only open on busy days. The downstairs one has a small arcade area and is their primary concession bar. They have candy, soft drinks, hot dogs, burger, fries, pretzels and other typical quick food. They are slightly higher priced than normal. I guess in line with movie theater prices. And they do not allow outside food or drinks. They have 4 zip lines that are all the same, but the number of lines open depends on how packed the place is. They were only running one line while I was there. There are some couches overlooking the zip line and some tables and chairs in the area of the upstairs concession stand that are some prime real estate. That is where some parents set up their hoe offices and also serves as a place to hold people's coats, shoes and other belongings. I did not see one free, while I was there. FYI: The ropes course has a higher height requirement than most of the attractions there. You should check it before you wait in line to make sure that your little is good to go. The rock climbing wall has two sections. One has a lot of attachments for little kids to grab and stand on. The other has much less attachments and is way more challenging. They have a toddler area, with a large bounce house and little toys. It is fenced off from the other areas. It is only for kids 2 years old and under or who are under 35 pounds. This is the only area in the complex that those kids can play. They play host to birthday parties and have a huge indoor soccer field where they hosts soccer leagues, football games and ultimate frisbee. It is very nice, with spectator bleachers and all. It can be rented out. They run some good specials, like their Hero Days on Wednesday and Thursday where Police, teachers, firefighters, nurses and military (along with their immediate family) get a discounted rate for 2 hours of unlimited stuff. It is a really good deal. You may also find an occasional Groupon deal as well. I really do not understand all the bad reviews this place got. My experience was awesome. My little and I had so much fun. She rode the zip line like they were closing it down for the season. She was able to easier navigate the rock climbing wall, which boosted her confidence as well as her ego. There is tons to do here, but I think two hours is good to do what you want to do. This is definitely the place to bring the little ones, but not too little. I highly recommend checking this place out.

There is also an indoor field, but we didn't play on it because there was a soccer game happening when we visited. We were here for a birthday party, and it seems like a great place to have a party. You get your own space with tables and a staff member to help, and then you set your hellions loose to burn off the sugar from the birthday cake. It's a really fun place for boys and girls who are adventurous and need an outlet for their energy. One of the things that I appreciate was that there was a staff member at each area, and several at the trampolines. They are always watching everything that's happening, and will remind you of the rules if they see you breaking them. I like my kids to have fun, but I like them to be safe more. In order to use the zipline, you need to weigh at least 35 pounds. Keep that in mind when planning a trip! Kids who weigh less than 35 pounds can play in the toddler section.
