They do have age and weight limits that they strictly adhere to and I know the ceiling is 250 pounds, because I was knocking on the door of it and had to jump on the scale. You have to be at least three to join in on the fun, so I left the youngest little at home. This place is huge, approximately 72,000 square feet, and there are not many indoor kids play places on the south side of Indy, so this is a welcomed addition. They have zip lines, rock climbing walls, trampoline dodgeball, trampoline basketball, trampolines, a battle pit with foam blocks, trampoline air bag, laser tag, and a ropes course. There are also concession stands and video games. I must admit, that looks like a place that teleworking parents bring their kids while they work. They had some people there that looked like they were in a home office. The entire staff here is very friendly and helpful. Top notch all the way. You can bring your own helmet for the zip line, ropes course and rock climbing, which I recommend, so you know it fits, or they have common use ones that you can borrow They have 2 concession stands, one upstairs, by where you get on the zip-line and one downstairs. The upstairs one is only open on busy days. The downstairs one has a small arcade area and is their primary concession bar. They have candy, soft drinks, hot dogs, burger, fries, pretzels and other typical quick food. They are slightly higher priced than normal. I guess in line with movie theater prices. And they do not allow outside food or drinks. They have 4 zip lines that are all the same, but the number of lines open depends on how packed the place is. They were only running one line while I was there. There are some couches overlooking the zip line and some tables and chairs in the area of the upstairs concession stand that are some prime real estate. That is where some parents set up their hoe offices and also serves as a place to hold people's coats, shoes and other belongings. I did not see one free, while I was there. FYI: The ropes course has a higher height requirement than most of the attractions there. You should check it before you wait in line to make sure that your little is good to go. The rock climbing wall has two sections. One has a lot of attachments for little kids to grab and stand on. The other has much less attachments and is way more challenging. They have a toddler area, with a large bounce house and little toys. It is fenced off from the other areas. It is only for kids 2 years old and under or who are under 35 pounds. This is the only area in the complex that those kids can play. They play host to birthday parties and have a huge indoor soccer field where they hosts soccer leagues, football games and ultimate frisbee. It is very nice, with spectator bleachers and all. It can be rented out. They run some good specials, like their Hero Days on Wednesday and Thursday where Police, teachers, firefighters, nurses and military (along with their immediate family) get a discounted rate for 2 hours of unlimited stuff. It is a really good deal. You may also find an occasional Groupon deal as well. I really do not understand all the bad reviews this place got. My experience was awesome. My little and I had so much fun. She rode the zip line like they were closing it down for the season. She was able to easier navigate the rock climbing wall, which boosted her confidence as well as her ego. There is tons to do here, but I think two hours is good to do what you want to do. There really is something for everyone here. Even toddlers and crawlers have their own little section, and it's reserved just for the little kids, blocked off by a black mesh curtain, with height and weight cut offs and everything. It's like a little baby nightclub. But mainly, Zip City is for the big kids. There are two ziplines, several trampolines (even trampolines where you can joust, shoot hoops and play dodgeball), a laser tag area, a sky obstacle course and a rock climbing wall. There is also an indoor field, but we didn't play on it because there was a soccer game happening when we visited. We were here for a birthday party, and it seems like a great place to have a party. You get your own space with tables and a staff member to help, and then you set your hellions loose to burn off the sugar from the birthday cake. It's a really fun place for boys and girls who are adventurous and need an outlet for their energy. One of the things that I appreciate was that there was a staff member at each area, and several at the trampolines. They are always watching everything that's happening, and will remind you of the rules if they see you breaking them. I like my kids to have fun, but I like them to be safe more. In order to use the zipline, you need to weigh at least 35 pounds. Keep that in mind when planning a trip! Kids who weigh less than 35 pounds can play in the toddler section. read more

And as many times as we have been here, never had any 3 hours unlimited for 3 kids $83.85 This trip to Zip City was for the Indoor Soccer league. More like zip town. One straight zip line that you complete in 20 seconds for $25. It. Gets. Worse. I went with a group of 11 and they pointed out people to weigh in a group of women. "She needs weighed, she needs weighed...anyone weighing more than 200lbs needs weighed." Two people didn't come forward... bc they didn't weigh 200 and yet they asked them to come weigh in. The weight restriction is 250. They disqualified one of the moms in the group so she couldn't do any activities with her daughter. This place was boring and overpriced. read more

A great place for indoor zip lining, rock climbing, laser tag,and jumping! There is even a small area for toddlers, "toddler town", this is for toddlers who are 3 years and under, HOWEVER who don't weight over 35lbs. This is important to know if your doing a birthday party here. Also note, even if you pay for one hour of for example toddler town, if your guest arrive 615 or 620 then too bad, that's part of their hour that's gone even though your party is rented until 8pm. Everything is pre paid, therefore you are supposed to know how many toddlers are coming and their weight too otherwise you end up paying for 2 extra toddlers who are over 35lbs, they aren't allowed in & it's non refundable money. The pizzas are actually from a third party outside so you must know ahead how much to order, no biggie there. I highly recommend you do NOT rent here for a birthday party! It is not worth it. Your given a room with 3 tables, with a green liner on them, that's literally it. They are not set up & ready anyway for when food arrives, not even napkins are out! They have 1 person rush to start preparing everything at half an hour before your to leave! The beverages that you order your not allowed to have supposedly until 30 min before your time to leave. We received our pizzas at 732p, beverages at 7:40, thats 20 min before we were supposed to leave. On top of being expected to eat in that time frame, those 20 min included cake time too!!! My 5 min cake rush was a mess too, the gal offered to help cut and pass out cake, I already didn't get to eat pizza or beverages bc I was busy getting pizza for kids, cake was cut in such big pieces even for the 2 year olds that many people didn't get cake including the birthday boy. I would think Birthday child should be first to get any cake. This is the chaos result of hungry & thirsty people having to wait until 20 min before our time is up there! So you see note, that you really only get the room for 20 some minutes. When I approached staff to ask questions, the girls there are very young & don't seem like they know what they are doing, and the one assigned you us even would roll her eyes at me. I had many un happy guest. Several children in my group wore glasses and note, they are NOT allowed to play dodge ball there with glasses. But you can at sky zone. I've had much better experience at other places, take your party & money else where like Deffy or sky zone who actually throw great parties and have much better helpful staff. I spent about 600$ and regret I chose zip city. This is a great place for just an hour or two of fun but in no way are they prepped for parties here. read more

This is a really great option on the south side for indoor fun. Zip City has laser tag, basketball, sky obstacle course, trampolines, rock climbing and of course zip lining. We came early on a Saturday and it wasn't that busy. I think we paid around $20 for 2 hours of play and our 10 yr old had a blast. Way more bang for you buck than Skyzone. read more

First, make sure you wear tennis shoes - they don't allow you to wear crocs, cleats, sandals or flip flips. We opted for the unlimited 2-hour package for $25/person, which includes the following attractions: - Zip line - Rock walls - Trampolines & foam pits - Obstacle course - Laser tag - Toddler area (3 years and under) - Sky Lounge Areas not included in the unlimited pass: - Arcade games - Party rooms - Concession stands The only area that has a height limit is the obstacle course (54"). Of course, you're attached to a zip line for safety purposes. Participants must be 3 years old or older, and weigh between 35 to 250 pounds. They offer unlimited 2-hour, 3-hour, and al la carte pricing for the attractions. They have a locker area for your items, but you must bring your own lock. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I didn't take photos because we weren't there long enough. Height requirements are not posted out front only age and weight limitations. After I had paid and my son tried to do the ropes course we were told he was too short. The owner refused a refund. We would have stayed to enjoy the other activities that had a lower height requirement but the owner or manager was so rude right off the bat that we left. My son was in tears and he was rude to him and rude to me right from the start. Please go somewhere else! The carpet was just as nasty as you would imagine 20 year old carpet to be and there was at anywhere for parents to sit and watch their kids. The teenage employees were more respectful that the old man in charge. I feel bad that they are learning customer relations from such an inept teacher. read more

This is our first visit to Zip City! The attractions here for the kids are great! Zip lining, laser tag, trampolines, sponge pits, rock walls, obstacle courses, little kids area etc. There is a concession stand one the first floor. The food is well ....not so good , frozen pretzels with enough salt to send you into a coma. They do have a concession area upstairs with upstairs restrooms which is great. The upstairs concession area was closed today-Sunday. They do serve beer in BIG cups! There is also indoor soccer. If you are going to have a party save your money on renting a room and bring it upstairs! We did see a table with a cake. If you are bringing older people be aware that the stairs can be intimidating. However once you make it upstairs you could stay up there for the whole time and enjoy couch seating. I wouldn't want to be here on a packed day but what place isn't better during off peak hours. Great indoor fun for the kids and adults as well who wanna play. Took my daughter here, to try it out. Prices are comparable to other places. She had fun with what time we had.. got a two hour pass, lines where not really that long. But it took 1hour and 45 min to do the zip line, sky course, and the rock wall, ONE TIME EACH.. the staff is so slow getting you ready and had the attitude that they did what to be there. I witness one staff member bulling on another in front of the guest. The Concession Area was very dirty. The staff behavior and the dirty conversation stand is why I give this place two stars. read more

This is the best time I've had in a long time. Me and the family had tons of fun here at Zip City. I definitely felt my age and not a spring chick on the trampolines, but it was still a great time. There's something for everyone. They have: -the zip line; so much fun. I was a little scared at first (I thought I was going to get the sunken feeling in my tummy, but I didn't) The ride down was really smooth and not nearly as frightening as I thought it would be. It's about 30ft or so, not too high, so try it. -the laser tag. These kiddos are serious about some laser tag. There's a new game every 12 mins and there's obstacles all over the place making it really fun. -the trampolines. I like the fact that there's more than trampolines here.This in my opinion is better than the sky zone place up on the northside. There's four different trampoline areas. A basketball trampoline area; a dodge ball trampoline area; an area where you can jump into this huge plastic blobby thing (don't you just love my description); it was fun and then just a free-for-all trampoline. You definitely get a workout here. We didn't get to experience the soccer part, but it looked like lots of fun. You get into these jumbo plastic balls and roll around trying to make goals. We would have tried it, but we kept circulating the zip line and laser tag :) -there's a rock wall. Four different difficulties. Great workout. Simply put, it's a lot of fun; fun for the whole family. Even if you don't want to participate in any of the activities, they have a lounge area where you can watch tv, order food, sodas and simple drinks in the "bar" area. There are private rooms for birthday parties. There is also a couple game areas to play arcade games. You get game coins when you purchase a 2-hour pass. **A couple tips: if it's your first time, you fill out a waiver form at the computers on the wall before you purchase any packages (just in case it's crowded and no one tells you) On Fridays you get a 3-hour pass for the price of 2-hours. They offer military discounts (bring ID). Wear athletic attire and leave your jewelry at home. If you do bring valuables, they have lockers but you have to have your own lock. FUN ALERT!!! This is an awesome fun place for kids, teenagers and even adults. We held our sons 11th birthday here. There were 8 boys and they had an absolute ball. The facility is newly constructed and very spacious. They have zip line, soccer ball, laser tag and more. The boys enjoyed all of the activities but leaned more towards the zip line and soccer ball. There were a few adults enjoying the zip line. The setup is very cool for parents. There is an upper deck with tables and comfy couches. The upper deck provides views for all of the activities. Parents can watch kiddos or grab a book or iPad and relax a bit. We went on a Friday and it happened to be snowing so it wasn't crowded at all. It was a very fun evening. I definitely recommend this place as an evening out for kids. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this business and its employees. We brought in a large 80 + group of children, teens and adults. They accommodated us and really pulled out all the stops and red carpet. We will definitely return to this venue for our church fun night! So pleased. This place is perfect for kids and kids at heart! Zip lining, laser tags, rock climbing, trampolines.. there's something for everyone to enjoy. They run pretty good deals sometimes ($19 for 2 hours unlimited over the summer) and the food and drinks are really reasonable prices as well. It's clean and nicely setup. The black couches are really comfortable, especially if you're an adult waiting while the kids play. The metal chairs are rough though. I definitely recommend ZipCity! read more
