very yummy authentic Colombian food. I've been here 5x so far within the last 2 months and I've tried the pollo empanizada (breaded chicken) meal, the chicken soup, tostones, and banej tipica with carne asada. Ambiance is welcoming. waitresses and waiter are attentive. Highly recommend if you're looking for Colombian Authentic food in the area!

Mixed Grilled Platter (For 2 People)

Came here for dinner Pros: - The Mixed Grilled Platter (For 2 People) was really good and a great portion size. Best meats were the shell steak and sausage. The rice that came with it was also cooked so well! Could've just eaten the rice alone. Potatoes that came with it wasn't that great. - Parking in front Cons: - Service is a bit slow, took around 30 minutes for the food to come out - Was really looking forward to the corn flour beef empanadas since most empanadas I've had were wheat flour but I think they over fried the empanadas since the shell was extremely hard and tough to get through

Food solid. Lots of flavor. Service was ok. They forgot to bring something we ordered. No biggie. The service was friendlier to the staple patrons then us. Not sure if it was the language barrier. Will definitely be back. Empanadas tasted same as I get in queens. Delicious

Food was very very tasty! I ordered a bandeja tipica and my mom and her friend ordered a fish dish. Along with 3 guava smoothies. The service at this place is horrible!!! But the food does partially make up for it in my opinion. The waitress we had, had an attitude, was super inattentive and just overall looked like she didn't want to serve us! Not friendly or welcoming at all!

This was my first dinner out since the lockdown at a place I had never ventured to before. It was a rainy night which prevented any thoughts of outdoor dining. I am not sure if outdoor dining is an option here, but we ate inside regardless. We were a comfortable table of 6 people, separated from another table of 8 people by a significant distance, much appreciated. We were the only two occupied tables in that room. In the room next door, where the bar is located, there was another table of 6 people. Three parties on a Wednesday evening. I sat facing the main entrance and takeout counter so I got to see a constant stream of patrons picking up meals. Our server took our drink orders and brought them back quickly. Dinner orders were taken; some of us had apps, some didn't. The appetizers at my table were ceviche, which looked plentiful and fresh, and empanadas. When our entrees arrived, I was happy to see the generous portions as well as the adherence to personal requests some of my tablemates made. I am an "as-is" orderer, since I like to stick to the chef's plan with fidelity. I enjoyed the Fried porgie, served whole with a smile on its face, and I navigated the bones and whatnot to reach the point of fully enjoying this fish. The seasoning was perfect, not bland but also not overpowered with salt. The accompanying white rice and beans were presented neatly and were also a generous portion. Hot sauce was in individual containers, which was a nice era of COVID touch. My only complaint was that I needed more--luckily my friends passed on hot sauce so I used some of theirs. I refrain from giving 5 stars because I haven't sampled enough of the menu, and some of my table mates thought it was so-so. I will definitely be back to try more, and I highly recommended patronizing them for takeout if you are not comfortable dining inside.

Bandeja Tipica Pork, grilled steak, egg, avocado, areapa white rice & beans

The food looks presentable, but don't be fooled. The quality of the food lacks taste. There's nothing tasteful. Steak was dry, hard to cut with no seasoning, pork was dry with no seasoning, Egg was too well cooked, areapa bread hard couldn't cut it apart & beans had no seasoning. Tostones was good with guacamole. Waiters keep checking over our table way too many times. Not recommended

Beautiful traditoncal colombian location! As soon as you see you it from the outside you immediately it will be authentic cuisine. The staff automatically treats you with genuine hospitality, it seems as if you're eating at your own families restaurant! The wait was not too long, considering it was a pretty busy Friday night! They have a great bar area where you can seat as well. I ordered the typical platter, a traditional Colombian dish with a taste of everything. It was delicious, every taste bud thsnked me with every bite! It was delicious, authentic, Hispanic food. You can tell it's made with real passion and love! I would definitely go back, as it is more than just great food. It's a great experience. Thank you Paradoor Latino!

    Mondongo (tripe soup)

Wow, after spending a month in Elmhurst, I never thought I'd be able to find similar quality Colombian food around me. Imagine my joy when I happened upon this place. I got the bandeja paisa and it was just as good as the places in Elmhurst. Now, I'm not a fan of the chicharron, so usually I just nibble at it a bit and leave most of it behind, but for some reason I asked if it could be substituted and was offered a piece of rotisserie chicken in its place. This made for a fantastic meal. The grilled beef was tender and flavorful. The fried egg was cooked soft and the runny yolk gave some more richness to a perfectly made rice. The plantains were sweet and not greasy. The avocado helped give some freshness to the meal. While flavorful, the chicken was a bit dry, but still much better than the chicharron. The beans were really tasty as well. I also tried the tripe soup (mondongo) and it was also fantastic. I love any sort of tripe soup and this one was a winner. The tripe was super tender and flavorful, without the gaminess it sometimes can have. There were pieces of pork in it as well. The soup was thick and rich and really homey. I'm definitely coming back here for their chicken soup and their oxtail soup. Ask for lots of hot sauce. That stuff is delicious! It's acidic and really helps balance the richness of the dish. Heck, I'd go as far as to say you could pour a little bit into the mondongo too. This place is perfect for someone trying Colombian food for the first time in a non-threatening environment. It's clean, everyone speaks English, the menu includes English translations, and they take credit card. After eating here a few times, you'll be ready to try Colombian food in Queens. Definitely coming back here.
