The weather was going to be absolutely beautiful so we thought they would enjoy this. It is a weekday booking so I reserved a cabana online. The cost was $90 for 11 AM to 7 PM which is pretty pricey. I live in Phoenix, Arizona and full hotel resorts charge a simlar price. The price of the cabana does not include an entrance fee either, so you'd need to be a member for this pricing to make a whole lot of sense on a regular basis. I did look up the pricing online for the day pass entry and what was posted at the entrance gate was almost twice what was posted on line. We paid $57 entrance fee for our two grandchildren aged six and nine, grandpa is over 65 so he got a discount and I had to pay full adult price. That makes the cost of entry for a water park at almost $150. Anyway, with all of that aside, we did end up having a wonderful day and we were there about six hours. The kitty pool does not seem to be heated. It was very cold, but it is very shallow so I'm sure there is a reason behind that. We spent most of our time in the large activity pool that has a spot where my granddaughter could practice swimming, as well as a deep end where my older granddaughter could play. there is a water structure in here with a slide and buckets that dump on the kids. My older granddaughter enjoyed the variety of water slides. Neither of them were old enough to be able to handle the flow Rider. The lazy river ride was also nice. The lifeguards were extremely attentive and ensuring everyone was safe. And we were there from 10 AM to 4 PM and we only counted one 15 minute break where they emptied the activity pool. We did not partake in the concessions. We do appreciate the fact that Carmel allows you to bring in your own food. With the plethora of dietary issues, this was really appreciated. We did purchase snowcones, eventually as they were out out of ice by 2 PM, but they did end up getting refills. Our cabana had a wicker couch and four chairs, no cushions on anything. We had a working refrigerator and a power outlet as well as a Safe and two shelves we could store items. We did put two loungers in front of our cabana that we shared and used to dry our towels Staff was super friendly and helpful There are some shaded areas that are in the grass. If you do not rent a cabana, you may be able to nab a spot here. It appears you are able to also eat your own food in the grassy area or at the concession stand if you don't have a cabana. I did not see many shaded seats on the concrete around the pools. There were a couple of large structure umbrellas, but for the most part, you are in the sun. For a Monday, it wasn't busy in the morning but by afternoon time it was pretty packed. I did see a lot of vacant cabanas though so that would be an option. If you wanted to ensure you had a place to sit it's just pricey.

They are extremely friendly and helpful. There are plenty of chairs and even cabanas to rent. My only con is the bathroom smell. There were several times I took my toddler to the bathroom and they were wet (which is expected) but you could definitely smell the urine *yuck! Otherwise, everything was great! The two large water slides were the biggest hit with my granddaughters. The line moved quickly and they rode the slides many times. The wave pool was also fun for them. The splash pad area is colorful with a number of different interactive elements. They also liked the lazy river which they basically swim through as there are no inner tubes. My kids moved back and forth between the different areas and played for 90 minutes straight. A win in my book. The facility became very crowded very quickly. Busloads of summer camp kids showed up. The lifeguards are attentive, friendly and patient with the crowd of kids. Lifeguards rotate frequently. Equipment to assist special need individuals get into and out of the pool is available. A first aid station is also ready for medical needs. The restrooms need expansion and hourly attention. A small snack bar offers pizza, nachos, hot dogs, pretzels and other quick, unhealthy options. The food is terrible. Coolers and water bottles aren't allowed, but I saw a lot of people with soft bag-type coolers. The waterpark is a fun way to cool down on a hot day. Bring sunscreen, my kids wore goggles, water and snacks (no coolers). Wear suits in to avoid changing in restrooms. There is plenty of parking including a limited number of handicapped spaces.

So while I had both of my granddaughters for an extended weekend, we decided to make a fun trip all together and check this place out. Entry is cheap. They have resident/non resident prices. Adults are $5/6, students $4/5, small children $2/3. If they raised their prices even by just a dollar, I bet they'd be able to address some of the mounting issues. My daughter had warned me that she found their locker room and bathrooms to be absolutely disgusting. So we wore our suits in, and changed my toddler granddaughters in the car. While it was hassle to do so, especially with an oven hot car afterwards, I was glad we did when I saw the bathrooms for myself. Absolutely nasty with at least an inch to 2inches of water standing everywhere. That's a great way to catch something nasty...or you know, encourage people to just pee in the pool. They have family restrooms, but they are always locked and can't be used. Huge negative for families with small children. We were really frustrated, watching people literally hoard the inner tubes. Everywhere you looked, people had the tubes stacked up by their chairs or were lounging in the sun in them. The wave pool is not very big and it overcrowds quickly. Having an inner tube to cushion yourself from the blows of all the other people in the water is nice. And if you don't have a tube, all the other people in tubes almost become a danger to you at times. I was lucky to procure a discarded tube, by chance, as we made our way out to the deeper end. Pretty sure someone fell off...and I hope it was one of those people that had been hoarding stacks of tubes with their chairs/towels. We were shocked to find it so completely packed on a Monday. And then watched in horror as a bus of kids from day camp showed up. There were so many people that my teen son just couldn't handle it and spent most of our visit hanging out on his towel. The area that's designed for younger kids was pretty cool, except for the huge bucket of water that dumps from up high. There is so much water, coming down at such a force that it knocks smaller children down, and even a few unsuspecting adults. It's really a bit much. There was also the issue of the lifeguard assigned to the kiddie area. He literally did nothing but stand there and gaze off in another direction. There's 3 little slides, but the biggest slide gets most of the action. There is no one monitoring, except for the few parents that stand nearby. But no one really intervenes as the kids pile up at the bottom of the slide and knock others forward. There were often children that were to old to be playing in that area, actually knocking over and shoving small children...and the lifeguard seemed oblivious. The lazy river is extremely tiny. Why they call it the lazy river is beyond me, because...the tube hoarding situation. The small, narrow "river" doesn't give much room for inner tubes anyway. There were only people wading thru the moving water and no tubes in there when we went thru it. The 2 big water slides, we weren't able to go down because of having my granddaughters and my daughter being so pregnant. My teen son did go down them a few times and said they were pretty fun. If it weren't for the fact it's so cheap, I'd give Seashore Waterpark only 2 stars. It's a neat little waterpark, little being the keyword. But it definitely has many areas they could improve.

The Monon Community Center is amazing in so many ways. I love the variety of the gym equipment available, even though I mostly only use the ellipticals. I love the knowledgeable instructors who teach the yoga classes; some of these people have had such an impact in my life. I love the friendly people behind the counter who are supremely helpful and kind every day. This is a peaceful and clean and welcoming gym for everyone. It's a play to get healthy and stay healthy physically and mentally.

Staff were confused by the pool passes. They finally figured out how they worked and we got in. I didn't find the staff to be particularly friendly. Many of the lifeguards were rude to people and just an overall unfriendly tone. The waterpark and pool area itself is quite nice! Loved the water slides and lazy river. I will return to use those again.

Our favorites were the wave pool and the lazy river. We didn't have little ones so we didn't use the kid's area. There is plenty of lounging chairs but if it's super busy these may fill up pretty fast. Luckily you can also set your stuff up in the grassy area too. These are my tips for visiting: 1. Best hours are between after lunch and close. 2. You gotta keep your water bottles, drinks, and snacks in the car. So pack a cooler for breaks or purchase from their snack bar (affordable prices & had 1/2 food after 5pm!). You can also bring in empty bottles to fill up. 3. Stay with your little ones in the wave pool. While our older kids loved the high wave hours, it can been rough for little guys. 4. Check Groupon, they were admission packs available! 5. The "toilet plunge" waterslide is a little rough for little kids, and kids must be 48" or taller for the water slides so they are great for older kids. And there is a specific kid area for the smaller kids! 6. Pack your own beach towels, sunscreen. 7. They aren't really any shaded area, so bring something, like a shade tent, to set up in the grassy areas if preferred.
