Love having an indoor playground on the north side of Indy in Westfield. My kids love Carter's. We were coming so often that we ended up getting a membership. Carter's is extremely clean and has several areas for kids to play in: a ball pit, trampoline, squishy cube pit, a baby area, indoor obstacle course, and more. There's also 3 themed rooms to play in when they are not being rented out for a party. Your kids must use their socks which are only $3. Parking is located in the front and back. There's no age limit, just weight limit for the trampoline and swings.

Yesterday was our first time visiting and my son loved it so much he didn't want to leave! There's so much for the kids to do and they have it sectioned off by age groups which is wonderful. The play spaces are no shoe zones for kids and parents which I really appreciated because kids shouldn't be playing where nasty shoes have been! They offer popcorn and free coffee/tea for parents. They also offer an area (table and chairs ) for parents to sit and watch your children interact and okay while you work etc. We can't wait to return!

    Indoor zipline?! YES PLEASE.

Carter's Play Place is an indoor gem in our community. We're so fortunate to have a space that accommodates different needs and abilities. Our kids love the swings, the zip line and trampoline - we've been going from the ages of 14 months to 7 and all kids love it and don't want to leave. The staff is friendly, caring and helpful. They keep the place very clean and are so kind to the kids! As a parent, you're in a bit of a judgement free zone as well which is really nice. The photo is my 4 yr old doing the zipline and LOVING IT!! Thank you Carter's - we're glad you are in the community!

Hooray! Fun for everyone! It makes my heart smile to see that there are fun places to play that are for kids of all abilities. Carter's Play Place is one of those places. The indoor playground is designed with special needs in mind. First (and most important for me), there is NO music playing! Yes! This means a less stressful atmosphere for kids (and adults) who are easily overwhelmed with lots of noise. They also have a separate "quiet room" for people to hang out if the action gets to be too much. Wide windows invite the natural light in, so the space feels very peaceful, even when it's packed with playing kids. Beyond the aesthetics, there are so many fun toys and equipment to play with! In the middle of the room is a variety of swings. There is even a cool swing that lets you fly through the air like Superman! There's a zipline, a slide, a trampoline, bikes to ride around the room, toddler toys, a train table, and a sensory table. I should mention that all of these fun things are accessible to all kids, special needs or not. The staff here also is very involved with showing kids how to use the playground equipment if they don't already know how, or just assisting them with playing. Just off the main play area is another small room with a pretend kitchen, pretend washing machine, little tables, and pretend cleaning stuff like mops and brooms. There is also an area for babies, with baby toys. They have a full kitchen here, with refrigerator, microwave, sink, and the best part ... free popcorn, bottled water and coffee! So awesome. I also love the fact that they have a relaxing nook area with two comfy couches and pillows, as well as free Wifi. We probably could have stayed all day! We had so much fun.

The cafe is large and clean with a variety of different formats for the children to play in. Having a dress up area, some segmented areas for blocks and trains, and individual "store fronts" was great. Our kids had a wonderful time. The only reason I took a star away was inconsistent application of rules as many children were not wearing grip socks while it was included as a requirement. We were asked to purchase these from the cafe when we checked in... which if it is an established rule is fine, but a little annoying that the rule isn't universally applied. The play cafe is also a bit more expensive at ~$17 per child ages 1-10 with no discount for multiple children (as of Feb 2026) compared to other play cafes we have been to. It also did start getting quite crowded around 10:00 AM and there didn't seem to be an end in sight. Still, it is a nice cafe and I'd recommend it to others looking for a place to take your kids, especially if you can avoid the peak periods.

Within…read more30 minutes, I was at the register purchasing a $157 monthly pass (4 months) for the toddler area. I was impressed enough that I texted three friends photos, told my wife to start planning our son's birthday party here, and was actively asking managers about upgrading to full access because I had just discovered the larger "Adrenaline" area. For context: it's Indiana winter, it was cold, and I had a hooded sweatshirt on with the hood up because I was freezing. During my 2 1/2-hour stay, I spoke with two managers about memberships--neither said a word about my hood. While walking around trying to keep up my child, I heard someone off to the side say, "Take your hood off." I approached the man, who asked me politely. I politely asked why it was a rule. His response was shocking: "So I can see your entire face on my 50 cameras." This was 11:30 a.m. on a Friday, not a packed weekend night. I turned away to continue looking for my child, removed the hood, and muttered "whatever dude" under my breath. That's when the situation escalated wildly. He charged toward me, yelling: "I'm the owner--if you don't like it, leave!" I had already complied. That wasn't enough. He then shouted: "I'll give you your money back!" And finally said something that truly crossed a line: "If there are off-colored people with hoods up and we ask them to take it down, what would that look like?" I'm still trying to understand why race was brought into this at all. Let me be clear: * The facility is great for kids * The staff and managers were wonderful * We were not leaving anytime soon until this happened But the owner's behavior was aggressive, unnecessary, and completely inappropriate. A simple rule explanation would've sufficed. Instead, it turned into a power trip with racial commentary that had no place in the conversation. Rules are rules--but how you enforce them matters. I'll take the refund. And I'll take my business elsewhere.

Children injured themselves on the zip line. I was approached by a woman who claimed to be part owner of the place and she asked me why "we" had called the owner and lied about the staff. May I add that she was also cursing when addressing me. Apparently the party hostess called the owner to address her concerns. Another parent asked that staff watch their language in front of the kids. The request set the staff off and things between staff and parents quickly escalated! The part owner of the place turned off the buildings breaker when another parent stated she was calling the police. Children were caught in the deflated bounce houses in the dark! Another parent had to turn the breaker back on because the woman refused to do so. I'm still stunned and angry at the lack of professionalism, blatant disregard for the children's safety, and the lack of empathy for the children who were screaming in fear! Myself and other parents had to pull children out and direct them to the party room for their safety. My son later told me that children were frightened because they thought the building was being robbed.
