Beyond that, there are more play structures and a basketball area with trampolines. In the back half of the building, there's a rice pit (basically like a sandbox, but with rice instead of sand), a very fun smaller ball pit with interactive screens - throw the balls at the video game projection and blow up the bad guys, a lego area, and a small arcade (additional purchase required). We saw dozens and dozens of kids having the best time of their life. There was a good amount of seating for adults throughout the building, so we always had a place to sit to keep an eye on the kids. There are lots of hand sanitizer stations throughout and we frequently saw workers with vacuums. We played for 3 hours and our kid could have stayed much longer. I would guess older kids might get bored more quickly, but for preschool or early elementary kids, Smiley seems like heaven. You do have to buy the Smiley grippy socks, but that's a standard penalty for play places these days. After you're done playing, hit up Bugambilias a few doors down for amazing Mexican food!

You pay $1 for a rechargeable swipe card and most machines are 1 swipe with a few being 2 swipes. You can load whatever amount you want onto your card but they give you extra credits for 29 and 50 dollar purchases. There is also a recharge machine up front. There is a large stuffie in most machines and you can win it if you get 3 of the same prize from that machine. There are also larger stuffed animals and backpacks at the counter you can trade up for. Any 3 small animals for one of the larger on the counter and when we were there it was 5 small animals for a backpack off the counter. What I liked was that the claw tensions were set so you could actually win prizes. We left with about 9 or 10 item. Several key chains, a large stuffie I traded for and 4 small stuffies. They were all good quality too! I don't plan to go back any time soon because I don't need anymore stuffed animals but I sure do want to go back. lol I've recommended this place to several friends and some have already taken their kids. We spent about $30 per person and won 4 big capybaras plus 3 small stuffed animals across 5 of us. Even offered to fluff up some of the toys when they saw a young kid struggling to win on one. The sign does say arcade but this is 95% claw machines with one or two VR type games in the back. Come for the claw machines - it's a lot of fun but plan on spending $20-30 per person.

There is plenty of parking in front of the building. We do live on the Southside so it was a 35-40 minute drive to get here. And when you have a toddler, that could make it or break it before you even get there! But we made it thankfully. It was $16.00 per child for 2 hours and the adults were free. I do think that is a high price and was one of the reasons why I gave them 4 stars. The other reason was the drive. For us Southsiders, it is a far drive especially when you have a screaming toddler in the backseat who does not want to be strapped down any longer. They do have a lot for kids! When you walk in, there is a baby/toddler area with smaller toys. Then there is a little drawing area and off to the sides there are plenty of little rooms for different children's needs. Whether they just need a time out, there's a room for that, whether they just want to play music, there's a room for that, whether they just need a dark, quiet room due to sensory overload, yep you guessed it, there's a room for that too. We spent most of our time in the back area with the swings and large trampoline. I would definitely recommend trying this place out! This is one of our favorite play places in Indy. And I love how parents can relax with one of the many options of chairs that are sitting all around the area. I love that the Play Place actually is very tall. I am a 57 woman and can't fit into a lot of places where I'm not crouching so this was fantastic. I could stand all the way up. They even hold classes here like Zumbini with Nykki classes, mommy tool kit classes and even more. They also have a nice little lunch area so you can bring your lunch and you can stay for even longer and they have a snack bar. You can get snacks from if you ran out of snacks or want something different. They also have an adult lounge upstairs, which is really cool because it overseas the play area too so many great things come from this Play Place and I love going here.
