Myself and four friends visited this Bowling alley on Saturday 3/5/2016, and I guarantee you that it will be the last time we ever step foot in this place.
We were situated almost in the middle (lane 18) during a busy night, so it was a bit crowded - as you could expect. We paid for 2 games each, got started, and had a blast. Towards the end of our second game, I went up to the counter to add three more games so we could keep on playing.
When I came back to the lane, a new group had started on the lane to the left of us - a group of bratty stuck-up teenagers with an infant - at 11pm on a Saturday.
We went about our business, drinking, having a good time, and minding our own business. My wife got a strike, and I celebrated with her with a kiss- as most married people would do. That apparently didn't sit well with the trailer trash seated next to us, as they instantly shoved their snotty little noses into business that wasn't theirs, and very loudly started to express their distaste. You think a slutty teenager with a kid would be used to that kind of thing, but I digress..
We ignored them at first, and told them multiple times to mind their own business and play their own game, and let us play ours, but it's obviouly their mouths are used to working overtime. They decided to start insulting my wife, and telling us to "watch your f---ing mouth around my baby", etc. There's only so much I can tolerate before I say something back, which I gladly did. Words were said, as would be expected, we put them in their place, and they went up to the counter to request to switch lanes. Problem solved, or so we thought.
We finish our 4th game and prepare for our 5th and last game, and the screen tells us that the game was stopped "for our convenience"..or some such crap. A very rude black man who didn't have any sort of employee verification or identification came up and told us we were to leave immediately due to a complaint, to which I explained: "That's funny - no one who works here even bothered to come ask us our side of the story, or talk to us first." He accused me multiple times of being belligerent - which i was not, I was being very calm and polite to him in every way possible. I told him multiple times I had no issue with him, I had an issue with my money being taken from me. I even tried to shake his hand to show him there were no hard feelings between us, and he scoffed and said something derogatory towards me that I will not repeat.
I told him we weren't going anywhere because we had paid for a 5th game. So we were either going to play our game, or give us my money back. He told me no, multiple times, despite the fact that I was trying my best to be civil and polite with him. I requested to see the manager on duty multiple times, which he declined, so I went up to the counter myself.
The old lady at the counter was a little bit nicer - she actually refunded the cost of my last game - but didn't even seem to care about our experience, our side of the story, or what exactly happened. She handed me a car with the owner(?);s information in it, and they will be getting a call shortly. You can guarantee that Royal Pin corporate will hear about this incident as well.
We gave this place over $200 that night on games and drinks, and they would rather kick us out over the words of some teenage whores who can't even afford a babysitter.
Avoid this place at all costs. Customer service is nonexistant, and they don't care about their paying customers. read more
