First time and last time here! Racial profiling (check) bad customer service (check) jerks (check) came here about 2 AM as it's a 24 hour bowling alley. Walked in and immediately got the vibes hmm we're probably not welcome here mind you it's 4 of us and one of us were white. From the cop to the workers everyone was acting weird. I had some water in my purse it was Saratoga so I can see how someone unfamiliar with the brand would think it's something else he told me I can't drink outside drinks in the establishment I said it's just water and tried to show him he said again no outside beverages...I continued to drink it because it's WATER you can't tell me not to drink water. I spent over $20 on their version of a touch tunes music system and they kept turning all my songs down. TF is that about? All the music was edited and it's 2 in the morning with no music playing at a 24 hour bowling alley. The final straw was one of the workers coming over and telling one of my friends "the orange ball was for women and children only"...MIND YOU none of us ever grabbed this ball to bring to our lane it was already there! Literally was one thing after the other my friend who drove said let's go we didn't even play our entire hour. read more

After reserving lanes for a birthday at a different bowling spot just to show up and find out that they didn't have lanes available for us, we were super bummed. Found this place on google and drove right on over. We were helped by Clyde. He was super friendly and attentive! We had an amazing time. Will be returning, highly recommend. The boys wanted to go bowling on Christmas Day, and the one we wanted to go to was not open. Fortunately, this place was. It's a very small bowling alley and the parking lot looked full, but we took our chances and thankfully we did. The worker told us there was a very long wait, but since we only had 4 people, he said he would move us up the line, and we were able to get a lane right away (we felt very lucky). We have member cards, but since it was so busy, there was no discount on this day. This day was very crowded inside, but we did get a table close to our lane that had 4 seats, perfect for us. These lanes seem smaller than other bowling alleys, and the pins are on strings. The workers put the names in for you, unlike other bowling alleys we have been too. We had the choice of bowling for 1 hour or 1.5 hours, and we chose 1.5 hours. The cost for 1.5 hours of bowling time and shoes for four was $91. Even with the business, they had balls available to use. We were able to bowl two full games to completion in this time. They have food and drinks for sale. My husband purchased a tall mango cart can for $5. They have a machine to purchase songs, so music is played in the building. We enjoyed our time! read more

Scents and smells of cigarettes from decades past, bowling balls that are greasy enough to feel like they've been dipped in cooking oil, and the same layout I can remember from bowling as a kid, this place brings the nostalgia. The prices were a tad pricy, but you can bowl as many times as you can in the time slot you pay for. It's an older building and there's not a lot of flair like you see in some places that try to be trendy. But Beech Grove Bowl has heart. More than that, they have everything you need--12 lanes, plenty of good food and drinks, music, and arcade games. And they're open (normally) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week... which blows my mind. You could literally go bowl whenever you want to! You want claw machines? They've got claw machines. You want to play some 90s pop while you bowl? You can select on the touchscreen "jukebox." You want to play the world's largest PAC-Man? That's here, too. Wanna bowl with your toddler? They have shoes that will fit their tiny feet, bumpers, and "slides" they can push the ball down. Looking for an adult league or youth bowling program? They've got you covered! It's an older building, but they've done some renovating. My only complaint is there's a bit of a (musty?) smell inside. They do have gluten free pizza crust, so that's a huge plus in my book! My fam loves the calzones and slushies. They even have Dip'N'Dots now. Very old. Lanes were uneven and pins were attached to wires. Our lane had lots of problems with locking up. Food was good thank goodness! If you live in the neighborhood, I can see why people spend time there on the weekends. It's close. It's familiar. There are only 12 lanes. We were there for my daughter's 21st birthday and I was embarrassed once everyone showed up. But, it worked out and we made the best of it. read more

This was weird. About 10 years ago, I'd come to this place all the time after work because it was 24/7. What happened? We walked in, and immediately it smelled old and dirty. We walked up to the counter to see how much it was to bowl. $6.25 per game and $3 for shoes. Not bad! I told the nice guy that we would bowl 2 games. He said "I am not supposed to take any new games right now, but you can put your name and number on the wait list, it will be about 20 minutes" weird, because about 80% of lanes were open, but I said "okay, can we grab a drink while we wait?" he said "no, I'm sorry. But I have to ask you to wait in your car. There's been a lot of violence around here lately so that's why there's a wait" ..... what???? When was the violence? What was the violence? Should you even still be open?? Big yikes. We left and went to another bowling alley. Funny because they didn't call us till 55 min later. on January 15th me and my family drove from greenwood to bowl and have a dinner at a recommended bowling alley. i remember coming here as a kid and enjoying this place the food everything about it was great experience. we come in to get two lanes and were told its league night so its going to be a 45 minute wait which was fine. it was 7 of us including my 7month old daughter. not even five minutes go by and JEREMIAH is approaching us telling us we cant sit at the table we were at and to move down one, not even in a nice way he was actually quite rude whatever we move down and wait an HOUR as him and another female employee is giving other people lanes. which was fine we ignored it and moved on- we then tried to order food and were told we couldnt order anything because we didnt have a lane ? as walking away the two employees start giggling and talking about all of us- if you want to go to have a good time and be treated with respect do not go to this establishment its trash if i could put 0 stars i would read more

So first of all let's start with the entire staff was either drunk or high....but that was the least of my problems. We were not told there was a $2.50 service charge for EACH transaction. After being told my total was $67.50 I was then charged $69 I think it is wrong to tell someone a price and it would actually be something else. Ok... limited review. I keep ordering calzones from these folks via DoorDash, but haven't actually been through their doors. Friends say this is THE place locally for bowling night with friends... I'll update later, if/when this happens. In the meantime... CALZONES. Huge 10" ones, cut into thirds. Shiny golden crisp crust, spicy sausage, tender sautéed onions and mushrooms, long strings of gooey melty cheese with every bite. I order extra marinara for dipping, and generally make a giant mess gobbling it all to the last crumb. Best of all (well, besides the deliciousness) -- they're available for orders quite late at night. It's fabulous. Also well worth trying: the pepper jack mac 'n' cheese bites. Nom. Roasted cauliflower is also tasty, but the cheese-bacon variety comes with that orange-plastic nacho cheese that doesn't really resemble cheese. I ended up going to the Beech Grove Bowl on Saturday night January 23rd. Since, there's nothing to do in the city every bowling of that night was sold out. I remember I called bowling alleys as far North as Noblesville which was sold out. I made out there at 8pm, and my wait time was 30mins. Everyone, that went to Beech Grove Bowl only bowled two games, the bowling alley is 24hrs, yet they made sure everyone was able to bowl which was why the limit was two games. The bowling alley is small, goes up to twelve lanes, the front entrance there's no stairs so it's accessible to everyone including if you use a wheelchair, or other devices. Beech Grove Bowl does have a small game room area, they do sell food as well as drinks. You do have to wear your masks coming in, and leaving the bowling alley. I noticed while bowling there were a lot of ppl not wearing their masks. At night the bowling alley glows in the dark, and when bowling it changes to a piano that actually makes noises when the bowling ball is rowing. A little fun fact about Beech Grove Bowl is that it's been open for 24hrs since 1948. read more

This is not a full review because I stopped in to bowl a couple games to kill time while my dog was at the vet a few blocks away. I was the only person there besides the guy at the counter so I didn't really get the full experience with a packed house. I appreciate that the whole house is non-smoking. I can't believe it's open 24 hours. There must not be a lot to do in Beech Grove at 2 AM if they can afford to stay open all the time. I've heard the pizza is pretty good here so I'll have to come back and try it sometime. Warning: Bowler-speak ahead! The lanes are extremely slick and go long, so come prepared. Only went here because Royal Pin was closed for New Years Eve. This place was old and washed. Had only about 10 lanes. There wasn't much seating at all. we had to sit all the way back away from our lane because a party of 4 had the closer table. The most annoying thing was that our balls kept getting stuck time after time. We'd wait about 2 minutes at times. The guy at the counter said there was nothing he could do, it just takes time. Only cool thing about this alley is that they have a camera that records you as you bowl so you can see what you look like. Can't say I'd be back. We had the best service by two wonderfully unhappy women working the counter and kitchen. Their faces looked as if they've never seen an Asian, black or Mexican race before. We thought maybe we'd be polite and ask for two games, and some food and drinks. After getting our seats and lane, one by one the dissatisfied women brought out our food while we bowled. In particular, the pizza seemed as if it caused them a great deal of trouble, the women dropped it on the table behind us, and walked away in distress as she said no words. It all tasted basic and as expected so that wasn't a let down, but although I live like 5 min or less from location and it was delivered early by DoorDash, everything pretty much arrived cold! The warmest thing was the cheese sauce. The pizza was loaded with meat, the crust soft but edges crispy which I liked. The bosco stick was buttered and topped with Parmesan. It was cold enough though that there was No pull to the cheese inside. The cauliflower was roasted perfectly, still had chew, and topped generously with cheese sauce and lots of bacon! The Mac and cheese bites were dry and didn't have any creamy cheese in them, but the flavor was there. Based on the situation I would say everything had been sitting out precooked for awhile not even under a warmer. Honestly I would order again just because it's local and the flavors were there, I would highly encourage they improve on items being warm at the very least! This place was a hole in the wall bowling alley. I was a little nervous walking in - felt like I was walking into a saloon (tumbleweed.... tumbleweed) but it was really cute and I think I enjoyed this more than the large commercial bowling alleys. We went on a Wednesday evening (after 8pm) $2 games, $2 shoes. So the price was awesome! We double dated with my brother and his girlfriend and I had been watching YouTube videos all day on how to bowl better and scored the lowest score. So that made me so sad - seeing as the losing couple had to pay for the winning couple :( Anyways I ordered the mini donuts - they were pretty good. We also played a few video games and called it a night. My only complaint was that our pins had to reset 3-4 times and it's a manual re-set so the workers there had to walk to the back and get everything in order before we could bowl again - so that stunk (pee-u). Have we been bowling three times in the past two weeks? Absolutely. Did Beech Grove Bowl have us crawling back each time? Yes, they sure did. That bacon garlic cheesy bread was enough to have me drooling before I even touched a bowling ball. Now I will say the bowling alley is a little rough around the edges; it's a little old and could use a face lift. But who cares when they have cameras to record your form leading up the pins and the lanes work darn near flawlessly. Today we even became members so we could participate in casino night bowling. Every time you bowled a strike, a slot machine would pop up and if you matched three symbols, you win money. We only one $2 tonight, but let's just say we were off our game a bit. What's another great thing about this place? They're open 24 hours. We have a little one so we can't be out til 2 anymore, but we bowled til about 11 tonight. The staff takes a little warming up to, but we might have been the 1st interracial couple they've seen in there (we're weird looking, it's ok to stare at us lol). Each time we've been in, we end up laughing with one of the staff members by the end of the night. I feel like they have been adding us to the bowling family these past two weeks and we love it! My boyfriend was ensuring I would give them a good review tonight because we love the simplicity and consistency of this place. If you're looking for some awesome family fun in the Beech Grove area that has good food and great prices, Beech Grove Bowl is your place. We had come here and there, but lately we've been coming more often because we've been really enjoying ourselves. We have gotten familiar with a couple of the staff and they know what we want to order when we come in (2-large pepperoni and bacon cheese fries...hmmm delicious). They are open 24-hours. Rain or shine...even on the holidays. I love that because when our children are out of school, we have something to do (not sure if the staff enjoys it but...). I think this is the only 24-hour bowling alley in the city and its less than 10 mins from where we live so very convenient. They have a few "loyalty" programs sort of speak. You can sign up to be a member. As a meaner you save money per game. They also have their own phone app where you can check on daily specials, the menu and things that are going on at the alley. They have a rewards program for every large pizza you buy you get a stamp and after 5-6 stamps you get a free pizza. And the pizzas are delicious and straight forward. The burgers are good. I love my burgers with all the fixin's (lettuce tomato onion) and although Beech Grives only come with choice of bacon, cheese and pickles; they are quite delicious. There's youth programs to sign up for for the summer; different special events that they advertise so there's something for everyone. Grab the family go check them out. (& yes u have to pay to listen to music unless you want to fall asleep bowling in the dead silence). When I asked why are you cleaning up the balls he got nasty and said we were done & I asked how when we all paid to play a game he just walked away from me. I followed him and asked again he told me we all pay to play one game. So all in all we payed 45$ for one game of bowling & terrible experience. Whoa! Talk about Beech Grove's biggest secret. My best friends had heard about this place when they had out-of-towners looking for some activity in Indianapolis at 3 in the mornin. Insert Indy's only 24-hour bowling alley (correct me if I'm wrong but pretty sure it's the only one...) So I had to check it out. They literally only have 12 lanes, a handful of arcade games, and a 24-hour kitchen to fulfill your snacking needs! A tad pricey, for 2 games and shoes for 4 people cost $50! Maybe I haven't gone bowling in a while, but berk in mer der.... Anywho, it was a lot of fun! You can check out the video replay of your turn at the pins. And the biggest surprise at the end of the night, (after a boys vs. girls battle, girls winning and boys having to buy the winner their choice of food...) THE PEANUT BUTTER, REESE PIECES AND BACON DESSERT PIZZA. You're like WHAAAAT? And I'm like AHHHHHH !!! Where has this been all my life?! Seriously, with surprised left and right, I could've sworn I was on a roller coaster. Just fantastic customer service, the guys were a hoot and the atmosphere was chill. Love this place. We are local and this is our go to bowling alley. It isnt big like expo but has the perfect amount of lanes. Be warned though that if you decide to visit to play a couple games on a Friday night or Saturday night you will be more than likely waiting. Friday night is cosmic bowling night. And Saturday is just busy. But overall great bowling alley. We love their bacon breadstick thing so freaking good. We love supporting local business especially in our town. If you sign up for the bowler card thing they send you free bowling to use before your birthday. You get like a month to use it. Have tons of bowling leagues to sign up for including kids leagues during the summer time. Overall great place, we always reccomend to anyone wanting a good bowling alley. read more

Stopped in to bowl four games with my kids while in Indy. The staff is very helpful and the technology in the alley is really top notch for the size. Automatic bumpers? Very nice! Facility and lanes are in great shape. Would recommend stopping by if you have some time -- great fun. This place was small and the lanes were heavily oiled, but once you're used to the lanes it becomes far more fun. I enjoyed the interactive projected cosmic bowling they offer. Came here to get some early morning practice games in for my son. Small 12-lane house, with tech upgrades to enhance your bowling experience. Video playback and ball speed monitor are great tools to help with your game. The place is 24-hours and it was clean, plenty of parking, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. If your like me and get off work around 10:30 and wondering what to do, you will love this place. 24 hr bowling with friends is a good stress reliever and is a good break from the other very limited activities you can do late nite. The bowling ally is usually empty, which I think is great! No awkward feeling when someone on the lane next to you walks up to bowl at the same time. If I could give zero stars I would! I don't recommend this place at all. Their customer service is the worst ever!! We have tried to bowl here multiple times and EVERY time we get treated like crap. Call on the phone and they tell you one thing. Drive there 15 mins later and it's changed. Stand at the counter waiting to be helped and they ignore you even after they have looked right at you and walked right by you. And then start helping everyone else that arrived after you.
