First time here and I know it was an arcade bar, but it a VERY serious arcade bar. I love how they have a good variation of old school manual arcade games all the way up to modern virtual games. We didn't bring any change or plan on spending money for the games. We will have to plan accordingly for our next visit! Great cocktails here and I have a feeling there are great vibes on a bus Friday or Saturday night.

The drinks were great! And decor was nice with all the free games great for friends to hangout or start the night. Definitely will be back again! The staff was friendly and informative about the drinks.

This place is so much fun! Staff were helpful. Drinks are pretty cheap. Lots of fun on-theme decorations, too.

I can't believe I haven't done a review at Tappers! I've been coming here some I moved to Indy 5 years ago. What keeps me coming back is the great hospitality, the awesome events, and of course free games! Tappers is always throwing themed events with my favorite being their annual Halloween party. But they also have weekly trivia that's super fun. They have rotating drafts, a great cocktail list, and free games and awesome pinball machines. Tappers is a place where I genuinely feel like I can be myself without judgement.

The place is super cool! I was surprised they had a smash bros setup but also they have other consoles too. It's just a straight up bar though. I don't think I saw any food but definitely a fun place to go with the homies. The staff were really cool too. I definitely recommend visiting this spot!

This place was so fun!!!! Talk about a blast from the past. It was a great way to connect with your inner child while having something to drink. Best of both worlds!!! We will definitely be visiting again.

stopped in here during a night out and was amazed by all the different games they had. This place was pretty big when I kept on walking through. There's a bar, no food is available. games are free but you do have to pay for their pinball machines they had hand sanitizer stations through out which I loved. will be back for more game play! a great place to spend with friends and to feel like a child again

I have heard about this place for many years. I finally got visit it this weekend. I was blown away. There are SO MANY retro arcade games to play, and the best part is that the games are free to play!!!!!! We spent about 3 hours there and only played maybe 10% of the arcade games. I can not wait to go back and play more!!!! The music was great, the drinks were good. Craft beer, domestic beer, mixed drinks, and cocktails available. There was hand sanitizer everywhere, which was comforting. There were also coat racks throughout the establishment, which were all being used. Highly highly recommend this place for date night or for a night out with friends.

If you're looking to relive the 80s and 90s arcade experience, this is the place for you. They literally have hundreds of classic arcade games that you can play for FREE! There is a 1 drink minimum, but you were going to drink anyway right? Just think of any classic arcade game and they most likely have it. I seriously can't over sell this place. It is nirvana. They also have a Nintendo 64, a Game Cube, a Super NES and a Nintendo Switch you can play alone or with your friends. And don't worry, they have hundreds of those games you can play too. And if that wasn't enough, they have an entire room of classic pinball games to play. Pinball however is the only game you need to pay the traditional $0.25 per game to play. The drinks are great too! Do not miss this Indianapolis gem.

The game selection is a dream if you grew up on old-school consoles and arcade cabinets. I loved bouncing between retro video games, a few intense rounds of skee-ball, and even some ping pong--it's the perfect mix of casual fun and a little friendly competition. The drinks were a standout too--creative, well-made, and strong enough to keep the good vibes going. On top of that, the service was great--friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming without being over the top. We also grabbed some light bites, which hit the spot without slowing us down from getting back to the games. It's the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time (in the best way). Whether you're going for a date night, group hang, or just to relive your arcade glory days, 16-Bit is a guaranteed good time. Definitely coming back.

My younger child (lower elementary age) was bored after about 45 minutes, but your mileage may vary. Boss Battle Games has a lot of cabinet-style arcade games, like Centipede, Pac-Man, Mortal Kombat and others. All of your Gen-X and Millennial video game dreams will be fulfilled here. They also have some pinball machines -- some you can play for an extra fee, and some seemed like they could be played with the price of admission. There are also some interactive games, like Dance Dance Revolution. Speaking of admission: You pay $15 for a wristband that grants you access to almost all of the video games, and you can come and go all day. If you're really into playing video games, this is a great deal. They don't sell any food or beverages here, so if you want something to eat or drink, you'll need to leave and come back. But since Boss Battle Games is located inside Castleton Mall, there are lots of places to find something to eat around the area.

Within…read more30 minutes, I was at the register purchasing a $157 monthly pass (4 months) for the toddler area. I was impressed enough that I texted three friends photos, told my wife to start planning our son's birthday party here, and was actively asking managers about upgrading to full access because I had just discovered the larger "Adrenaline" area. For context: it's Indiana winter, it was cold, and I had a hooded sweatshirt on with the hood up because I was freezing. During my 2 1/2-hour stay, I spoke with two managers about memberships--neither said a word about my hood. While walking around trying to keep up my child, I heard someone off to the side say, "Take your hood off." I approached the man, who asked me politely. I politely asked why it was a rule. His response was shocking: "So I can see your entire face on my 50 cameras." This was 11:30 a.m. on a Friday, not a packed weekend night. I turned away to continue looking for my child, removed the hood, and muttered "whatever dude" under my breath. That's when the situation escalated wildly. He charged toward me, yelling: "I'm the owner--if you don't like it, leave!" I had already complied. That wasn't enough. He then shouted: "I'll give you your money back!" And finally said something that truly crossed a line: "If there are off-colored people with hoods up and we ask them to take it down, what would that look like?" I'm still trying to understand why race was brought into this at all. Let me be clear: * The facility is great for kids * The staff and managers were wonderful * We were not leaving anytime soon until this happened But the owner's behavior was aggressive, unnecessary, and completely inappropriate. A simple rule explanation would've sufficed. Instead, it turned into a power trip with racial commentary that had no place in the conversation. Rules are rules--but how you enforce them matters. I'll take the refund. And I'll take my business elsewhere.

They do have age and weight limits that they strictly adhere to and I know the ceiling is 250 pounds, because I was knocking on the door of it and had to jump on the scale. You have to be at least three to join in on the fun, so I left the youngest little at home. This place is huge, approximately 72,000 square feet, and there are not many indoor kids play places on the south side of Indy, so this is a welcomed addition. They have zip lines, rock climbing walls, trampoline dodgeball, trampoline basketball, trampolines, a battle pit with foam blocks, trampoline air bag, laser tag, and a ropes course. There are also concession stands and video games. I must admit, that looks like a place that teleworking parents bring their kids while they work. They had some people there that looked like they were in a home office. The entire staff here is very friendly and helpful. Top notch all the way. You can bring your own helmet for the zip line, ropes course and rock climbing, which I recommend, so you know it fits, or they have common use ones that you can borrow They have 2 concession stands, one upstairs, by where you get on the zip-line and one downstairs. The upstairs one is only open on busy days. The downstairs one has a small arcade area and is their primary concession bar. They have candy, soft drinks, hot dogs, burger, fries, pretzels and other typical quick food. They are slightly higher priced than normal. I guess in line with movie theater prices. And they do not allow outside food or drinks. They have 4 zip lines that are all the same, but the number of lines open depends on how packed the place is. They were only running one line while I was there. There are some couches overlooking the zip line and some tables and chairs in the area of the upstairs concession stand that are some prime real estate. That is where some parents set up their hoe offices and also serves as a place to hold people's coats, shoes and other belongings. I did not see one free, while I was there. FYI: The ropes course has a higher height requirement than most of the attractions there. You should check it before you wait in line to make sure that your little is good to go. The rock climbing wall has two sections. One has a lot of attachments for little kids to grab and stand on. The other has much less attachments and is way more challenging. They have a toddler area, with a large bounce house and little toys. It is fenced off from the other areas. It is only for kids 2 years old and under or who are under 35 pounds. This is the only area in the complex that those kids can play. They play host to birthday parties and have a huge indoor soccer field where they hosts soccer leagues, football games and ultimate frisbee. It is very nice, with spectator bleachers and all. It can be rented out. They run some good specials, like their Hero Days on Wednesday and Thursday where Police, teachers, firefighters, nurses and military (along with their immediate family) get a discounted rate for 2 hours of unlimited stuff. It is a really good deal. You may also find an occasional Groupon deal as well. I really do not understand all the bad reviews this place got. My experience was awesome. My little and I had so much fun. She rode the zip line like they were closing it down for the season. She was able to easier navigate the rock climbing wall, which boosted her confidence as well as her ego. There is tons to do here, but I think two hours is good to do what you want to do. This is definitely the place to bring the little ones, but not too little. I highly recommend checking this place out.

There is also an indoor field, but we didn't play on it because there was a soccer game happening when we visited. We were here for a birthday party, and it seems like a great place to have a party. You get your own space with tables and a staff member to help, and then you set your hellions loose to burn off the sugar from the birthday cake. It's a really fun place for boys and girls who are adventurous and need an outlet for their energy. One of the things that I appreciate was that there was a staff member at each area, and several at the trampolines. They are always watching everything that's happening, and will remind you of the rules if they see you breaking them. I like my kids to have fun, but I like them to be safe more. In order to use the zipline, you need to weigh at least 35 pounds. Keep that in mind when planning a trip! Kids who weigh less than 35 pounds can play in the toddler section.
