I've gone to this Smashburger many times but for some reason, I never reviewed it. I'm a fan of the burger and Smash Fries, which are skinny, salty, crispy with a touch of Rosemary. Not too much Rosemary which is good because it could go very bad if there's too much of this herb. I also got the onion straws this time. Very yummy. Overall I would put Smashburger up with Five Guys which are tied behind Shake Shack. Tasty, juicy burger with a slightly nicer bun than Five Guys. You can't go wrong unless they happen to overcook the burger. If that happens, send it back. I've always had juicy burgers. read more

Had a great experience. I used the app to order our dinner, and it told us it will be ready in 10 min. I waited a few minutes and walked in and our order was already being packaged. The staff was super nice, asked if we needed condiments and or extra sauces and apologized for it taking an extra min for her to make sure our order was all together and complete. It wasn't a hassle. I appreciated it very much. I watched staff cleaning tables and chairs, and the common counter areas (within their covid protocols.). On top of that their restrooms were super clean and sanitized. A step above McDonalds. I frequent this location often. I like using the Smashburger app because your money spent here and other locations earns you free food after $100 spent. Sometimes, they also have coupons on the app as well. Who doesn't love coupons? It takes away the guilt of eating out by knowing you're not paying full price. For the most part, they normally get my orders correctly. Out of maybe twenty orders, they got one order wrong and put rosemary on my sweet potato fries which tasted super strange. Other than that one order, the only downside is the time it takes for them to make your food. The wait time is normally around 5 or more minutes which is long for a fast food establishment. I always order the BBQ bacon burger which is great. The meat is always cooked perfectly. Also, their sweet potato fries are amazing. read more

Hey it's fast food what should I have expected. Perhaps if I wasn't shivering while eating my overpriced chicken sandwich it would have been a better experience. I get it the workers are hot working the grills but I need my Spider Ski Jacket to stay warm on the ice cold metal chairs. I've stopped in during my lunch break and have (for the most part) enjoyed my meal. The burgers are really good, and the fried chicken sandwich is flavorful and juicy. They offer lots of customization; the ingredients are fresh, which is a plus and the service usually good. My only complaint is I've tried the fried pickles recently and they were disgusting. I love pickles and I love fried pickles, but these were borderline inedible. I couldn't put my finger on whether it was the batter or the pickles themselves but they were SO salty, I had two and one more to make sure before I pushed the dish away and couldn't eat any more. I don't recommend their fried pickles, but I do recommend their smash fries. Although I prefer Five Guys to Smashburger, I will say that Smashburger certainly feels/tastes a lot healthier. Five guys can be very greasy - but hey, who goes to a burger joint on a diet anyway?! :-P read more

FINALLY there is a Smashburger close by. We were long looking forward to the grand opening of the Lindy location. We've frequented the Hicksville location and have gone to the Wantagh location as well. For starters, I really dig the interior of this Smashburger. Love the wood, exposed brick and large fans overhead. Cool. Both times we've come here, there was no line. Also very nice. We ordered our create-your-owns both times. First visit, I got the veggie, boy got the grilled chicken and we split an extra grilled chicken (less guilt than the fries and extra protein). We ordered each sammy with the peppercorn aioli sauce, with an extra sauce on the side. Not only did we not get the aioli on either of the three sandwiches, we also didn't get it on the side. So I had to request it and wait. Being almost nine months pregnant, when food is in front of me, I want it in my belly NOW. I wondered if there was an issue with their computer ordering system that this wasn't being properly put in. Second visit, ordered the create your own veggie and the boy got his chicken. Plus sweet potato fries. Of course, I ordered it with the aioli as did he. Again, neither sandwich had the sauce on it. So, I asked for the sauce from one of the runners. And I waited, and waited, and waited. More than 5 minutes passed before I waddled up and asked someone who promptly handed me two sauces. Overall, I like Smashies. I love the fact that they make their veggie burgers in house and that they are a generous size. And very tasty. I especially love the peppercorn aioli sauce. I wish they sold bottles of it. However, the prices do add up fast, so join their loyalty program. We got e-mailed $5 off a $12 purchase which is great. Also, don't bother with the avocado for the $1 add-on. I got it, and received a measly little avocado slice. This being a new location, I am sure they will work out the kinks. All the servers/runners were lined up by the kitchen window area so that part of the restaurant looked a little hectic. But, food was brought out promptly. We will be back. read more

Quick ordering and when we were seated we must have had 5 people come up to us and ask us if everything was ok. I'm sure that's because the restaurant is new but let's see if they can keep it up. Unusually high service score for me for a fast food place. Ambiance: 7/10 - Fun place to eat in. Can be a bit noisy with all of the hub-bub of people ordering. Went for the first time and was disappointed. The place itself was cute and I liked the decor and the big menu. The burgers just weren't that great. I got the avocado one my husband got the mushroom Swiss one. The bun to meat ratio was way off the burgers were too small. We got the smash fries which I liked the thin shoestring style but they just weren't my favorite. In terms of these burger joints I prefer bobbys burger palace as a direct competitor to this. I'm familiar with Smashburger from the Nyack and White Plains locations upstate so when one opened up in my neighborhood I was looking forward to great smash fires, burgers and salads right here in Lindenhurst. For the first few months it was the great Smashburger food and service I had before but lately it has gone downhill. On our most recent visit I found dirty and wet floors, confused service and the news that they no longer offer my favorite salad the Harvest Salad. There is no other salad with the combination of ingredients as the Harvest Salad. I don't know if i'll go back - the salad I like is gone and my wife thought it was dirty. It wasn't bad - It just wasn't as good as it and other Samashburgers have always been. Please bring back the Harvest Salad. read more

I live close to this smash burger and we have eaten here a half a dozen times and I wish I wrote this review sooner. Every time I go there is a different issue. I really like their salsa and that's the only reason I go back. Tonight put me over the edge though. In the past I have ordered online and went to pick it up. They have messed the order up and once didn't have my order at all. This time I. Figured I'd call it in. The girl who picked up was an obnoxious girl from the start. When I told her I had a coupon for a free side she told me I couldn't use it on the phone. I explained I would bring it in and I had the plu. She told me no that people just copy those down... really?!?! It's a $2 side. I've watched the manager give free sides to people that Brought in month old Coupons and you can't honor mine? ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!!!! we placed and order online... needless to say when we arrived they only had one burger ready... they claimed that the order was only the burger however they charged me for the full order and then pretended my order never existed at all. When I asked for a refund from the working "manager" he told me he could not give me a refund and he would have to call the GM who was not on site. After he rolled his eyes a few times and gave me a hard time, he refused me her name and only would accept my number to give to her. I gave my number and a few minutes later round two of this absolute train wreck. The GM called me back and started off with giving me an attitude. As she huffed and puffed on the phone she explained to me that there was nothing we can do and that I was pretty much making up a story that I placed an order just to get some extra cash in my pocket. She told me that it wasn't even her problem to fix since it was her day off, and then proceeded to give me a hard time when I asked why she opted to call me. She told me she wasn't getting paid but she answered her phone. Shortly after I requested to speak to her boss. He was the only saving grace for this whole scenario. He was polite and apologized as if he's had to many times before for the dynamic duo of BS. He offered me a few coupons to go back and get discounted food and he even wrote a hand written letter with the apology and sent it to my house the next day. I will never go back to that establishment again and I do hope that the GM gets a better job where he wont have to cover for the crap of his awful employees. Food is below average. The Shakes are not GOOD!!!! If you want a good shake go somewhere else. They serve them in paper cups and they are small. For 5 dollars you can get a better shake anywhere. My shake had chunks of ice in it. and they brought our shakes to the table long after the food, and it was slow in there. We were the only table. The people tried to be nice, honestly its not about them so much. We are all human, its just the food was not so good. And in my opinion if Im gonna eat unhealthythe food has to be worth it. let it be known the three stars are because I'm a fan of smash burger. I want to love them. I DO...but it's a love/ hate relationship. I placed an online order today for around 9 but called to see if i can move it an hour earlier. They wouldn't allow me to move the order up or cancel so a heads up if you ever order online. Zero flexibility. We got the bacon burgers with fries and a side of fried pickles. The pickles were so salty and greasy we barely ate half the container, it was inedible. The fries were OK but I'm not a fan of shoe string fries. Maybe it's a personal preference but i found myself taking fist fulls of fries just get one bite. Annoying. The burgers themselves were good but the portion was small, i wished i ordered like a triple meat just to get full. Definitely was a waste of a meal and my hard earned money. Good place to grab a bite to eat. I had the spicy jalapeño Baja burger with smash fries. The wife had bbq bacon and cheese burger. It is similar to the burgers at Applebee's. $7.89 for the burger, $2.29 for the fries and $2 for a fountain drink. The burger and fries were good. The fries were good but the shoestring kind. The tables are cleaned by the wait staff who bring you your good. They either need to hire more people or do a better job at budding the tables. read more
